Holosun killed it again. Just need to have FDE options and blacked out logos for better look.
Yeah the holosun logo definitely bugs me
EVER HEAR OF A FCKN SHARPIE
@Jesse THEY MAKE PAINT SHARPIES ALSO!!!
Yeah I wish they made their logos less obnoxious.
@@frontsquats circle with no dot? That's just unsafe if you ever needed precision shooting..
Great. All red dot reviews should be like this. Great parallel comparison and sight views. Great job.
agreed
The glass quality on the dpp is just superior
I like reticle options with big window
Thanks for the comparison! Pre Ordered one back few a months. Excited to test it out vs my SRO's.
Height of a slide mounted optic matters more than the width.
Absolutely agree
the height is more than adequate. If you cant find the dot or lose the dot with a window that big, then your presentation/recoil management suck
@@HazardousRob While I agree that practice is very important. If you have never shot in dynamic situations you will be very surprised how easy it is to lose the dot. For example it can be quite easy to lose your dot after recoil while shooting one-handed under barriers while lying on your side. In these types of scenarios a big window is absolutely your friend. Even better something like the Holosun with the ACSS reticle that has the huge donut around it is very handy. Just don’t forget to change your battery every year. It sucks the juice! All things in balance though. I don’t want a car windshield mounted to the top of my slide. There is a limit to needed dot window size.

@@HazardousRobis that why 99% of comp shooters choose the largest windows? Their recoil management sucks?
Nice comparison. Other large competition red dots for pistols would be the C MORE RTS and the Romeo 3 Max.
Just got my 507Comp. I really wanted the RMR HD but the overhang on the optic is simply a design flaw on that and the SRO.
The Swampfox Justice II has a huge and clear window with a sharp 6 moa dot that is awesome. It's been a great sight so far (2000 RDS) and I'm hoping it'll hold up because it's really is better than all three of these for competition use. And yes, I have all three of these RDS sights so I can fairly compare them. The SF J2 feels much sturdier than the older models so I'm really hoping the reliability is there.
Great short review but it would help to actually turn them on at some point for comparison

I hear you, but it wasn't the point to my statement. Thanks though@@GunsandTactics
Just only so much I can show in a 1 min short. Appreciate the comment
Man, i wish we could get that 507 comp with an ACSS reticle, the 250moa circle around it is a life saver if you can't find your dot in an awkward shooting position
No need
Window is probably too big for that system to work and if you really need the help you can just do the biggest circle and a dot in the center. If you’re not at least catching a corner of the biggest circle you need a little more practice on presenting. That whole what if I’m shooting under a car comment… well.. if you’re a cop then maybe practice presenting in that situation but for civilians there’s about a one in a hundred million that you’ll ever be in that situation in your lifetime. Practice presenting that way if you think you’re that one.
Everyone says practice practice practice. And that’s good advice. But sometimes life gets in the way and we get rusty. And in the heat of the moment, adrenaline kicking in, in a self defense situation I will gladly use just about anything that will give me an advantage. Which is why I have the ACCS Vulcan on my EDC.
The Cmore RTS2 will still always be my go to for comp guns. 8 moa dot is the way
just picked up my 507COMP today. Last one that was in stock so happy!
How much are they?
@Savsal12 we have a link in the pinned comment t
I just got one from my LGS and it was like 379 @Savsal12
Absolutely love my Deltapoint Pros
How low the window is to the table is really nice too on the holosun. The optic sits a little lower on the slide.
I don’t have a dog in the fight. I’m about to order the 507 comp. But I have the SRO and it is NYCE
SRO still reigns as king for best sight picture
We’ll see this sits lower obviously
@@iamnotacriminal lol nah. I have the SRO, Holosun takes the win.
🔥
The new hotness indeed.
Sad to see that the EoTech EFLX doesn’t seem to catch on
507C Comp for the win!
How would the 507 work on a Beretta A300 Patrol 12ga Semi Auto Shotty?
