I personally would have given the selfie point to iphone 14 pro, I feel like the facial recognition and software on the iphone front camera is really good at recognizing and focusing light on the face and it makes the picture more flattering. Especially around the eyes, I feel with the other two phones the eye area is covered in shadow and is generally darker, whereas on iphone the face is brightened up and you can actually see her eyes.

Best Camera phone is not the iPhone 14 pro max. Its the S23 Ultra. I can easily tell you only did mostly the talking lol. Someother people had the convincing decisions on the shots. And 8k quality is better than 14pro 4k.
Not often talked about feature of S23U is the selfie cam size. It has a substantial 1.4 um pixel size. Do what you want with trickery but the horsepower matters in the end.
while watching this and comparing my pixel to my bro s23 uktr and sister iphone 14 pro.. they admitted that google pixel rocks the world of photography 😉 thanks for this video..great job.. deserved a 👍..
Hello! First of all, that a comprehensive(almost) comparison and great job! 👍 However, I would advice you to add photo/video info (ISO(!), aperture, exposure etc) to at least, night shots, along with general cameras hardware\software info(max ISO, aperture etc). Comparing night shots noise without ISO has no sense since one phone raise ISO to max to minimise exposure time(since it handheld, right), while another keeps ISO at some reasonable value to maintain low noise at the cost of longer exposure.
How does the iPhone win when it lost nearly every photo comparison. The winner should be the one with the best overall results, and that's not the iPhone.
Congratulations for excelent review made and after effects on videos!. But I have a question. Did you use tripod to hold the phones? Wich test were did with tripod?
I watch this video after your other review in which you said you switched to the Samsung phone but ultimately you stayed with the iPhone because you like I are wrapped up in MacLand. I was going to go on a trip to Europe this fall and was hoping that I 15 Pro would ship before the end of September because I wanted to leave for the first time ever my Sony RX 100 M6 at home. That being the case that it might not ship, I decided maybe I should buy the Samsung. I’m going to wait a little bit but I don’t know if it’s worth $1000 just for the extra zoom but I can carry a slightly ever so slightly bulky or camera with me. Once again thanks for the fabulous work.
in pixel if you have options in settings like in gcams just increase the white level and dull photos will be vibrant without fear of over exposure and give me feedback
Got the S23U this week and I am sending it back and stick to my Pixel 7 Pro. No way the Ultra is 300 to 400 Euro better than the Pixel. I would also add Usability, Audio, Zoomed Video and "Other Functions" as categories. "Other functions" can include things like Cinematic Video, Action Pan, Long Exposure, Slow Motion. Also, I would like the Portrait category to not just be "Portrait mode" but mostly normal (non-artifcial) portraits.
Great suggestions, I will definitely keep that in mind! Thanks 😉😊
And that's why I own a Pixel 7 Pro it just makes you want to take more pictures of everything. Pixel King of Mobile Photography!
The true kings of mobile photography are the Chinese flagship devices with one inch sensors. By some margin.

@@oddbutfair Do what I did bro and search all comparisons out there on UA-cam featuring all the latest Chinese devices, especially when in comparisons involving any of the three phones here. There are so many of them. Photographically they are streets ahead, but never in video which is their collective weak point.
I suppose they take good pictures. But I have seen them laggy with video. I prioritize video more than photo, so that my bias. But you are correct, they take some good pictures.
@@oddbutfair that's funny because I do the opposite I take more pictures than video, on my social media you will see way more pictures posted than videos.
Awesome camera comparison, it's amazing to see the strengths and weaknesses of each phone side by side!👌
Great video. Would have been nice to see Samsung 4K video at 60fps as a comparison instead of the 8k at only 30fps.
Fr it's like she is trying so badly to make Samsung camera look worse
@Milu2786 Nope, she's not biased just watch the review of her of Samsung s23 ultra vs Iphone 14 pro max and you will be glad about that how samsung wins in every department. 😂
Hayls, first of Thank you for such a great video!
This comparison is by far the best and the most accurate because you know a thing or two about photography/ videography! Your reviews are generally on the spot!
You got it right at the Conclusion: You want a Video, details or quick shots!
Cheers!
great breakdown even though I knew the outcome. Once Google can get their video to their pic standards, these comparisons are really going to come down to what phone you like better overall
Reviews are not just talking but more about technical matters. so that the meaning of the thing being reviewed is conveyed clearly and understood by others. Congratulations Hayls World. By the way I am a Samsung user.
Really nice comparison, I have a 14 pro max and it's good to know how it compares to the competition ^^

