FCIM failed and how to replace it on a Ford Edge Climate controls and fans now working

4 out of 5 people that hit the like button and subscribed to this channel reported they saved money on repairs. Front Control Interface Module FCIM failure. I purchased a used FCIM from an EBAY seller. The used FCIM did work and I explained in the video how to determine the FCIM has failed and not the fan resister. Pretty easy to diagnose and replace but also expensive even for a used part. The availability of the FCIM through most web sites state this FCIM is discontinued and maybe you can get a NEW FCIM through Ford but you will have to check with Ford dealers near you to determine the availability.

Thanks for the info that you provide. I just purchased my son a 2013 Ford edge Limited with the same radio. I think the same thing is happening to it like yours. Do you think that the regular pushbutton style would be plug-and-play with the Sony head unit? I don’t like the touch capacitive sensors that are on this radio.
