Yo man, whats up!! Here's the picture. Me and this friend of mine we constantly play nfsu2 online, and I mean, we play A LOT, and sometimes we wish it had more circuit tracks. This friend of mine said that he has able to find the files that belongs to each track there is in the game, but he couldnt do anything to change from sprint to a circuit track which all the barriers would be in a positiom of my liking, you know, it gets boring sometimes racing the same tracks over and over and over again. There are all kinds of mods out there for u2, yet I havent seen a mod with new tracks. A mod like that, for players who race online, like me, would be really sweet, you know what I mean? Do you think its possible, man? Hell you can even pass this idea along to anyone that may be able to pull this off. Please man, replie my comment, I wanna know what you think. I'll be waiting your reply on this, man. Cheers

Why no old redline sound on Tiburon after the upgrade? :/ Its my favourite thing about mid-upgrade 3000GT and upgraded Tiburon, this redline sound that also Eclipse 4G got in MW05. Why you insist on lamer and less characterful redline bounce sounds? :/
You still didnt fix Escalade and Navigator :/ These two use the sounds in reverse order. Stock should the the extreme upgrade (Stock sound for Escalade and Navigator was always the upgraded, aggressive one and it turned to lame lazy stock sound with upgrades, while Hummer H2 got the same sound as Mustang after upgrades). Fix this.... you already did move sounds around the upgrades for other cars, why not do it in most glaring case of it...
In NFSMW 2005 the Viper's engine sound is recorded from a BMW M5 E60 with the S85b50 engine but it's not fully recorded to the 8250 RPM. If you have time & ok with that could you please do it?!
turbo? for sure, if anything i've made my own custom turbo sounds, but decided not to use them in the mod 'cause it would make things more complicated to showcase, so that'll be something separated shifing gears? mmmm probably, haven't looked into it but i think there may be something for that, just never crossed my mind at all to be honest
@@paburrito do you think it would be possible to fix shift sounds related to frame rate? example here : google [NFSU2] slow gearbox in high FPS, it's on the github of widescreen fix
There is a way to change the turbo sound using the stock files. You use that nfs sound editor and swap around the sounds for different cars/turbo upgrades. For custom sounds I'm not sure though. Hope i could help
I wonder, are you able to combine engine sounds? I kinda feel like the Surpa 2jz needs a bit of the lower tones from the Audi TT VR6 and then after like 4500rpm it goes into the higher tones of the 2jz engine... Also are you able to change the Rev limiter sounds? Like add some anti lag or pops and bangs
meshing engine sounds is something i'm not really too keen on doing since it's pretty time consuming, can be done but i'll have to think about it down the lane, as for rev limiters? yeah i can, RX7 and Focus extreme engines is something i can change, BUT sadly can't change pops and bangs since they're on another set of files and i haven't even gotten near to touch them, and i feel the anti-lag mechanic is something that needs to be coded in the game and not just something sound wise
Why are a lot of cars revving way higher than their original engines? I mean, an rb revving ti 10k stock looks weird (also the sound does not match to the rpm)
That’s just the game’s fault, even in the original version they had the engine rpm go all the way up to 9 or 10k rpm, in reality, a heavily modified engine can and a lot of times will reach that high rpm, but the engine sounds they recorded only reached up to 6.5, 7 and in some cases 8k rpm and 9 and 10k on a very few other ones, hence the mismatch between rpm on the tachometer and the rpm of the sound Edito: also ECU upgrades in game raises the tachometer’s redline and all cars had the ecu fully upgraded and i recorded the engine runs from stock to extreme upgrade
how about a tutorial on how to install mod? because when I first install the Car Sound Tuner by nlgzrgn...and then swap it for pabloracer, everything is fine...but when I swap the ‘Engine’ basic folder for the pabloracer (Engine) folder ...the game loads endlessly and nothing moves....
And the matter about Olympic Imports - it will only affect Subaru (extreme), and the rest of the cars in the volume balancing only (this only happened due to the use of shared files)
I wonder... any chance you might make this for the Olympic Imports cars? They all fit the UG2 vibe perfectly and it'd be nice to see what you cook up for them if you'd be willing to do it. (I have no expectation for "yes")
actually is not out of the question to try and expand to Olympic Imports, the problem is that, with the cars they add into the game, have 1 engine sound per upgrade is gonna go over the limit of what the base mod can allow (CarSoundTuner), i'm already stretching thin the limits of the mod, so unless the creator of said mod can release an upgrade for more than 100 engine sounds, we're gonna be stuck where we are, i'm not opposing to the idea but i'm limited by other technical factors outside my reach unfortunately
@@paburrito Oh wow, so it's just a technical limitation at the moment. Huh, awesome to know! What if it was a separate pack? Would that get around it somewhat for the time being?
@@Choccykituwu doubtful, the base mod is around the vanilla cars so even if i try to make it like a “olympic import cars edition” it would still be touching the same files, rendering v4 useless, technically you can but it involves changing filenames and ids per car to match the new ones, but we’re going back to the technical limitations mentioned previously
I think the only problem I have is that with some cars (Focus and the R34), the RPMs and the engine sounds seems out of sync. Like at 6000 RPM, it sounds like it's 4000, then at 6200, it sounds like 7
bear in mind that the rpm shown in the video is the vanilla that the devs put in the game, and many such cases, the rpm shown doesn't match the rpm of the audio at all, and this is pretty much for all the cars in the game, i could try and change those values but that means modifying a global file that's outside the sound mod, which.. if you're using other mods, it could potentially break said mods, that's why i didn't change the RPM values so this mod could play nicely with the other ones, in short, this was the devs decision and not mine, otherwise, i would've fixed the RPM scaling since version 1 of my mod
Bro came back with a banger. Also just curious, what's the name of the file used for the Skyline extreme package sound?, as in, where do I find it in the Pro Street files?
@@polar-izer I'm aware of that detail, but for the sake of simplicity i simply decided to use the same 2j for both cars, mainly 'cause i already had a decent selection of engine sounds for the Supra, and trying to find the correct engine for the 2j ge 1) would've been a massive pain in the ass to find in it's stock, slightly and heavily tuned state, and 2) very likely wouldn't sound nearly as good as the Supra does, since these sounds and in racing games in general that takes audio seriously, they record the engine sounds in a hub dyno in a sound isolated place to get that crips audio... stuff that dyno runs on youtube very rarely have, so... audio is mostly shit

