Prince Harry: Smartphones Are ‘Stealing Young People’s Childhood’

- Prince Harry, long known for being an outspoken advocate on mental health issues, is currently focused on a very tricky problem: social media and its effects on youth.
“In many cases, the smartphone is stealing young people’s childhood,” he said in a conversation, a video of which was exclusively shared with Fortune this week, with social psychologist Jonathan Haidt, author of The Anxious Generation.
Haidt-whose four foundational smartphone rules have inspired both celebration and pushback-couldn’t agree more, explaining to Harry the premise of his book: That people born after 1995 (Gen Z, roughly) throughout the English-speaking world hit puberty with high rates of anxiety, depression, self-harm, and suicide, which all rose sharply between 2010 and 2012. And that it was no coincidence-but instead a direct result of the smartphone.

How hypocritical mabey he and wife should talk about the mental health of all their staff they bullied as well as the mental health of his family when they were bullying his very ill grandmother and grandfather the late queen Elizabeth and prince Philip in their final painfull days yea harry what about that 😡
We may point to the problem or point to the solution....like challenging the manufacturers to build a pre-adult version phone that helps establish responsible use.
this is true actually but also not always because of that, life has changed and shift is more online tech driven then outdoor nature and face to face recently I declined so called zoom meetings even though maybe as creative they might have benefited me but I am annoyed same with push buttons call centers a simple thing of calling your doctor or some service physiotherapies and rest, is today not simple, irritating and annoying and for all some good online shopping ordering i still like going to stores to browse and choose with real seen stuff then maybe or not photoshopped products online
For once, I agree with him.

How about the mental health of his own alleged children who are never seen and are completely isolated from both grandfathers and cousins aunts and uncles as well as other children yea harry keeping children locked up in montishito away from the world is great for mental health NOT bloody hypocrites 😡