Just understand samsung is great overall but photography has only one king from last 10 years and thats pixel

'Closest to real life' is not good, because photo is about art. We want result which looks artistic , we don't need result which closest to real life. Pixel7 sometimes overcontrast, like at 1:14, but you called it the best. Samsung is not oversaturated, it is enough and looks good. Your opinion is so weird as a tech UA-camr
Photography - Pixel
Videography - always Apple 🔥
Yea for sure!
Both- s23u🔥🔥
13 ultra is better than apple
You're forgetting about adjusting/tweaking brightness manually. etc, etc. Ur opinion is pretty biased ngl.
@@12rsz She was definitely paid by iPhone. She's not completely honest in this video and she knows it
It's really unbelivable that Pixel is the cheapest and still takes the best photos!
Yea
I just love you... Your delivery is top-notch.
Yay, finally the unbiased comparison. Thank you Hayl.
Unbiased? Nice joke
Excellent comparison video, thank you! I have a P7Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max, and I use the Pixel for photos and the iPhone for video. The only thing I can't stand on either is Portrait Mode, which I consequently never use.
First World Problems??
Amazing video! This is definitely the best comparison on UA-cam. Straight to the point and someone who knows what they're doing!
I don’t know nothing about photography but actually I liked the Pixel 7 Pro better, I was planning on getting the iPhone but now I think I’ll get the Pixel
Same confused
I m your milestone follower and like your tricky and informative videos 👍💖
I personally would have given the selfie point to iphone 14 pro, I feel like the facial recognition and software on the iphone front camera is really good at recognizing and focusing light on the face and it makes the picture more flattering. Especially around the eyes, I feel with the other two phones the eye area is covered in shadow and is generally darker, whereas on iphone the face is brightened up and you can actually see her eyes.
I'm still looking for the best smartphone for concerts video recording. 1. Best and largest optical zoom 2. Best stabilizer with hand recording (when I'm pushed around by the crowd of fans) 3. Best light correction when some strong light effects happen on stage, so that nothing is over- or underexposed. Any recommendations?
It'd be nice if you could get your hands on some of these Chinese options (specifically the big 3 - Oppo find x6 pro, Xiaomi 13 Ultra and Vivo x90 pro+) and bring them into these camera comparisons.
Really really great video. The descriptions are so detailed.
this was actually a real good comparison but i think its funny when people talk about s23 pictures poppin with their color saturation but when people edit their phones they usually edit them with high saturation so their pictures can pop lol
Nobody boosts the saturation…

great video, for most peoples needs for photo taking, then the pixel 7 pros quick shots will be the best camera/phone for them. If you are into video or pro modes then either of the other 2. If you don't have a huge budget then the pixel wins overall
WOW! Thank you Hayls for such a great review. It has been the best phone camera review I have ever seen. It was amazing!
In photography, pixel is on a whole other level . . .
Not compared to some Chinese flagships with one inch sensors it isn't. Now they truly ARE on another level photography wise.
@@neilmcguinness4422 which models to be specific?
@@Ducktility Xiaomi 12S Ultra and Xiaomi 13 Pro, Oppo Find X6 Pro and Vivo X90 Pro and X90 Pro+. Japanese firm Sharp have the Aquos R7 with a one inch sensor but I don't know anything about how this device performs camerawise.
@@neilmcguinness4422 Thanks, are the former ones better than Pixel 7 pro?
@@Ducktility They do make their sensor size advantage tell for sure in my opinion, but they lack the Pixel's software polish in some scenarios. I would like to see what Google could achieve with a one inch sensor.

