- Once your scope is properly mounted on your Excalibur Crossbow, the next step is to make sure your crossbow is sighted in properly. Dan Wallace from Excalibur's Huntin' the Backwoods walks you through the process of sighting in your scope and adjusting your speed ring to ensure that your hold points are accurate.
Picked up my 420 yesterday, sighted in today at 20, will wait until tomorrow to go 30-40, but spot on at 20, scary groups. Thanks for this video, exactly what I was looking for. Well done.
Excellent video for me as a beginner, Thanks!
im excited to be getting by first full size crossbow , an Excalibur crossbow , in a few days...great video ..
This video worked great for me. Sighted in my Mag 340 with no problems. 20,30,40,50 are all right on. I haven't tried any longer shots yet. My bow is rated for 340fps but I had to turn the scope down to about 320. Thanks for making this video.
Thaink you verry much from Germany.. My scope had no labeling. Now i know in which direction i have to screw. 😊
I just got my Micro Mag 340 for Christmas. I’m going to zero this baby today and be in the woods tomorrow.
"Squirrels in the face" lmao
You sure those arrows are good? There is a fletching on the ground at the
Excalibur are the best, no doubt.
I am 66 years old and have had a Matrix 310 for years now, but due to some cancer issues have not hunted for 6 years. I now have had the opportunity to hunt again. As of 11/28/21, I took my first doe with this bow. I am so very happy and invigorated to hunt again. However, I would like to upgrade the scope on it for LOW lite conditions. I hunt in an all wooded area and long before sunset, it gets dark enough that I have a little trouble seeing the reticle in the scope that came with the bow originally. I want to upgrade, but, would like to stick with an Excalibur product. So, which scope should I buy to accomplish this purpose? Thank you in Advance, Harvey Adkins from Arkansas.
Cool crossbow
Getting that thing sighted in at 20 yards should take no more than 3 shots…..4 tops.
Nice grouping
So I took my 380 bulldog with the tact zone and sighted in at 20, dropped back to 40 and had to adjust the speed ring slightly. Stepped back to 60 and was low about 16inches 3 times. Went back to 40 dead on. What am I missing between 40 and 60? Black eagle executioner with 125 gr. Tip
At 40 yrds my bolts go all the way through the target what's different?
One piece of equipment EVERY archery must have regardless if you're shooting crossbows or traditional compound bows
Help me understand here. You said in the video that it's 5 clicks per 1/2 inch, but you were 3 inches high and said to click down 15 clicks. According to my math skills, that would be 5 clicks per inch not 5 clicks per half inch.
