When Sori is more METAL than vinn..
Hail Sori \^^/
YES! Sori is AWSOME!
Loved how Sori just picked it up instantly and started singing it towards the end. Love that song.
"Darkness" is beautiful, acoustic, probably one people often forget about
?
I used to play mw2 and tekken tag 2 with this whole album on repeat. Baddddd fuckkkkkkin asssss
I love Disturbed ,David Draiman has one of the best voices in metal,he was in a choir and is classically trained so he can go toe to toe with any Opera singer
His is one of my favorite voices, so much range, and extremely clean. What you hear on the album is EXACTLY what you hear live. I also believe he has (in my opinion) the angriest voice in metal.
Exactly. His song Asylum is the proof of the latter.
I like Draiman and all, but he cannot compete with an opera singer. Where did you read/hear that he was "classically trained"?
DS you are right. He admits in an interview for a DVD (MOS I think) when he realised he was going to be doing it (singing) for a living he he did take singing and vocal lessons so that he could continue the lifestyle without injuring his voice. He even stops drinking and smoking while on tour and uses a portable vaporizer and humidifier if he gets so much as a sore throat. It may not be operatic calibur but you have to admire the dedication to his craft.
DS he was trained to be a hazzan which a cantor singer at Jewish service and the singing is very operatic
The GREATEST BAND OF ALL TIME!!!!!!! DISTURBED!!!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Believe is my favorite album from Disturbed. As a teenager I was hooked on the first album but after I got older and more musically inclined, I was finally able to really appreciate that album.
Brent P I never really got a chance to listen to that album all the way through
same here!
Believe is their best record despite the shit production Ten Thousand Fists is my favorite album from them.
React to Disturbed-The Night
Do you mean The Light ?
Biohazard Inc. nah, The Night is better
Come on guys...The Night plsssss
Simply the best song of all time.
Thats one is new! isnt it? @@gentlechieftain
Disturbed is a classic. Probably one of the best bands of their generation
Sori: "We need to go to one of their concerts." I highly suggest it. I've seen them live 4 times, and it's always been good minus 1 time when David was visibly sick. I think you would really enjoy The Light, Darkness, Inside the Fire, Voices, Liberate, 10,000 Fists, Stricken, The Night.
I saw them at Mayhem Festival first year. It was a damn good show. David came out with a silence mask on and a straight jacket strapped to a gurney lol
Land of confusion, never again, crucified, etc
Damn sori was on fire today in this video. Loved the energy
I love Sori's reaction to this video. So pure.
The chords in that song are quite interesting. Also, definitely, definitely, go see them live. David’s stage presence is amazing.
I went on warped tour with disturbed years back with a band I played with and Dave said that he actually was inspired by job with these lyrics, it’s talking about how god took from job without any seeming meaning. It’s basically him in his moment of doubt just like job questioning his faith because of all the bad things he’s gone through.
The actual video of this song is still pretty powerful. That golden light.
Your selections are always so on point. Love you guys!
This is legit one of my top ten favorite songs of all time. Thank you for reviewing it
I love you guys so much. Keep doing what you’re doing!
AHAH Sori has got the Disturbed bug, welcome sister youre one of us now !! :)
Meep Meep She has become a Disturbed One
My brothers, my sisters, my blood!
rudeman62 Yes!😄 According to my mother!😉
Y'ALL NEED JEEZUS! No, but for real, Disturbed are amazing. David's voice is great.
I'm sure you mean she's down with the sickness
Love you both!
I saw them live last year and they were awesome! Be sure you drag Vin along to see them, Sori. David D has such an awesome voice.
Believe is my fav Disturbed album because you get to hear David sing alot more on it and just overall the bands best work.
The blatant sarcasm in this song was what made me fall in love with them. It took me a long time to take them seriously.
what do you mean
Love u guys watch all the time!!
As somewhat mentioned by another person, David wrote the lyrics after his grandfathers funeral mixed with the remorse of 9/11. Great job. Interesting conversations.
Actually, no. I'm a big disturbed fan. This song was supposed to be released Sept. 12th, then 9/11 happened and they had to edit the footage lol. David Draiman himself said you should read the book of Job and you'll understand the song much better than before. Vin actually hit the nail on the head when he mentioned that at some point.
