JOCK ITCH SYMPTOMS:
So, what are the common symptoms to recognise with ‘Jock Itch’. You might have jock itch if you notice: An irritated and persistently itchy red rash with raised edges - usually on the groin, skin folds, inner thighs or on your bum, you can also have burning sensation around the affected area, the skin area can also be flaking and cracked.
WHEN TO SEE YOUR DOCTOR FOR JOCK ITCH:
The good thing with jock itch, is that in most cases you won’t need to speak to a healthcare professional as it is mild and using some of the prevention lifestyle tips in this video will help. However, sometimes you may need to visit your local pharmacy for advice on some of the treatment options discussed in this video.
Usually, if your symptoms don’t improve after two weeks of some of the OTC treatments, you should make an appointment to see your healthcare professional. You may have developed a secondary infection that needs treatment with some different medication.
Also if the symptoms worsen and do not improve, please go speak to a healthcare professional.
The bottom-line with jock itch, is that it is not usually that serious, it can be a persistent and recurrent problem that causes discomfort and itching. I've had jock itch since I was 15, I'm 23 now and it's on and off, especially when I walk for too long or it's a hot day and I do some heated activities. When I get home at night, there it is...jock itch.

My jock itch has been starting since i started my freshman year of high school last year i got it at the beginning of the year i been to the doctor twice for this i tried spary and creme it did not work but im gonna see a dermatologist and i hope they can fix it my itching is killing me!

After I shower and dry off with a towel, I then use a hair dryer on the cool setting. This acts just like those air dryers in public restrooms.

@@louie-xc2ri, Lotrimin Ultra works very well. It is more expensive than the regular Lotrimin and other creams but is much more effective.
Mouth wash does the trick, apply twice a day and it goes away. It’s quite amazing, also good feeling as it feels like the fungus is being nuked.

Doc can i use some kinds of tissues instead of towels
I ve been using a blow dryer for years along with a towel . It works keeping your groin and buttocks dry to prevent chaffing and rash. If I don’t use the blow dryer and only towel off, by the end of the day all hell is is breaking loose with chaffing and rash.. also for hygienic reasons I keep my pubic hair trimmed and cleaned. It makes life more enjoyable.

What about if it itch on the internal
Then my friend u may have hemorrhoids if u have itch in your anus or around u may have hemmoroids. There are two types external hemmoroids and internal hemmoroids. The external ones cause itch to your anus area. Internal causes leakage of fluid that can also cause jock itch cuz keeps area moist. A doctor can identify hemmoroids takes about 120 dollar in USA for a visit well worth it. I can help prescribe the solution if u think it hemorrhoids

I have been using Clotrimazole 1% from last week but I don't see any changes of jock rash Only The itching or stinging goes away but It comes back after 3 - 4 hour of using this cream
You need to get the OTC lotrimin ultra / generic Butenfine. It's the only thing I use that works at all I've been suffering with it for two years with short of a few days no itching. If I don't use it I break out in a rash but the butenfine keeps it at bay. Best of luck to you man you aren't alone.

I've had jock itch for over a year now, and nothing I do makes it go away. Heck, even a few hours after applying antifungal cream, the itching returns.
Try turmeric with apple cider vinegar diluted with water it might help. 4 days applying its getting better

Yip apple cider vinegar undiluted letting it soak into the infected area for at least 15 minutes. Do it daily for 2 weeks. After a few days, you will notice the skin tightening up then the top layer of skin flakes off revealing the new layer.
I got it going into a public swimming pool.

Well I cant speak to women as I am not one, but if you ignore that and read my comment read all of it. I got jock its on my thigh and nuts pretty bad. I figured out how to kill it, but I cant stress enough when I say "no pain no gain." Hand sanitizer 74% you dont want any higher % than that. It will be painful Im not going to lie especially on your nuts. Consider that ladies, it was like having my nuts set on fire but I have an abnormally high pain tolerance. The first time will burn the worst then it will get less and less painful as you kill the fungus., dont stop once the symptoms are gone continue to do this several times a day for a couple weeks. The burning for me stopped after about the 4th application. Men, my advice to you is apply it to a paper towel, wipe every affected part other than your nuts first, then with the paper towel still somewhat damp wipe your nuts gently. Keep repeating this till you no longer have a burning sensation. Never its your crotch again, instead of itching it hit it with some hand sanitizer, and warn people you may be screaming at the top of your lungs for 30 seconds to a minute. to lessen the pain put a hair dryer on cool and blast your nuts while they burn. Either way, get ready for battle because you are in for a fight. I kept reapplying over a 30 minute span and the alcohol doesnt burn anymore anywhere. Let me be perfectly clear, this will be painful. The pain will last about 20 seconds tops. The pain is scary because at first nothing happens, then the pain ramps up very quickly over time but it only lasts about 20 seconds. The pain on your thigh will be tolerable, but on your nuts... You are going to think you are going to die, you wont die, but for a moment you will want to die. Just re-read my comment and start in areas off your nuts first to get an idea how the burn works. Good luck.

Try using olive oil. It will reduce dark skin patches over the time

i was a little hesistant to go to one at first, because im shy. But the doctor immediately asked me to strip. No hesistation, they are very used to it. Dont worry.
look up tutorials on how to use hydrogren peroxide, there's also tea tree oil (dilute it with a carrier oil, e.g virgin coconut), same with oregano & thyme oil (these last two sting alot if not properly mixed into a smoother oil)
I use apple cider vinegar it works really good but you end up smelling like vinegar lol

I had jock itch for many months, it keeps coming back even after using tropicals, I thought I would suffer from this all my life but fortunately i realised that I'm not applying tropicals on my balls, my scrotum is very dark so i did not notice any discoloration so i thought it's not affected and when i start treating it too for 2 weeks my jock itch is gone. Anyone desperate to treat persistent jock itch I think I found the perfect combo of creams. It’s only two cheap otc creams and not scrubbing the area or rubbing while showering. Only pat dry after shower no soap in the area. Just water lightly
