    Making plenty of progress, keep it up! Took me ages to get those 8th notes for skank/blast beats going, but at some point it just "clicks" and it becomes second nature. You'll feel it when you get there, then your speed will go up very fast, so keep at it in comfortable tempos. :)

    made alot of progress. your double bass skank beat sounded pretty tight. work on some double bass control and get it thight and youll be able to play alot of awesome beats.
    for the blast beats, try to relax your arms a bit more you looked tense.. give your hi hat arm a bit of a sweep. let your snare arm use the bounce back from the snare and try to use your wrist more on the snare. (nice tip: tighten your snare head a bit for more bounce)

    Drumbeats 3 and 4 are pretty much the essential two beats which were prominent in extreme metal in the 00's - the reason why I started liking doom metal more. Just those two beats over and over in every song makes a pretty boring listening experience. As much as I like blasting and double bass drumming, you just can not milk those to the ends of the world.
    Zimorog proves he is great by showing more than those two beats

  • @RyanChaos.0
    @RyanChaos.0 6 років тому +6

    I would start slower with the double bass. Trying to play fast immediately will just make you play really sloppily. Also try looking up some tutorials on how to tune a drum set, it’ll help your drums sound a lot better and you’ll need to learn how to do it at some point.