Question is, how can u make the apple 14 pro max any better? The s23 ultra any better? What is considered perfect? I'm not spending 2k on a 1tb flagship until all the kinks are worked out
First time I see you. Nice video and amazing editing. Congratulations
Best Camera phone is not the iPhone 14 pro max. Its the S23 Ultra. I can easily tell you only did mostly the talking lol. Someother people had the convincing decisions on the shots.
And 8k quality is better than 14pro 4k.
Totally agree
No doubt
Nope it's the 14 pro max
Your Usual explain is better than others.
Thank you so much Darling 📍
Not often talked about feature of S23U is the selfie cam size. It has a substantial 1.4 um pixel size.
Do what you want with trickery but the horsepower matters in the end.

while watching this and comparing my pixel to my bro s23 uktr and sister iphone 14 pro..
they admitted that google pixel rocks the world of photography 😉
thanks for this video..great job.. deserved a 👍..
Hayls never disappoints . very informative video Enjoy your vedios Love from India ❤️
Appreciate it so much Syed! And love from the UK 🇬🇧 🤗
Narhh let's be fair this review is biased and feel like she's not being true...she better try better next time and stop favouritism
Hello!
First of all, that a comprehensive(almost) comparison and great job! 👍
However, I would advice you to add photo/video info (ISO(!), aperture, exposure etc) to at least, night shots, along with general cameras hardware\software info(max ISO, aperture etc).
Biased for sure
Because it’s the best.
Watch till the end dummy
She's just biased or a solid iphone fan😂😂
She is a woman so it is automatically a solid fan of Iphone😂
Congratulations for excelent review made and after effects on videos!. But I have a question. Did you use tripod to hold the phones? Wich test were did with tripod?
Samsung lover... s23 ultra
iphone 15 pro max solos
Hopefully samsung will soon update and make camera even better
Awesome comparison video, i had fun watching this one. More power!
S23 ultra always 👑 king
Everyone is watching the comparison, but only I am watching you. You beauty❤❤❤❤❤❤
It seem es like Sumsung was always second. Which makes it a good compromise
in pixel if you have options in settings like in gcams just increase the white level and dull photos will be vibrant without fear of over exposure and give me feedback
Got the S23U this week and I am sending it back and stick to my Pixel 7 Pro. No way the Ultra is 300 to 400 Euro better than the Pixel. Pixel has worse battery life and hardware on paper, however feels so much better in daily use. And in terms of photos the S23 takes way too much fiddling to get good shots.
You're confused 😇
Bros tripin 💀
@@Wyn3e if you have compared both phones first hand and picked your phone based on that more power to you. If you are just another guy who is dick riding stat sheets without any first hand experience please refrain from commenting 😘
Bro?
Pixel > s23u and I have both
Before blaming the phone or camera.. lets consider what the most of the people turn a blind eye on.. the person behind the camera.. correct settings.. for a photo.. and also experience. Eye sight colour correction or visibility also personal preference...
This video is clearly biased.
we are in the social media era, so what matters is how is the video/photo quality when uploaded on instagram stories for example. Unfortunalty, i can say that for the past years iphone is always the winner although i have been always a sony/android user, but we have to admit it. On social media no one beats iphone. Please make a similar comparison but after uploading videos to social media. Thumbs up so she does for us the always asked test!
iphone got too many points for video, its little silly :) comparison is beautiful, scoring not that good tbh:) S23 ultra has the best camera and its not even close, second place is Pixel 7 pro and your winner should be last to be fair
S23 doesn’t have the best camera according to DXOMark

I think Samsung is having more better potrait mode and also stabilisation
This was a really cool video. I just enjoyed watching it. lol Love the way you made this.
You know pixel 7 pro came really far as it cost half the price of others.
I'm more of a picture person when it comes to phone. When videoing I have my mirror less camera for videos etc. But the S23 ultra will be the one I choose when I upgrade I had the pixel 7 pro in mind but when I switch from my S21 ultra I'll get the S23 ultra. Thank you for this video

Brilliant review. As a video creator I may have to be biased with the iPhone 14. they did a great job in this area.
Love my p7pro. My only complain is the G2, because it lacks some efficiency. But I paid for it 800€ for the 256gb version, with free buds a and official cover. What could I ask more?