@@molder-s2k that's absolutely not true though. By now, I've made my own Skyline sound by using his "V3 Extreme" version and properly pitching it. Then adjusted the rpm in the correlated script files and it was done. Now, the extreme Skyline has the same tonal height at 9k rpm, just like it should.

BUT.... but this looks and SOUNDS great already and this kinda encourages me to mod this game on my PC sometime down the line.
the RX7 Extreme Package IS the RX8's 3 Rotor engine from MadMike's actually, didn't use it on the RX8 to not be too repetitive, but i'll look into it, i'm happy that you liked the mod enough to get inspired as well c:
@@paburrito I would suggest to transfer the mad mike sound to rx8's extreme package, and make the rx7's the 787 4 rotor

Many thanks for keeping my favorite game alive ❤ The sounds are awesome, but they are a bit more on the robotic / treble heavy side in my opinion. However, great work!
Welcome back. Waaah i am so glad i searched your name. I saw a video of the modpack but then i scrolled down and saw the video. Thank you so freaking much you legend for making the sound overhaul. I will for sure try this when i am able to play the game again. NUUU COYOTEEE LOL. All of them sound freaking amazing, Some are ok but sound better, Some are Vanilla but again sound better. A must have mod for me. Will be sure to have this everytime i install/play UG2. Thank you again Pabloracer or Paburrito. I have subscribed too. Have a good one man 👍✌️
lol for a second i thought people were making videos of V4 already, 'cause i know a guy who's been mad farming it, but i'm glad you finally found the source, and really happy you still like and enjoy it for what it is, and correct, several of the sounds are still the vanilla ones, just adjusted some values to remove that synth sounding engine when you're on higher gears, so every engine sounds as raw as it gets without getting too annoying either c:
@@paburrito Yes the synth sound, It's gone and that's good, I am glad it sounds raw. Perfect and amazing
Glad to see you back @paburrito 🤩 I can't wait to experience your new sound mod in the actual game. 😍
And now i need to get ug2 working on my pc again 😅
Fantastic job
what the hell is this rx7. ur the best of the best mate
Glad to see you back, my friend. Thank you so much for this mod, your work is fantastic.
The RX7 extreme engine sound is straight up ASMR for car lovers, And I love it!
That's Cool man, keep it up! (new subs for ya)
te amo bro el sonido de los 3 rotores en el rx7 es lo mejor que existe, sos un dios!
39:20 Considering how in the base game the Skyline Extreme engine sounds like the 4AGE from the AE86 I had a feeling it would be a tricky one
In the base game extreme skyline, supra and rotaries uses Ferrari 360 sound
41:31 RX-7 Beast machine 😳😳🔥🔥🔥🔥🤯
UG2 really needs that more aggressive gear change presentation from MW05/ProStreet. Its just so static and uneventful when driving, visually...
In that case, it's not only the sounds that need to be edited, but also the cars themselves in the game, and that requires a separate mod.
That 5 cylinder sound is f ing sick i love it
Bruh, I literally choking while hearing those 20B at 41:33. (Bad habits of mine watching YT while eating LOL).
Can't believe i'm actually seeing you update these sound just as i thought the V3 is good enough.
Just wondering tho, Why there's no one like literally no one mod these sounds to NFSU1? Is it entirely different file? Honestly the only i hate about NFSU1 are the inacurate engine sound like 1 engine sound are mostly shared with anothers.
Cheers bro 🍺
Hahaha be careful man, and I’m happy you liked it
And yeee i thought v3 was good enough but was bothered that some cars had some artifaction, after i found a program someone made to create the files the game uses, I decided to give it a go once again, and have everything be done from scratch, everything worked to perfection afterwards
As for NFSU1 im afraid it won’t be possible, the way U1’s sound system is different that U2 so it’s an entirely different process
Thanks for the reply bro, It's good you're back on the set. I'm really happy that you got your motivation back thanks to the easier tool to worked with. This mods so good i might actually gave NFSU2 another shot. Keep up the good work brother.🙌🏻🔥
