PSA hit it out of the park with this gun. These guns sell out fast every time they come back in stock , I don't know what the actual numbers are by now but it's gotta be pretty substantial and aside from some early alleged problems with the trigger pin and some mag drops that PSA seems to have solved , you'd be hard pressed to find a complaint or flaw reported by anyone! The fact is , the more you shoot it , the more you love it!!
Love this video! love the honesty and transparency and down to earth view. I have all Glocks - 17,19 and 43x. My last buy was 43x mos with holosun 507k2x2. not very happy with that setup. looking to get a dagger and try it out
Thank you ! I think you should try the Dagger ,they don't break the bank and I'm sure you'll be pleased with it. I recently got the full sized frame and I love it . I have bigger hands and it's perfect ! I have the comparison in another video. Thanks for watching and commenting! Be safe out there!
Great vid just found you recently searching Dagger vids. Love the honesty...no excuses, it is what it is. Us old guys need to stick together.... I'm 61. Love my Daggers, I have 3 and they're my EDC guns. One has a Holosun 507 reddot. I haven't shot it enough to trust being able to aim quickly in a life or death situation. As far as cleaning, in an interview many years ago, Rob Leatham said the only time he cleans his guns is before National/International championships. I've got about 1500 rds thru the 3 guns, and only about 150 thru the optic gun.
Thank you so much!! It took me a little bit to get used to the optic and being able to find the dot quickly but I knew the first time I shot it that once I got used to it ,it would be a game changer for me. I put a lot of rounds thru it quickly and just practiced bringing the gun up and having the dot there. One day it just clicks and that dot is there without even thinking about it. Oh to be younger again... I used to have strength and stamina to do anything I wanted but no money and time to do it. Now I got all the money and time I need to do anything but by the time I decide what I want to do.. I need a nap!! Lol
I just got mine Saturday. Ran 150 rounds through it Sunday and had 26 lite primer strikes. The real problem I have is at 10 yards it layer down a 2and a half to 3 ft. Group. Not just low left but all over. I also shot 3 other guns with the same ammunition with on issues. I really like the gun. Any ideas
@@jaycampbell2332 Wow ..sorry to hear that ! My first question is what ammo( not that it should matter but id like to know to test it)? Did you take it apart at all prior to shooting it? Did you clean it? Did you take it apart after? The big question is should you mess with it at all? I would call PSA before you mess with anything. But personally I would tear it down , check that the ejector and spring is installed correctly, then I'd pull the firing pin and inspect it and the spring. I'd clean it thoroughly and try again. I have ZERO tolerance for guns that don't go boom when they should , unless I could find a specific cause I would forever have doubts about it and because of that I would send it back. PSA's customer service has always been amazing for me. Keep me posted please ! If you have any questions taking it down I can help.
Hey, so re-reading your post about the accuracy issue as well I'm inclined to think you have a barrel issue , to cause both accuracy and light primer strikes it sounds like the bullet isn't seating in the chamber properly. Use EXTREME CAUTION shooting it until it get looked at.
I changed out my trigger to a oem loan wolf glock trigger and a zev pro connector.... man it made all the difference in the world. I dry fire my glock 19 and dagger side by side and it's exact. I like that
I haven't changed anything yet , I wanted a pure review with no changes. In the process, I guess between getting used to the stock trigger and it breaking in I've gotten really comfortable with it as is. That's just another great thing about the Dagger, it's a solid platform at half the price which leaves a ton of room in your wallet for upgrades if you want. Thanks for your comments and watching.
@@Urban_Tarzan I couldn't pass it up I bought the lower combo so $50 for the dagger lower and I paid $170 for the slide with a threaded barrel. I knew I didn't want to put much money into it but I'm telling you I think I paid $18 for the loan wolf trigger and It made this gun a keeper! I highly recommend it
@@mikehancho1613my dagger came in pulling 4.5lbs out of the box and broke in down to 4lbs after about 300 rounds. I had bought the shadow systems complete trigger kit when I bought my dagger. Not even going to install it. It’s actually a really nice solid carry trigger.
Good video thanks for posting. I shoot a CZ P10C with a holosun 507 and am finally getting the optic working in every time. I agree that cleaning is not required after every use . Mine gets a good cleaning about every 700-1000 rounds. I shoot with a group that shoots IDPA style courses every week so about once every 4 months it gets cleaned. Interestingly enough I will get one ejecting problem right after cleaning.
Thank you! It definitely takes a little time to get used to a red dot after shooting irons your whole life. 700-1000rnds is probably a better cleaning schedule but since I carry it every day in all types of weather and conditions and while doing work outside around the compound I do it more often. That's interesting about the ejection problem after cleaning, maybe the ejector or spring just doesn't seat right until it gets fired? But That's exactly why after a cleaning I shoot my guns, some tiny little error could be devastating . Thank you for the input , someone reading this may decide to shoot their gun after a cleaning and it just may save their life!
I'm pretty sure all glock Gen 3 parts will fit in the Dagger, getting a "new" Gun and already having the market flooded with parts and upgrades for it is a great reason to buy it. I haven't had any of the pins move at all and I've never had a mag drop out. There are a few videos out there showing this happening but they are all from when it was first released and there are very few. These guns sell out as fast as they get in stock, I don't know how many are in circulation now but it's gotta be a pretty substantial number and aside from those few issues early on , complaints/failures/flaws just don't exist with this gun. It's as solid a platform as any handgun I own. Thanks for watching!!
Great video. Looks like a Fugazie Glock 19!! Why the Dagger over the Glock what are the differences? Miss you from the North….Need more squirrel content!!
What's up "Big City" ! It's a whole thing why I got the Dagger, you gotta watch my other video for the whole story.. but basically I went thru the options of modifying another one of my guns to be suppressor ready vs buying another g19 and modifying that, then I went down the rabbit hole of switching to an optic as well and I came across the Dagger !! It came with the suppressor height sights/threaded barrel/ optic ready slide AND the optic !!! For $499!! It also came with a case and a mag! So I bought it ... I F'n love this gun!! Better than my g19's , ergonomically, felt recoil , etc etc
Ahhh.. triggers, don't get me started LOL! I can appreciate a great trigger and a great trigger can definitely improve your accuracy. On a precision rifle it can be a very pronounced difference, the 2 biggest factors being weight of pull and consistency. As you move away from precision rifle and go to a carry handgun those 2 factors still apply but weight of pull IMO is greatly limited how low you "should go", which leaves Consistency as your one major factor in judging a trigger and ironically its the one area that EVERY trigger review leaves out or barely touches on.. why? Because most modern triggers are consistent to such a degree that the difference is immeasurable by the average person.. all you should ever need is a good polishing of the eternals for smoothness with a factory consistent break ... the rest is purely personal preference and mental trickery. Thanks for the sub! I have a bunch of videos in the can for editing but I've doing a bathroom remodel this winter and haven't had time to edit .. they'll be up soon.
I can honestly say I cannot remember ever having a failure after cleaning , but it's one of those things where once you think about it or become aware of it you just can't shake it or feel comfortable without doing it. None the less I think it's a good practice if you have the means to do it. Thanks

I realize I'm not very good at it but I hope thru my flaws I am still sometimes able to provide info that may be helpful to someone or even entertaining. Haters are gonna hate and trolls are gonna troll ...it don't affect me one way or the another. I'm trying to get better but I never stop doing something just because I'm not good at it.
