Maybe this video can help me if I should get an Arcade Stick. My reason is I used one to play SF at the arcades then when the home version was available I obviously switched to that and to save money of course. However, on both I had no issues doing moves at all even shoryuken's on P1 and P2 sides the D-pad on the SNES was great but my weakness was always pressing the 3 button's and always wondered if the Genesis 6 button controller version would be better looking how it was laid out. Then the PS1 came out and the D-pad was a none issue again doing shoryuken's no problems but again the 3 button was my weakness. My coordination was very high back then as I would test myself at the arcades against folks and still beat guys other fighters too like Samurai Showdown and shiet not just SF when I would be playing the home version for a long time. I then stopped sometime on PS2 or PS3 I forgot and now I'm taking up fighting games again and I am struggling doing shoryuken's on my 8 bit pro Xbox control on the fly in P1 but I am a little better on P2. Right now I have no interest in Tekken like I use to but maybe later on I can comeback to that series as I find Soul Caliber more interesting then it at the moment as I had a lot of fun with that game with my friends back then. Using the analog stick increases my chances of pulling it off but not suitable when I am being pressed with pressure from the CPU. I can only imagine how much I would suck against a human opponent. My speed has decreased on dealing with attacks from jumpers to me I've noticed when I would easily shoryuken the opponent or use a normal uppercut or roundhouse kick. Like shiet you think an arcade stick would help me on my situation? This fukkin sucks cuz I think I just suck now. Been playing the Steam SF 30th collection, SNK vs Capcom SVC Chaos, Capcom Fighting Collection, and waiting on Marvel vs Capcom to be released. I f'n suck on all of them even on the original SF2 Turbo which I expect but it's happening on World Warrior too on 5/6 star difficulty when I would easily get perfects and not lose rounds even at the arcade I got nearly one time perfects on all except on M.Bison who either hit me once or I blocked his move that took HP at max difficulty. I find myself switching during the fights on the controller from D-pad to analog stick in the hopes of pulling off shoryuken's or at least a normal uppercut or standing kick or roundhouse to keep the CPU at bay and not to be caught slippin and being at the corner. I don't want to use the newbie shiet of putting moves on Ltrigger or Rtrigger either. Now I am pressing the continue button over 20 times now. It's been just 2 weeks but I haven't been like on it on it practicing I just play a few hours and comeback days later. My performance just sucks This is f'n depressing LOL...
the reason you are struggling to do any inputs on the left side is because you always have a grip on your stick. try only pushing your stick to the left with your thumb while your other fingers hover. theres a lot of videos online but heres a good one to show you what i mean ua-cam.com/video/tcDBlWMgSak/v-deo.html
The hitbox (the complete pad I guess you're referring to) is banned from Tekken because it is overpowered. You can input combos at a better rate and efficiency. The analog stick although hard to master, is really satisfying. I'm saying this because I got one yesterday and it feels great. So, if you want somewhat of an easy yet worthy experience, you can go for the hitbox. If you want to challenge yourself a bit and want satisfaction and a worthy experience, go for the analog
leverless is the easiest way of inputting, and the one thing that requires next to no learning or mastering. it's also basically cheating because instead of a d-pad or stick, you just use buttons. so it's not that it feels natural to use a leverless hitbox, it's the same as comparing a manual fuel driven car to a purely automatic electric one.
Hi, you're technique is way off. Sure you got better, but that's just getting muscle memory and/or getting used to the stick. I guess based on the video, you shouldn't mindlessly practice even if you do it everyday.
I have very wide hands so a dpad didn't cut it after I was 16. The lever itself being larger makes it easier for my hands to be very precise without feeling strained and it also feels plain nice especially when I put the bat top and octagon gate in. I started with a mayflash f300 elite then moved into the f500 elite, and now I'm using a qanba pearl.
@@sal8534 CAN U HELP ME? I CANT USE DASH FSAT WITH CONTROLLER. I WANT TEST STICK BUT IDK START WITH WICH ONE.ALSO NEED START WITH LOW PRCIE. Do you have a suggestion for what I should buy?
Great videos man! Seems like you’re really passionate about arcade games as a whole, you love to see it!
Bro was doing PEWGF and called it cheating 😂😂😂 That’s funny
He wasn’t doing any perfects, it’s just the electric shortcut with the mist step
@Sin-pt2eq Oh shit okay I forgot everybody is carried in this game. I've never played Reina and didn't even know that, that was a thing.
Nah he was doing pewgf, look at his inputs they are no df 3 (input for wind god step)
@@Meech_TK Nah it's only Kazuya and Reina that have those inputs instead of the full motion of F,N,D,DF+2 it's F,N,DF+2 I think that's what he meant.
I bought a leverless, my colleague are really into to tekken they even bought me a copy. I just can’t get my fingers right.
Good job with the videos so far man 🙏🏼
Eventually making the change. But I want to be able to be as good as I am on a controller
It's been 1 month since this comment, how are you know with the arcade stick?
It's been 5 months since you made this comment. Have you purchased/built/stolen an arcade stick yet?
I want to be better
Yeah I kind of just play on both until I can gradually get to where I want to be

@@yagamilight733 could you. Name some good ones to get both variants I play on series x but I’ll soon buy tekken for pc
@@yagamilight733I dunno where you heard leverless was banned from Tekken. After a quick google I found no such rule.
@@yagamilight733? Hitbox isnt banned from tekken and people play with it online. Unless ur talking about tournament play

Perfect electric means frame perfect input. He just skipped the down

If he likes it and it feels good for him its right 😊
fake video. this guy has been using a fightstick for a while.
Using a arcade stick is literally impossible
Why?
I can’t get a good grip movement suck and I find it impossible to use
