His "Fine Print" can be listened to even without playing the game. Perfect lyrics, production, humor and social commentary at the same time.
Also everything else from him is guaranteed to be stupendously good, you can't miss with him.

And the reason I suggested Doctor! Doctor! Is because I love the funk, the endless puns, and rustage’s lightheaded and mimed dancing! I think you’ll enjoy the endless barrage of puns!
I feel too that a piece of my brain melts in to a puddle every time i hear him, and then it evolves and wants to do creative stuff, it is the Stupendously stupid sickness and it compends us all. I did not even noticed that the blade was backwards! Thank you for doing this video it is fun to see you
You're right. You really need to watch his stuff multiple times to get it and even then you're still finding new stuff. It's like a cornucopia of unending fun! :D I like your reactions, you get into the music and don't have a problem explaining it either.

@@Insaneian how did it go since im on here now. I haven't really paid much attention to death and taxes in ages, and even when I did it was barely.
3 things I want to say:
1. A comedy song I'd recommend you react to that slays me every time (and is seasonally relevant), is the 12 Pains of Christmas by Bob Rivers.
2. As for Stupendium songs: "Doctor! Doctor! - Two Point Hospital Rap" is his funniest song, "Milk Milk Lemonade - Cuphead Rap" is arguably his most clever song, and "The House Always Wins | Animated Fallout: New Vegas Rap" has what most people agree to be Greg's best line to date, (you'll probably know it when you hear it).
3. Your face is perfect for dry/deadpan humor; your eyes can be lifeless in just the funniest frickin' way!
So, to answer in order:
1) I love that song as well...which means, sadly I've heard it already. I tend to only react to new or new-to-me songs/videos, as that makes the first impression reactions better/more entertaining. I grew up with that first Bob River Twisted Christmas album (he was a DJ in Baltimore where I grew up before he moved to Seattle where his twisted tunes blew up) so it's very familiar to me. 😅
2) a bunch of those are definitely on my list to check out, so I'll get to them once I get a few of the newer things out of the way.
3) thank you! Never been told I had dead eyes before, but since it was said in a complimentary fashion, I'll take it! 😁

Alright, I'll try to recommend something you probably haven't been recommended before: MiatriSs.
MiatriSs is a Russian Nerdcore musician, and when she writes songs in English, (like ua-cam.com/video/Zktrwiknq64/v-deo.html.), the lyrics are made of somewhat broken English, but that actually makes the songs better by giving them a poetic dreamlike quality that I can't describe. It may not be comedic, but I think it would be very interesting to analyze.

If you have the time, after you're done with his new songs, I would highly recommend you react to the Stupendium's Bendy and the Ink Machine song Art of Darkness. it's one of my absolute favorites and it's amazingly animated.
That one gets suggested a lot, but I know literally nothing about Bendy and the Ink Machine.

Oh one recommendation Ian, for these reaction videos, if you could reverse a smidge after you pause, either left arrow to go back five seconds or however far is necessary, just so you don't lose the flow of the lyrics/song from a pause.

@@Insaneian well that's the downside. I don't know how much time you have on your hands and I don't think an editor would be in any way a financially good decision
@@illjan yeah, I'm not a big enough channel (or have enough funds) to hire an editor. Everything on my channel is shot and edited by me. Somethings take more editing time (like my music videos and the taste test episodes I used to do) and I have other things I do (like song writing and recording, video game streams on Twitch, and scripts for more long-form videos) so having a second-viewing reaction may not be best for now.
If you want a ton of puns i higly recomend milk milk lemonade, its a good one
Could I recommend... MC Frontalot? He's kinda been under the radar for the Nerdcore scene and not a lot of people react to him.
I know Front. I've actually opened for Damian before and while he has funny songs, he doesn't really consider himself a comedy musician, and I'm trying to react to specifically comedy musicians and not just nerdcore. Plus, I've seen everything he's done, and these are usually my 1st impression reactions.
And calling the Godfather of Nerdcore "under the radar" in the genre he helped create is the funniest thing I've read today. Thank you for that. 😅

You are most definitely right. He is the godfather of nerdcore and while I love the music he makes, if you look up MC Frontalot reactions, there are none unfortunately. This would be why I think I made the under the radar comment. Though, true.. if you've seen all his stuff then it wouldn't be a reaction and more of a study into him.

Nice! I know Stupendium is a fan...he had Al listed as his top artist on Spotify! I myself am a huge fan of Al's as well...and I'm the only artist to appear on all three Weird Al fan tribute albums! (It helps that I produced the second one myself) 😅

I honestly prefer his two point hospital song more. If not only the melody, the song is generally more fun. Don't worry, I don't mean to ask for it or anything. I just can't help but compare the two. Possibly because they both involve hospital games. However they are vastly different, and therefore so are the songs.
