2nd Gen of this Milwaukee M18 fan will replace the 4 position switch with a variable resistor like the Dewalt fans. Hopefully Milwaukee doesn't remove the AC option like Dewalt did on their fan.
I got the first generation M18 fan, it was nice. Now I have the current version, I like it a whole lot better. I use it for furnace and AC replacements, yes it gets hot in the basement, but with a wider fan I can leave it in one spot to keep cool.
It claims 23hrs on low with a 12ah battery. I’ve only been able to get 7-8hrs with each of my 4 12ah batteries. Not sure if I got a dud, but it sure is disappointing.
It may be worth contacting Milwaukee about that to make sure you did not receive a damaged fan, especially since they are brand new. Let us know if you need help getting in contact with them as well!

The engineers stole the secrets from Ryobi’s “Whisper” series lol!
Probably just working the kinks out with the Ryobi product first!
Same company makes milwaukee n ryobi
Just bought it today. Will it charge the battery while plugged into an outlet. To lazy to grab an extension cord.😂
If Milwaukee doesn't come out with a 5 gallon bucket missed fan we're not talking

How old are the batteries?
How does this fan stack up against the ryobi 20 inch fan
The Milwaukee M18 fan is 18 inches and is a bit less powerful due to the fact it's a smaller fan compared to the Ryobi 20 inch fan.
@OhioPowerTool so the 6300 cfm doesn't out power the Milwaukee. I d9nt care about specs just the airflow
250 with a one year warranty. Not for me. That’s a lot for a sub par warranty.
Hopefully we will see a better warranty in the future from Milwaukee!