@@SuperB345T They were told they had to edit the footage but refused. For that reason this song wasn't aired much.
I'm a big Gojira fan, but i started listening to metal with disturbed and this song...man...i have so many memories with this song. It makes me cry every time.
Love this one. So uplifting and powerful.
Sori is right. His grandfather passed away around them recording this album. This is how I pray....with my music.
Disturbed - Inside the Fire or Another way to die, both songs include deep lyrics with an important message
Paul Cern I've thought about mentioning Inside the fire but given Vin's background I thought it may be insensitive but agree a great song with a tragic story behind it.
Steven DeHerrera Why would it be insensitive? I think even those who have lost people in such a way would, like me, be more open to that discussion. The more it's brought to light, the we are likely to notice loved ones on the edge. We will never be 100% sure if we could/ would have seen something that might have helped. As far as the thoughts afterward and thoughts of the Church ate concerned, I think even the Catholic Church has changed. I don't know what the Jewish faith has to say though. Any ideas?
Paul Cern Great song choice!😍
I love the concern but I’d be ok with it. Especially if it can help someone !
VinAnd Sori It definitely helps people (including me), so thank you very much, I appreciate your work.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Disturbed - Mine
it's one of my favourites
it's pretty much about the whole Israel/Palestine situation and like conflict in general
U man,really have a good ears to music🤗
i watched this clip several times just to see your reaction Sori :) you were getting into it and Vin's like.......MEH. HAHA. love you guys....ROCK ON!
One of Disturbed best songs and easily their best chorus.
Also Vin, I've been playing guitar for over 20 years and you're not giving this riff any justice. It's actually a really creative riff if played correctly. Not nearly as basic as you're making it out to be.
Still waiting for Thousand Foot Krutch - In My Room.. Make it happen!
Rob Jarrett Agreed. I’ve been playing for 18 years and this is one of the few riffs I can’t nail, but I can nail all Tool songs. It’s weird.
Jeffery Tucker yea, this riff is super creative and very annoying to perfect.
A lot of people take their riffs for granted. Had they been playing, like you have, they'd not dare say that.
Jonathan Chandler I've been playing well over 20 years and I've learned tons of songs in that time. The intro riff if played correctly has some very interesting notes in it.
So please try talking to someone who doesn't know what they're talking about. Thanks!
DimebagVision if played correctly, it's harder than most Dimebag riffs ;)
One of my fav Disturbed songs. Saw them live some time ago and when they performed this song it was kinda like, spiritual.
Hahahaha Sori I never notice u tap on Vins back as the que to start the show that's cool
its funny that you mentioned job because I believe in a interview david said this song came from reading job over again I know I'm late to this video
i have seen disturbed live 2 times.. they are awesome! :)
I saw them live , and David sounds just as good live , as did the band , one of the best concerts i have been to
I've seen them 3 times!! They are a must see band...but I have grown up listening to them so I have a pure love of their music.
Absolute banger from Disturbed! I used to play this on repeat.
Yall arent fake. I luv yall. Keep it real..
This is off their second cd,and i love this song,i can see Sori is a budding Disturbed fan and that is awesome. There are so many more songs that are better, but you'll get to more eventually i hope, love you both,Rock on♡
Pretty much the entire Disturbed catalog is amazing.
go to a show.. see them live.. they are so Awesome!!!
Great track and reaction. The way i see it- prayer comes from inside, bowed head or not, it stems from the heart of a belief that is deep inside! Pain Redefined please!
Stricken is one of my favorite songs by them, I also like the sounds he makes in his songs.
Love this song! 🤘🏻
disturbed "stricken" my favourite one!! ever and forever
Love this song glad u liked it, thanks guys 😎
"Yes! Yes! YES! We need to go to one of these concerts"
You're goddamn right Sori. Also about your Sunday school story about where to look when you pray. Don't question your religion too much love, or it all falls apart, and spirituality is a lot harder to find without it.
i really enjoy your opinions on these songs.