@@paburrito Ahh i see. And since the "Olympic Imports" are exist, People just lose interest at NFSU2 altogether. You have Dodge Neon, Both Honda Integra and Honda S2000 even an NSX. Damn i really love the NFSU2 modding community.
Unfortunately, all these great sounds are annihilated by the horrendous "HAAAughhhhhh" NFSU2 makes its engine audio script do when shifting gears. I don't suppose that's also possible to somehow alter as well? I really want to enjoy these properly, but I can't stand the gear shifts in particular
I could listen to this video while laying in bed. You know what? That's exactly what I'm going to do tonight 😊 NFSU2 ASMR 👌
Oh and I'm going to install this mod ASAP ofcourse 😁
that RX-7 sounds HOT
I wish have a mod like that for Underground Rivals.
I just hope these beautiful sounds work well during drag racing. I will test them there soon and will report the result in the "upd" footnote.
Oh shit, i just woke up, the hell? OH FUCK, NEW SOUND PACK?
Absolute masterpiece.
I can imagine Equestria Girls use these type of cars including DLC pack mods.
2JZGE in IS300 is also a VVT-I kind.
Yo man, whats up!! Here's the picture. Me and this friend of mine we constantly play nfsu2 online, and I mean, we play A LOT, and sometimes we wish it had more circuit tracks. I thoutght to myself "maybe my friend expert in mods (someone I met on gameranger) could make some changes in the files and maybe would be possible to change the sprints races into circuit races just by changing the places of the barriers. In a few words: I draw a brand new circuit on the map, and the barriers would be relocate accordingly with the drawing that I made so a sprint track can become a circuit track. I'll be waiting your reply on this, man. Cheers
Best you can do i can imagine would be going to the nfsmods.xyz discord server and ask for info on how it can be done, cause I don’t think its just “draw an image of the circuit” and then the game does the rest by itself
@@paburrito no, of course not. it cant be done just by drawing, what I meant was to do this by messing with the files, scripts, binary, that kinda stuff in the directory s game
I guess you know what I meant. To create new circuit tracks from sprints races. Thats all I wanted

Tiburon extreme engine sound like it’s recorded on early 2000’s camera

The rx7 limiter sounds just like the ones in torque drift

Why no old redline sound on Tiburon after the upgrade? :/ Its my favourite thing about mid-upgrade 3000GT and upgraded Tiburon, this redline sound that also Eclipse 4G got in MW05. Why you insist on lamer and less characterful redline bounce sounds? :/
Puta merda! nem tava esperando! pack tá muito foda!!!
oi mano, sabe me dizer como eu posso instalar? já vi o tutorial mas não conseguir instalar
I wish seeing the same mods but on most wanted 2005
it's going to be crazy 🎉
Great job man
You still didnt fix Escalade and Navigator :/ These two use the sounds in reverse order.
18:38 sounds like a nissan gtr r35 imo
is actually from an Infinity G35 that wasn't used in NFS Most Wanted due to licensing issues i pressume
Huh. Fun fact. @@paburrito
@@paburritorather, it was unused due to the cancellation of Nissans (which at that time ALREADY belonged to Renault lol)
In NFSMW 2005 the Viper's engine sound is recorded from a BMW M5 E60 with the S85b50 engine but it's not fully recorded to the 8250 RPM. If you have time & ok with that could you please do it?!
That's cool bro keep going !
Welcome back
Since it is an engine sound mod, my question would be, is it also possible to change the turbo and the sound when shifting gears?
turbo? for sure, if anything i've made my own custom turbo sounds, but decided not to use them in the mod 'cause it would make things more complicated to showcase, so that'll be something separated
shifing gears? mmmm probably, haven't looked into it but i think there may be something for that, just never crossed my mind at all to be honest
Hope i could help
that 4age sounds damn near like a rotary 🔥
idk why but when i try to open nfsmods it says server not found
19:49 Aston Martin swapped Hyundai 🙏😭💀 (bro ngl fits soooooo fucking good that sound)
Finally that Prelude engine is replaced from the RSX!
And was replaced by S2000 heh
@@sueaga It's still better than that weak-sounding Prelude.
@@diablow1411 In the end it even sounds quite plausible
@@paburrito I will say, I really like the RSX street package engine sound is just perfect😅 real Honda boy leaving it on Rev limiter for couple seconds

