He definately has. When he first started we could easily write him off as just an irritating intern who was always puppy dogging after the attendings, or too scared to step up when needed too. He has developed into a very empathetic character who definately is willing to help shoulder others emotional trauma.
Thank God for Schmitt! Bailey needed someone to help her see that she needs a break and time to grieve. She has been trying to avoid it and not feel it.
That's basically Bailey feeling guilty for not believing deluca when he was telling the truth she blame the way he was acting on his mental illness treating him like he was crazy which was not coo
Idk, this gave me a george x bailey vibe (when bailey had to give birth). He is so kind to Bailey and realises how sad she is and talk to her, even though he knows she doesn't really 100% want to.
Also tbh his character arc could've been George's OG arc instead of that izzy fiasco...George coming to terms with his sexuality would've been hella plausible than whatever him and Izzy were forced to do @@kcmac66
Shiva is very important, the process and the rules , guidelines of how to be there for someone , and laws about not being alone and not doing work. It's very healing and meditative
I did that a few times. Towards the start of all this my sister had a very rough time at work. She works at a vet clinic, and is considered essential. And she also hates hugs. So I tried the standing back to back with her, hoping she would feel a bit better. And she did.
I think she feels guilty because when he first was trying to tell her and the other doctors about the woman sex traffiker nobody believed him. She put him in a sanitarium. If she'd a listened to him he would still be alive and that woman wouldve been arrested. Her being chief Bailey hasn't always made the right choices because the power trip was getting to her. She was better when she was just an attending. The position isn't for everybody. If you let it it can take over your body mind and soul
I kinda disagree though yes she does feel bad about Deluca’s death and she hasn’t always made the right decisions which is a human thing to do, Deluca however did have a mental illness and Bailey has always led and been a great child because she always led with a heart and with logic.
She didn't put Deluca anywhere, he wasn't admitted. Plus, he said it himself on the station 19 episode-he wasn't well when that girl came to the hospital, he was in a bad state of mania and because of that it was hard for people to believe him, even Carina didn't. It wasn't Bailey's fault and it's definitely not her fault that he is dead. He was heroic and all, but it was his choice to go after that Opal, no one made him chase a dangerous sex trafficker with no back up.
And she’s learning all of that and owning up to her own mistakes and becoming a better person for it. She’s always been that type of person, and that’s what I absolutely love about her.
Levi has become so wise since we first met him! His growth is severely under appreciated

His kindness reminds me so much of Grorge...
Maggie is amazing - she understood that the psychological pian needs treatment just as much as a physical wound would
Exactly, if somebody tells me again she’s stupid or annoying I might actually punch them

Schmitt reminded me so much of George in this scene...💛 007
"We throw ourselves in front of busses to save the lives of complete strangers. You'll never measure up to the ones we've lost."
Lol I commented this just now, i should have seen this comment. It's so true!! They gave me the same vibe (like bailey when giving birth)
Noooo
Scmitt is so much better!
he probably reminds her of george as well
I need more Helm, she has the potential to be an amazing character 😭
Yes and what happend with parker? I like him so much.
no fr!
@@Floyzl Yes Parker, I loved that character, hoped he’d get a bigger role.
Love her,
Parker the hacker 😂
Levi has such a strong character arc. He could have just been "Glasses" but he is so much more and it's down to the amazing writing. #proud
The scene between Helm and Maggie broke my heart.
Currently crying

I said this lastnight while watching 😭 I ugly cried lastnight
Exactly was all her fault that’s why she’s feeling so guilty, she couldn’t even say sorry to him when they found out he was right!!!
In her defense he was definitely acting crazy.
Levi and Maggie are both so sweet and kind... My top favourites. I love them so much! ❤❤❤
Yeah and they're very underappreciated. I love both too.

George would've been his friend.

Levi should get his own show, he is amazing.
He is like George ❤️
he really felt the same like george x bailey when giving birth

Schmidt and Helm this episode!!! they out did themselves.
Levi better not leave I really really REALLY want him become an attending he deserves it
You're not alone. I got your back. Good job, Maggie 😃
I love this idea specially in this time that you can't hug
Right! This was powerful!
Did any body notice the parallel when Cristina said how jewish traditions are when someone died to izze when denny died the now levi
That's because the Jewish tradition didn't change from season 3.. It's not like Grey's anatomy invented it.
The way Levi starts off the conversation with “I’m a bad Jew” and then Bailey’s face just scrunches a bit in confusion, it’s so funny
this scene made me cry ;(
I swear that has eternal wisdom

I hear bits of George in this speech.. towards the end when he is talking about his mom and Bailey losing her mom.
Ok this had me crying 😭
This will be a moment I come back to watch time and time again.
Reminds me of Denny’s Shiva

Can someone explain what Maggie did? Is it like letting someone lean on your shoulder to cry?
The gift of human touch
Sometimes it's the small things that people need, like a shoulder to lean on in the middle of a pandemic , physical touch is important