I thought the song was about how God gives you some wonderful people in your life and then takes them away. You guys really took the explanation to the next level!! Enjoyed the video!! Keep them coming
Sori you would love them live. Much like Vin I could take or leave them, but then I saw them live at Ozzfest and I was blown away. The studio version does his voice no justice, he is literally another animal live.
Vin And Sori, thank You for this great reaction. I really enjoyed it.I think there are a lot more songs from Disturbed that You can really enjoy. There's a lot of energetic songs, that, at least for me, gave me energy wen I was sad, for example " I'm Alive", "Ten thousand fists" etc. There are also songs that can really move you, for example "Inside the fire" and "My child", that were stories about tragedies that happened in David Draiman life. But for now I'd like to recommend You one of my favourite song made by them - "Enough". I believe You may really enjoy it. Best regards and sorry for my english, It's not my native language
The thing I found funny with your reactions and discussions was that I've always found this song to have a very dark message, in that the world itself ultimately doesn't care how you live your life. You live and you die and that's basically it. I believe this is backed up more in the music video. Plus, the album 'Prayer' came on was basically dedicated to being a middle finger to organized religion in general. Drainman, from my understanding, grew up in very conservative Jewish home and was practically disowned when he went off to join a metal band.
Disturbed in concert is incredible!
This channel is awesome
I love that you guys were bopping your heads halfway through the song! Prayer has a particularly catchy beat, and it kicks ass. If you like this one, check out Indestructible, the official video, and you're welcome! Enjoy!
soir is a fan of disturbed i bean a disturbed fan since my high school day and still a fan if they're great video you two awesome job
SLIPKNOT “SKEPTIC”!!! Vin would like this one!!!
Hello from Belarus!! Thank you for reaction on one of my favorite songs!)
First time I heard a Disturbed song was on the video game Need For Speed Most Wanted. "Decadence" was the song.
The Blind Racer Best game IMO they should make a remake or model it around that. I tried the others and can't get into them.
I really enjoyed Underground 1 and 2 also, but after Most Wanted I do feel it went downhill. Basically has seem to have followed the Fast and Furious franchise from 03 onwards. Originally a more raw depiction of street racing, to more recently being a cinematic,; more story based; actionish film missions; and a nice lineup of cars and customisation....but missing the mark in a lot of places in the recent titles!
I literally disabled all other tracks in options. It was so good.
Same dude
Deftones - Rosemary
Should do some Godsmack. Sully Erna voice is amazing
"Stricken" and "Inside the fire" are two of my favorites. More intricate guitar too. Point being, they touch on some deep subjects. God and Satan, suicide, power of the media. They just touch on issues human beings have in a different way than some of these other bands.
I see sparky and salty ... oh wait. Vin and sori!!!! Great song choice💯🇺🇸. As of my comment. Happy 4th of July to you 2. Channel loved. 💯. Both of you stay up and stay you 💯❤️🤟
Dan Donegan from Disturbed definitely one of the underrated guitarists in metal
Humans created Gods when they thought the earth was flat. An all powerful God is the answer to any question a child could ever ask.
Lol humans didnt "create Gods" people probably saw aliens and worshipped them as gods. These people didnt think of the gods as you and me think of pikachu...... they actually truly believed in these beings and even killed for these beings.
You guys seem to like disturbed you should try “overburdened” one of my personal favorites.
Disturbed is a great band to see live!!
I remember when this song came out. Disturbed has alot of great SONG'S. But this one? My favorite.
I love u guys!!! 🙏 is a great song!!! Thank u for breaking it down:) what bible should be read? I was baptized Catholic, but my parents never had me make my sacraments. I’m very spiritual, but I like your views on god and prayer.
this song brings to me to tears... she will never know my pain... :(
wish you guys would have seen the official video they made... for me it's the line... "living my life's not hard enough... take everything away"... :(
'Isiah 45 verse 7 KJV" would be a good discussion. ... I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.
Skindred pressure. This song is pretty simple and fun.
Integrity jagged visions of my true destiny.
Fallujah prodigal son
The faceless black star
Testament yes SKINDRED!
Hey Zeus I went a bit easy with these pics for the faceless and Skindred.
