While the antlers are most impressive, you guys need to quit judging bucks by their racks and let the immature ones grow. That buck may have very well become the new world record if you could learn a little discipline.

Yet the instruction manual included with my MAG340 says NOT to DO NOT apply wax directly to the rail. just apply wax to the center serving. I know wax and lube are two different things and wax will build up into the trigger mechanism.

Very good video very helpful This was my first ever crossbow purchase As my budget was $1k-$1300 based on my Cabelas and Discover credit card reward points I researched crossbows as thoroughly as I knew how to. My most important requirements that had to be met were in order of importance: *Absolutely Reliability *Consistent accuracy *Able to work on or repair them myself WO needing a proshop and on a hunt if need be *Warranty & customer service reputation *Value for my dollar Based on those five very reasonable and sensible mandates (come to think of it those requirements would make fo one ellava wife) the only crossbow company I found who's crossbows met all 5 at or very close to 100% was Excalibur crossbows I chose the Assassin extreme because of the Excalibur crossbows for sale at Cabelas/BP I felt it gave me the best value for my $$$ Just sighted in my Assassin Extreme 400 yesterday Tach-100 Scope is indeed very precise I adjusted its speed ring setting by chronographing my arrows I'm a diehard rifle enthusiast and precision reloader and demand precision in both my accuracy and optics and I am no different with my Assassin Extremes zero At 20 yards I wanted to be able to dead center punch a 0.5" Birchwood Casey orange stick on dot which required multiple final adjustments of only 0.25-0.5" at 20 yards and every adjustment resulted in a change of POI precisely correlating to the amount I inputted once I zeroed at 20 the Bow went 3 for 3 on dead center puncing 0.5" orange dots I use very costly custom made spine and indexed matched arrows to shoot out of my Excalibur AE 400 and I now know I would never dare risk shooting more than once at the same target under 50 yards as the risk if I do so of ruining an arrow is far to great. I then using the scopes reticle shot off hand at 30, 40 and 50 yards kept every arrow in its separate 5" stick on target first shot every shot Thus far I am 100% satisfied in all aspects and in all my requirements with my Excalibur Assassin 400 extreme crossbow Yes it was significantly more costly than other crossbows in the same velocity category but they were all of a compound design and can not be worked on without a bow press and a good bow press is at least $400 and even if you have a adequately capable press regardless if commercial or DIY you can't keep it with you in your vehicle when you go on a hunt and all crossbows absolutely all of them will eventually need their strings replaced and I can do that on my AE 400 in minutes with no press and only a bow stringer which if I wish fits in my pocket I chose Excalibur crossbows because IMHO they are the most reliable accurate and easy to work on crossbows you can buy and thier CS and warranty is the best in the crossbow market

One piece of equipment EVERY archery must have regardless if you're shooting crossbows or traditional compound bows It cheap and very easy to make and will last almost indefinitely A box rag target Get yourself a 24" sq box jam it tightly full of rags and it will stop any arrow you shoot into it ONLY draw back is its good for field points only Feel I must add if you buy a crossbow whos velocity rating is over 350fps a DIY rag box target most likely will not stop your arrows before the fletchings enter the target If like me your crossbow was rated at 400fps yoyr arrows WILL go in a DIY box of rags target with 80-90% of your fletchings in the box not good for your fletchings or your accuracy I went out spent $60 and bought a commercial crossbow bag target rated for over 400fps as it will pay for itself by not running my arrows fletchings

This was a very good video, there were only maybe two questionable (forward) shots taken. I've watched several bowhunting videos where hunters take poor shots. Crossbows are much more accurate and deadly.

Getting that thing sighted in at 20 yards should take no more than 3 shots…..4 tops. With the crossbow in a solid rest, fire one shot. Without cocking the bow, put it back in the solid rest and put the 20 reticle where you were aiming with your first shot. Without moving the crossbow, adjust your crosshairs to cover the arrow you just shot. This takes the guess work out out of how many clicks you need to go up or down, left or right. The same thing applies when sighting in a firearm. And with Crossbows being as accurate as they are, I never shoot at the same spot twice. When shooting groups, I shoot my first arrow, then pull it. Shoot my second arrow and pull it. ….up to 5 arrows. You can still see your group size by the holes in the target and that way you don’t take a chance on damaging arrows.

The couch arrived in two boxes four days early, which was great because we'd just moved into a new house and needed places to sit. My son and I put it together pretty quickly ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxitRzxya-XugamYgLwa_2G1gxPg4MCJHa . Another reviewer suggested inserting the seat into the side and I'm glad they did as the instructions weren't clear on that matter. It's incredibly light and slides easily across the wood floor, making it easy to move. It's firm, but comfortable. It will even be great to nap on. I got the gray, which definitely has strong blue undertones, but I'm okay with that.

The crossbow went together quickly and the general fit and finish is a bit above what I expected for the price. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx5B43Qabqt1HedUJyfEqxiwBCfaooIH52 The adjustable stock is a little loose. I had an issue when I tried to cock the bow for the first time with the safety on. The string set in the trap box, held just enough to build up enough tension to rip the string out of my hands when it let go. No significant damage was done, and once I got it sighted in, I wrecked a couple bolts by sending one straight down the shaft of the first. I'm holding ~2" groups at around 50 yards, and I'm not an expert by any means. Best part is that they supply all the replacements parts you may ever need

Help me understand here. You said in the video that it's 5 clicks per 1/2 inch, but you were 3 inches high and said to click down 15 clicks. According to my math skills, that would be 5 clicks per inch not 5 clicks per half inch.
