- In Bossa Studios' 'Surgeon Simulator 2' you are tasked the delicate procedure of saving lives at the tip of a scalpel. Or, if you prefer, a hacksaw, an aubergine or some donuts. In Surgeon Simulator 2 anything goes, except perhaps the Hippocratic oath.
I finally got the chance to work with the fantastic Bonecage on this project. He's insanely talented and criminally underrated so please do check out his channel for some of the most wonderfully bizarre music you'll find on UA-cam!
His musical skills in the realm of rock allowed me to explore a new sound for this song! I've wanted to do a more rock sounding number for a while and the zany nature of Surgeon Sim was a perfect fit. I tried my best to channel my inner Weird Al for this one, one of my earliest influences, along with a healthy dose of B52s.
This was the LAST video to be filmed in my house before I move in a few weeks time to start setting up my own production space! I have some content planned for the next couple of months but this will be the last live action video I make for a while whilst I sort my life into boxes and then out of boxes at the other end! Please stick around, there's lots of exciting stuff on the way!

Psychopathic, while a description word for a disorder is vulgarly to describe a dangerous unfeeling person. The pun also references psychology (the study of the mind and its behaviors) and psyche (the human mind)
Homicide is the act of murder against your fellow man, and homicidal is feeling murderous or capable of harming and killing someone. The pun is either homeopathy, a type of pseudoscience or homo, a genus, and an ancestor of man
This song is like pure chaos energy. It fits the game perfectly, but it goes even further beyond and reaches the parts of the mind you don't know exist yet. This is clearly embodyment of chaotic chaos and in doing so brings your brain on a journey to somewhere mystical. I love it.

love stupendium, love rock, while there was more potential for chaotic notes, LOVE THE SONG. by chaotic notes i mean random sharps or flats in the center of a keyboard or piano. if used well, and often enough, can create a great chaotic harmony. more difficult to do with rock (i would presume), but my favorite ever song is rock and does this.

As a side not:Docpendium pulling out an elongated napkin across three montage cuts, then suddenly (but appropriately)turning into a magician and just going with the act is one of my favorite filmed gags in history.

The visuals also owe something to Al's "The Beverly Hillbilles." Although that's a riff on Dire Straights's "Money for Nothing," since when Al makes a video of his parodies he makes a parody video.
That is really ironic, you working with Bonecage and this game is about ripping apart the patient's bone cage. I really love the 80's vibe, even this part 2:46. I absolutely love the song and the visuals.

I really love the "If your internals have curdled, and need some surgery urgently..." part of the song. That entire part? So catchy. Each rhyme comes at you fast and they're SO good. I find myself muttering the words to myself and always mess up with the rhythm.

The part that starts at 2:34 is, in my opinion, the one of thr best showings I've seen of how brilliant you are at writing lyrics. The constant rhymes and the clever use of rhymes at the start of words like, "INFERnal INFIRmary"