I follow four or five of these reaction channels and I ALWAYS want them to react to Skindred but I seem to be in the minority on it. I just think their sound is unique enough to stand out and more often than not their songs have a positive vibe to them. In addition, there's a variety in Benji's vocal stylings, from a rapping style to as heavy a growl as can be to downright beautiful singing (I think I've heard Vin or Sori say they prefer when the vocals are not just one style). While I don't think it's a typical Skindred song, I'd recommend (and am sure I have on at least one other video for Vin & Sori) "The Beginning of Sorrows" as it's clearly biblical in nature/reference.
Skindred is awesome.
Skindred STILL kick ass. New album BIG TINGS came out a few months ago.
This song is my guilty pleasure.
Sori Disturbed is awesome Live
I seriously had a dream that you guys did Cauldron - chained up in chains PLEASE DO IT IVE BEEN ASKING FOR SO LONG
Great song choice!
this is my fave song by them
I heard an interview with David Draiman where he discussed this song. He wrote this after talking to his grandfather he is/was a rabbi in Israel. He wrote it about his grandfathers response to 9/11...
Apparently the singer for this band (David Draiman) is Jewish. He even has family in Israel and his grandfather was a strict Jew who actually disowned him. Apparently he even went to a religious school. Pretty interesting in the context of this song.
This is my guilty pleasure song.
This is an amazing song! I’d like to point out that even though the guitar is more simple it services the song like it should. Being extreme and playing the fastest and hardest is all fine and good but that doesn’t mean it always creates a great song that flows well. The thing is that when a lot of people get into metal (including me) it becomes kind of an addiction to hear it more and more extreme. Then when you listen to bands that aren’t as much you start turning you’re nose up at it. I found that the more extreme the metal the more dissatisfied I got. It came to the point that extreme metal was doing nothing for me anymore. I had to step back and reflect on why I love music as a whole in the first place. A great song is a great song no matter what label you put on it or how simple or extreme it can be. It’s about the connection and flow. Great show guys!🤘🔥
XSTATIX Tribal Electronic Music ☝💀 ABSOLUTELY
XSTATIX Tribal Electronic Music he's also discrediting the riff. It's way more complicated then he thinks it is.
It isn't just one of those songs that you can play with 1 finger. Song has some very sneeky techniques in it.
Rob Jarrett definitely!🤘
Love your science fiction stories Peeps they are pretty interesting ;)
I liked the vid simply because Sori was getting so in to it and singing the chorus lol.
Blind Guardian - Imagination From The Other Side
Turn it upppppp❤️🔥🔥🔥Dave and the Demon
I'll be honest, I liked disturbed but I didn't love disturbed until I saw them live in 2016. They were so great live. Highly recommend going if you could. Also check out inside the fire by disturbed. Personal favorite.
So, ive been hearing the lyrics to the song wrong forever. I heard "Living just isnt hard enough, burn me alive inside" as "Heaven just isnt hot enough, burn me alive inside"
Vin's reference to karate in regards to bowing your head during prayer sort of hit the nail on the head. Bowing is a sign of deference as is kneeling. That's what I think, anyway.
Please react to Fear Factory - Replica, Self Bias Resistor, Descent, Ressurection, Linchpin, Corporate Cloning, Powershifter, Dielectric or Expiration Date
Next Disturbed should do "Voices" it was their first hit that put them on the map. I remember the DJ on the radio after they played it. "Well if you wasn't hearing voices before, you might be now"
Down - Stone The Crow
Temptation's Wing
Ghosts Along the Mississippi
Great reaction! I’m not sure if this is true, but I felt like this is the story of Job.
I wish more christians were more down to earth like you guys...
I saw some of your videos and still can't believe you are metalheads!!!
I love how Sori just rock its out while Vinn looks like is doing a mean poop XD
I have only 1 Disturbed song on my playlist…this one 🔥
Good choice.
Good evening guys
Sori was feeling that chorus in her gut, as most of us do and the way the artists intended. 👍
Sori is on fire this time
Way the go, Sori
You should have done it a lot more 😂😂😂
@VinandSori the Untouchables world Premiere was my first ever Concert
