Myself old fashion, I use old bilora video fluid heads that are so well made and easy basic adjustments, German technology have several heads bought cheap and fitted them to modern tripods . Great video review

Apart from the centre dust cover and knobs the main body of the VT3510 is cast aluminium not plastic . In the 6 years of owning this head I've never had a problem with the accuracy of the spirit level.

Nice video.
I am using Neewer 2in1 multipurpose tripod for my Nikon P1000, but I just ordered VT-3510 head today as my tripod has ball head which is a headache. However, I am pretty happy with the tripod for the Price and the value.
I have always been impressed with Neewer. Are there compromises? Yes. But they are impressive value for the money in my experience!
How are you liking the P1000? The zoom on that thing is incredible!
Question. Can i use arca swiss plates on these heads?
Unfortunately I don't have any Swiss Arca plates to test. If you have a Swiss Arca that is comparable with a Manfrotto shoe it should work - but I would guess that in most cases the answer would be "no."
What tripod are you currently using - and why?
Thanks for your video. I'm actually looking at the VT-2500 for amateur astronomy/ astrophotography. I'm using a 4" refractor & a DSLR (my payload is about 2-3kg). My main concern is the stability & damping of the tripod. Do you think the 2500 offers that kind of stability? For reference, maybe you've used it with a DSLR & a telephoto lens. If so, how stable was it?
@@zainshaikhzadeh My D7000 + 70-200 2.8 would be about 2.25 kg and performance with that payload is pretty good I think. I would guess that the 2kg is the 2500's sweet spot? I have never done astrophotography, so I'm not sure what to look for in terms of performance.