I’m all done with open red dot. Give me the 509 with the ACSS. Holosun if you’re listening make primary arms ACSS in green dot in the 509. Plus make it a bigger window like your new 507 comp.
Good side by side
I know, I know. You are testing the EPS carry before giving the review. I am waiting for your review before buying anything. The EPS carry is on back order so I have time to wait. You are not a shill so I listen to you.
the delta point pro one looks like the cod scope xdd
From other videos ive seen. The footprint of the holosun sits wide and overhangs on the slide, and I wish they rounded it off a bit more to give it a better eye relief like the sig romeo 3 maxx and the c more rts2 does. Thats my initial knocks on the optic right out of the gate.
Holosun has always been a legit product at a reasonable cost. What's the price on it?
$435 retail price
SRO every day
507 comp all the way 💯
Trijicon needs to drop their price or Holosun is going to bury them - Im getting the 507 Comp for a 45 offset on an AR.
SRO all day everyday
Any idea when these will b available??
Holosun still the best pistol optics all around.
Factually the trijicons are far superior in quality but holosun can't be beat as far as the price to quality ratio.
@@JTheraos yes, but the Holosuns still have better features and clearer glass
@@theiviachineyour garbage features are useless and aren’t worth sacrificing durability and quality lol
@@Rooooogboi my pistols stay in holsters and are secondaries. If you would like to pay triple the price for an optic that has dark blue glass and a feature set from 2004 you can be my guest. If “durability” is that important to you
@@theiviachine it has blue tint to allow certain lights not to interfere which allows you to run the reticle at any brightness so light doesn’t affect it really 😂😂😂😂 I pay a premium price for a premium product. You can enjoy your budget optic that’s a range toy at best bro. I will enjoy something ready for whatever the hell comes
I feel a Romeo 3 Max should be in this comparison too.
I’ll see if they’ll send one but I don’t see many of them in the wild
@@GunsandTactics really? I was under the impression it was quite popular.
@@InvidiousIgnoramus not compared to the SRO or DPP in what I’ve seen at classes, matches etc. Don’t see many sig optics I have the ROMEO2 and was impressed
I run one on my XC and it’s superior to the SRO imo.
@@GunsandTactics The Romeo3 Max and XL are literally 2 of the very most popular optics on the market for competition. I'd say they are more popular than the DPP at this point. The DPP is older tech and no longer as used.
When will it be available?
Looking to purchase my first C2. I may cc it, may not. Not sure yet. Definitely want a closed emitter but wondering if any optic would hinder carry concealment?
Holosun. Always keeping Trijicon and aimpoint on their best behavior.
SRO is still king of the competition dots.
Holosun, the “Glock” of the optics market.
But holosun is literally the number 1 leader in optics innovation...
@@JTheraos also #1 for not holding zero & for having quality control issues.
Never say that again. Glock is actually reliable.
@@jeremiahbishop6322 my 508T has over 10k round through it. Its been through several classes, been dropped and used to rack the slide. still holds zero no problem. youre talking out of your ass lol
Will the 507 comp fit on a 43x mos????
Not without an adaptor
@@GunsandTactics the 507k fits if u shave 2 of the post on the slide cut. Maybe this will work the same way?
@@definitelyduse the 507 Comp is an RMR footprint. Different screw placement.
look into an eps or eps carry
@@GunsandTactics the 507k is rmr footprint as well
507 comp sold out everywhere 😢
Hasn’t been released yet
@@GunsandTactics ohhh that make sense now. Every online store shows out of stock, do you know the release date by any chance
Sro
Like to see a torture test of the SRO.
What do you have in mind? That generally is Arron’s thing but I think realistic testing can be done
@@GunsandTactics I've heard that it can't stand up to abuse like an RMR and that it was more of a competition sight. I'd like to mount a micro on a rifle but the RMR's window looks too small.
