Be very aware of what you are obligating yourself to when purchasing a vehicle. You will be freely giving up your personal god given rights to politicians and some nefarious people. 2021 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act mandate set to redefine the landscape of DUI prevention: by as early as 2026, all new vehicles sold within the country will need to be equipped with passive alcohol detection systems. Keep in mind these systems are maintenance related. The sensors will require calibration, replacement and electronic data memory service due to the heavy writing of data to maintain the system. Yearly cost and expenses will add up and price people out of vehicle ownership from even the cheapest vehicles.
