I totally agree with you. There's potential for a good game, but Ubisoft already gets alot of criticism for filling their games with a huge amount of shallow content. That'll only be exacerbated with a live service game

Fully agree with you one my main concerns is that one the names you mentioned in the video for having allegations made against them that from what I hear nobody at ubisoft wants to work with or under is apparently the lead developer for project red a setting ac fans have requested for over ten years now which they probably only gave fans to build up hype and interest for ac infinity

Ghost Recon Breakpoint, the way to kill the entire Ghost Recon Franchise is the only example you need to know what AC Infinity will bring.
I can tell you know it is all about vanity, you upgrade your player avatar for pointless gear numbers constantly chasing gear with a higher number. The story as such, as seen in Breakpoint will be pathetically short and totally lackluster. Yet there are many who play it constantly but crucially it is all in the PvP mode and so called Raids, which is nothing more than co-op with upto 3 other players to take on enemy hordes. The main story is locked out by outrageously high gear level caps to prevent you from finishing the story earlier and quitting the game. They did it on purpose because the piss poor main story is not even 3 hrs of play time, I am serious, it is just that shit.
But wait! its spread over 3 episodes, that's gotta good right? Yeah well, if each episde is like 35mins worth of main story play through then yeah sure.
    AC Infinity:
    - PvP mode (Assassin Wars)
    - Raids on Templar HQs (Co-op upto 4 other Assassin's to take one hordes of enemy only difference being you can do it guns blazing or use stealth)
    - Daily missions that expire in exactly 24 hrs, these are random generated there will be no cut-scenes and NPCs will never really talk/interact with you. It is the very definition of a soulless form of repetitive grind mission you can ever think of. This is what they really mean when they claim "new content".
    - Main story will 1/8 of what you had in even the smallest AC releases till date. Ah but dont think you can just focus only on the story and be done with it, more grind missions for you, papa Ubiosft has ordered it.
    - Watch Dog cross over missions, same rubbish seen with Rainbow Six Siege cross over into Breakpoint or should I call it Rainbow Woke Siege? Yeah probably the latter. AC has already crossed over to Watch Dogs so its long overdue.
    - Best for last: nothing will conclude in a meaningful way. Eg: you put in a lot of work to take out some major Templar boss, it will basically amount to nothing. New Episode will focus on something entirely new leader to take out and nothing will really change. Breakpoiint is the hilariously sad example of this, You will kill Walker and Stone yet the Wolves are well coordinated and running all over the placed like nothing ever happened. You'd think your actions will actually have an impact on the world, nope not one bit. It's like those bosses never existed in the first place. This is what you are getting in AC Infinity. You saw signs of this already in AC Origins and it got worse and worse with AC Odyssey then AC Valhalla.
Don't be surprised if most or all of it comes out to be exactly like this, I dont need leaks or sources when Ubisoft is just that transparent with their machinations.
More like AC Infinity Bullshit. And you know what the most sad part is? Quite a lot of new players will lap it up because we are in the narcissist's age after all where selfies and likes and vanity numbers are the main satisfaction outlets, more so than actual content or quality story telling. Ubisoft employs market analytics and that has told them just what they needed to know about their current audience. Mindless people with poor taste just wanting to blow money on something they haven't really played before but because they have heard of it from past glory, would like to take a dip and see how it goes but then quickly get sucked into the vanity side of the game.

I appreciate the well written post! I have never played Breakpoint but that sounds like Ubisoft! The craziest part is I don't believe you're wrong at all! I have a glimmer of hope they actually try but.. Yeah..Ubisoft. Thanks for watching!

I think it's premature to write AC off. I've enjoyed all the games so far (except maybe Rogue). Ubisoft have to know that if they make a game that upsets people, it won't sell in the huge numbers that Valhalla (and other entries) have. There's nothing good or bad about the 'live service' model, it's entirely down to how it's implemented. It's in their interests to make this model enjoyable and not predatory, or people won't support it.

There is a balance, yes. I believe there could be a good game there. But I'm skeptical Ubisoft can do it. Just me tho. Thanks for your input!