Look at the sage dynamics video on the SRO
@@gorps Another good gun channel thanks
Does anyone know the footprint exact size of the 507 comp? Total length and width of the comp base only?
It’s RMR
@@GunsandTactics I know it’s an rmr footprint but an rmr footprint is 45.2mm x 28mm. The 507 comp looks a lot wider and that’s what I’d like to know the answer to if you have that?
@idahohusker7655 I gotcha. All of mine are mounted but they are wider. In the back it’s about 28.71 mm and then it flares wider in the front to about 31.3 mm
@@GunsandTactics oh that’s great information honestly. I’ve been asking everyone I could including optics trade but no one has been able to give me that information so thank you so much! Sub for that!
Middle looks the best for visibility
Because it is, and it's also twice the price of the holosun
What do you mean visibility? The optic body will be entirely out of focus
@@gorps it has the biggest lens, so you can see more of what you’re aiming at. It’s similar to having a bigger tv or monitor. That and it has a slim shell or support around the glass so it’s not blocking as much of your field of view. When it comes to close to mid range engagements the more you can see and the less blocking what you can see can be all the difference. Like compared to a 4x or 10x scope it takes much longer to acquire your target and put a round threw them than if you have a red dot in the sense of not already having a sight picture and all that. Especially close range like room clearing or just home defense in general it’s much better to have an open sight that doesn’t block what you can see and can quickly and accurately put the dot on your target as fast as possible. It can be life or death of course personally I’m gonna get the 30$ red dot with a laser on it because it costs 5% of any of these sights and for up close a laser is even faster to get on a target.. just saying
@Planning oh so you don't know anything about shooting, you should have led with that. These dots are built for competition, not whatever weird larp scenario you have in your head. It's easier to track a dot under recoil than it is to track a laser, which is why dots are used by high level competitors, and not lasers.
I thought the 507c has the solar panel on top?
This is not the 507c, it is a 507 Comp
And $400. Done deal. Sign me up.
SRO is just sexier
lmao no it isnt.
Yeah but which one is made in America
Lmfao , do you feel the same when you use your Chinese phone? Or do tell where you buy your American made phone😂
@@douglasmoore8033 I expect my economy to be better but that's something you have no idea of
This will sound silly to some. I want to try the new comp, just can’t get myself to mount it on top of my American made pistol. Thinking RMR HD
hey its your money I guess. but youre spending more and getting less with the RMR HD
Window box on 507 too thick, blocks out view point especially on longer distant targets
no it doesnt lol.
Made in USA or Made in China
You missed the sig romeo max but otherwise good video
S R O
can't beat the SRO
beats it easily
Why buy holosun when we can buy aimpoint
Still made in China?
Just like everything else you own and use.
@@ThatTylerGuy16 not everything.. especially my gun parts
@@floridaman9026 still made in china. Still a superior optic and more innovative than the US made counterpart you own for the sake of Murcia.
@@alecplooff I agree.. they are more innovative. But superior? No.. sorry! I'll have to disagree. There's a reason these optics aren't used for serious use. Only airsofters and guys at the range on weekends running these.
It will always be made in China. It's good quality and an affordable option.
Be careful gun bros are very picky when it comes to red dot sights.. if you dont have a dot that cost more than your gun the toxic gun bros will let you have it and tell you what a gun casual you are. 🙄
And god forbid the dot isn’t made in the USA. As if 99.9% of shit in their life isn’t from China
why would holosun make an optic and call it a comp?
a comp in the gun would is short for compensator not competition optic?
just why holosun?
I'm buying a trijicon rmr just on principle alone!
Short for competition
Because it's not called a comp... It's called a 507c comp. And anyone in the gun world knows what that is
I don’t think you shoot competitions. People often refer to their “Comp Gun” and it has nothing to do with having a compensator. It’s just the gun you compete with.
Delete this comment lmfao. Competition shooters have comp guns/race guns, comp style optics, etc. Nothing to do with a compensator. I'm baffled.
Delta point is absolute trash.
How so?
