The 5.0 is only safe upto about 750 whp if you want reliability. Sure there are lots running over 800 whp but they do not seem to stay on UA-cam very long, eitber out of $ or broken car and out of $

@@MasterCarguy44-pk2dq The new motors can handle 900 whp all day long. The Gen 1 could only handle 750 whp but not the newer motor.

No roll bar? Under 11 requires it I believe... And who did the built bottom end and built trans? Can't get into the 9.5 or less zone and be reliable without those areas being built and at least 1000 whp. Sad because Ford ran 10.7@130 with one of their first 2015 5.0 testers, with a few bolt ons, slicks no mufflers, manual trans and a new for Ford "Roush Supercharger", no more Ford sponsored Whipple at 675 crank hp.

Cool car, but those super high RPM burnouts are unnecessary, and hard on the motor. Low RPM burnout ftw.
Whys that? Is it just because its near redline? Or does it have to do with the fact that its spinning the tires?
@@Matt-lf1ik No load RPM is murder on an engine. Low RPM burnouts get the job done, without being hard on the engine.

@@Matt-lf1ik The reason is, it's more strain on rod bolts, which could either cause them to fail completely.....or cause them to stretch enough to let the bearings walk.

@@scottrichardson4769 What transmission you using ?
morrellification its the stock 10r80 with upgraded clutches on stock count and a circle d converter. The car actually would of went faster but anything more then 10psi before the 1/& the trans wouldn’t shift. So after the 3-4 shift I’d bump up set points and increase boost. Regardless trans needs increased clutch count and it’ll be an animal.

Somebody help me out here. Is or isn't Bud's Creek an NHRA track? If so..... How is it that they allow racers down the track with no chute or cage and doing 8's at 158 mph? You're lucky to have made it to the end of the year. Personally what ever license you have should be taken from you. Your lack of proper safety equipment not only put you at risk but first responders other racers and fans as well. Nice going. Also shame on the track for allowing it in the first place
