- A man has been arrested after gun shots were fired in a venue in Smethwick yesterday morning (17 June).
At around 3.30am we received multiple calls to Avenue Bar and Restaurant on Rolfe Street.
Two men, a man in his 40s and a man in his 20s were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
They remain in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
A third victim, a woman in her 20s, was also taken to hospital with minor injuries and has been discharged.
A man, aged 23, from Birmingham, has been arrested on suspicion of two counts of attempted murder, possession of a firearm and assault.

That's my house just behind where the white Golf unmarked police car was when 17 year old was rammed off the road. In our local news, people were saying the police were this and that for ramming him off the road but just out of the camera it was primary school finishing time so the result could have been bad news if they didn't.
