Just discovered your channel and am TREMENDOUSLY pleased that I now have someplace other than Facebook to go to for news of the Rollers and particularly of Eric, who I believe has always been the most talented member. Not to dwell on it too much, but Facebook is absolutely poisonous for serious fans of Roller music and the so-called fan organization Eric had (may still have) called Frontline is more toxic yet. Thank you for posting Roller content here - you can be sure I am now a subscriber.
That will be the same Frontline that refused you entry on many occasions because of YOUR toxicity towards Eric's family, friends, colleagues and other fans?
Yes...he is the best but what else would I say--you know me! With the song "Dave's Not Pleased, it's a great song but I keep hearing "Check Out The Babe" and I love that one so much. Gossamer Dream...my absolute favorite one! It's so great to hear him playing electric guitar--I listened to the replay of his interview--yes, he said that he got a new neck for his strat but he also said that he had to get used to the thinner neck of an electric (versus acoustic). All I can say is I'm thrilled that he's getting out there again...I'm happy to donate to the cause--we need more music from Eric!
Have supported Eric and his solo career for as many years as I knew about it - you had to keep your ear to the ground before the internet, with pen pals, etc., as he and other BCRs were not given much press (or any!) after Les left the band. I feel so grateful to have gotten a lot of his fan club releases in the past. P.S. HI BELLA, you cutie!
I don’t think asking people to donate is greedy…..everyone has to make a living… no one expects a nurse , hairdresser, builder, plumber etc to work for free, why should he? It’s not like he got all the money for his previous works….any job worth doing, is worth doing well, and that takes cash….im happy to donate….😊
@@blaineca I didn't get the feeling you were calling Eric himself greedy and I'm sure others didn't interpret it that way either. However, until I am certain Eric has rid himself of his vindictive hangers-on I can't in good conscience donate anything - I could never potentially risk supporting anything as harmful to the fans and ultimately to Eric's career as the people he had managing him some 8 or 10 years ago. Once I am certain he's well shed of those people he can count on my support.
I have to say, I was sort of thinking…” well, maybe?” But I thought a bit more…the so called branding of the Rollers put all of them in the position where no one took them seriously and they had to be twice as good and fight twice as hard for any respect or recognition they got….if you separate the preconceived notions you have about Eric or any of the guys, you can see they were all quite talented…Tam Paton basically nailed a target on their collective back when it comes to making a name for themselves as serious artists… it really does suck…thanks for helping to dispel the notion that they are candy coated bubble gum pop tarts
🙂💥Very good!!👍💥😊

Eric Faulkner is one of the best songwriters that the UK ever produced. He is underappreciated.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣😂
Eric said he kept everything.
Duke has the start of another song

Oh I certainly hope I didn't make him sound greedy. What I was saying was I am greedy for more songs! LOL

There are no rollers,Eric does his own sit down stuff,Derrick isn't interested and Alan is dead.
You should have started your podcast without the dog on your lap. It's a distraction from the beginning.