40:23 sounds better than the last update
I literally just finished watching version 3 when I found this lol
hahaha grab it while it's fresh out of the oven still!
Welcome back!
Boom bam baby! we're so back with this one! x3
Why are a lot of cars revving way higher than their original engines? I mean, an rb revving ti 10k stock looks weird (also the sound does not match to the rpm)
That’s just the game’s fault, even in the original version they had the engine rpm go all the way up to 9 or 10k rpm, in reality, a heavily modified engine can and a lot of times will reach that high rpm, but the engine sounds they recorded only reached up to 6.5, 7 and in some cases 8k rpm and 9 and 10k on a very few other ones, hence the mismatch between rpm on the tachometer and the rpm of the sound
Edito: also ECU upgrades in game raises the tachometer’s redline and all cars had the ecu fully upgraded and i recorded the engine runs from stock to extreme upgrade
It’s so cool ! 😮
how about a tutorial on how to install mod? because when I first install the Car Sound Tuner by nlgzrgn...and then swap it for pabloracer, everything is fine...but when I swap the ‘Engine’ basic folder for the pabloracer (Engine) folder ...the game loads endlessly and nothing moves....
Still keeping fingers crossed for underground 1
Does including all cars? I mean Usa and Euro version also Olumpic Imports?
In that order, yes and no
Yes, this also affects Euro cars (only in terms of volume balancing)
@@paburrito Oh well, was worth asking. Guess just gotta hope for a 100+ engine sound limit update then.
@@Choccykituwu mhmm
Make car sounds for UG2 tutorial when?
I think the only problem I have is that with some cars (Focus and the R34), the RPMs and the engine sounds seems out of sync. Like at 6000 RPM, it sounds like it's 4000, then at 6200, it sounds like 7
bear in mind that the rpm shown in the video is the vanilla that the devs put in the game, and many such cases, the rpm shown doesn't match the rpm of the audio at all, and this is pretty much for all the cars in the game, i could try and change those values but that means modifying a global file that's outside the sound mod, which.. if you're using other mods, it could potentially break said mods, that's why i didn't change the RPM values so this mod could play nicely with the other ones, in short, this was the devs decision and not mine, otherwise, i would've fixed the RPM scaling since version 1 of my mod
man did you know why the game its start crash and force close when i use the RX8? i cant use the rx8 when i use extreme engine
I loved it, but I thought in rx7 would be a 4 rotor and 350z sound more like DK's 350z
Speaking about 4 rotors - I have one idea in mind - the only problem remains is to get suitable samples
Is300 / supra sound mod sounds more like Rb26 btw, I mean stock package ofc
The stock is exactly the sound from the 2JZ-GTE with near-the-stock exhaust
Bro came back with a banger.
Also just curious, what's the name of the file used for the Skyline extreme package sound?, as in, where do I find it in the Pro Street files?
Actually sound 09 aka nis_sky_a, EA tended to remake some files that were initially well done
added to what Sueaga said, in specific is the car_009_2_exhaust_1
It needs new transmission sounds. The engine sounds dont match the transmission noise at all.
The is300 is running a 2jz gte, not a 2jz ge. It doesn't have the twin turbos and a few other things, the sc300 is the lexus with the 2jz ge.
I may have said this the wrong way, but... the IS and supra do not run the same engine. The SC has the same engine as the supra.
Where do we throw it for the crack production game? Or does crack also work?

Most cars got better, new RX-7 is 🔥
Unfortunately, the Skyline got worse imho. For now, I'll switch to the V3 version from backup for the "extreme" sound. Is there a reason why it's always the Skyline that sounds like ~5k rpm while revving around ~8k rpm? It sounds way too low in the mids 🤔
Pablo said that he would not modify the rpm mechanics in the game to adapt them to his sound mod, because it would require modifying the technical part of the game's gameplay in addition to the sounds. And he said that his mod will be focused only on sound changes of cars.
