Pixel is $900 and iPhone is $1100 in usd and the argument of iPhones getting more updates doesn't work anymore because pixel gets like what? 5 years of updates now? the smoothness and animations are pretty much on par with iOS this time around. Pixels are usually pretty great devices all around, and this 7 Pro seem one of their best iteration ever (especially considering how “reasonable” the price is compared to all the mainstream competition). If I ever go back to Android a Pixel will definitely be my choice, and you can clearly see how far optimization brings you: even with a “sub-par” SoC compared to the monster that A16 is, the Pixel can still keep up (and also other way around, with half the memory the iPhone can surpass it in ram management which is crazy).

    1. Stock keyboard doesn’t have a comma or a period button in the main keyboard. The only third party keyboard that I trust is fleksy and that one does have the comma and period, but it doesn’t have swipe gestures to type with swiping.
    2. Sometimes I open an image on Twitter or another app in full screen and then I want to go back. It doesn’t go back. I swipe from the left edge of screen to the middle and nothing, top to middle and nothing I have to actually kill the app to go back to the home page.
    3. Recently, apple really rushed things with the iOS 16. The focus mode keeps glitching and I have to restart my iPhone. That’s so annoying.
    4. There’s more but I’ll stop here.
The only thing I like about iPhone is that I feel better privacy wise, but I mean, there are ways to not be tracked on the android phones as well, but by default it does track you more than the iPhone.

For PUBG , it's not fair because it also needs to find a game(so technically if I do that on a crappy phone it could go faster than any of the two if I find a game instantly), not defending any of the two phones, but in this case the iphone only loads the pre-game map where has the pixel needs to load the actual map.

Loading things has nothing to do with the power of a processor alone; rather, that is entirely dependent on the ram and storage handshake between those and the processors and some are better at some tasks than others based on the optimisation and intensity of the app which is an oversimplification in of itself but ultimatley meaningless as far as pushing performance. Unfortunately, there's always going to be a bottleneck on mobile due to the battery and thermals, despite theoretical power thst could be achieved. Regardless, that's like comparing a 2k gaming PC and a regular office computer to see which one can load the calculator app faster, which is to say a pretty poor, unscientific benchmark of capabilities - not to mention an insult to intelligence.

In India Pixel 7 pro is 80, 000 .rs (975$) and iPhone 14 Pro is 180, 000 .rs ( 2,190$), buying pixel saves (1,215$), but if you wanna complain about the camera quality buy a 1000$ DSLR and still save 200$. Pixel is the best choice.
