Field of Reeds, is there anywhere I can pay for high quality downloads of your covers like these? Simply beautiful work, this does Okami justice. I have bought nearly all Okami/Okamiden albums and this deserves to sit alongside them. This is the kind of work that can really overwhelm a man and change him forever.
The first time I came to old Kamiki village in my first playthrough of the game. I felt all the sad and lonely emotions that was played in the song, I imagined how alone and isolated Amateratsu must have felt when she was shrianuri. This song is one of my favorite songs in the game and is still my inspiration to this day.
One of the two saddest songs in the game, the other being Reset (thank you). But this is so beautiful and I can't express how much I love the game and this cover.
Oh, that was awesome. The way you used the shinobue and plucked strings--it reminded me of Pokemon 2000 Lugia's Theme. I love the fragility of this song, although a do wish it had a bigger buildup; however, you might have neglected that on purpose to fit your vision. Regardless, awesome work! I'll look forward to more!

Ack, I'm not sure how I missed this! I could have sworn I subscribed forever ago, but apparently not. Okami's one of my favorite game soundtracks of all time. This does it justice.

Thank you for your great feedback! I can see how the piece could go either way, actually... I took a pretty literal approach since it's a rather solemn moment in the game, but maybe I should try a bit more freedom in arranging now and then. I'll keep it in mind for the future, and thanks again :D
