My sibling has this little engine in her car. And where the cat bolts to the exhaust manifold it starts to smoke on its surface (where the 3 nuts are visible). She replaced the cat. Nothing changed. I removed the two sensors pre/post catylic and it apeared to not emmit smoke, which made me wonder if there is too much resistance in the exhaust. I put the sensors back in and it didnt smoke... But then she said it started emmitting smoke again after a short trip. I removed one cat plug and she drove it back and there was barely any perceptible smoke (but if she drove it a bit more maybe it wpuld have idk). Oil, water, seems fine, apparently temps arnt going up when it happens. It drives fine (for a little buzz box). Apparently the cap was slightly milky but i never saw it. So my bush mechanics mind is pondering if it is too much resistance in the resonator/muffler/cat .. orr is something that regulates pressure (pcv keeps popping up in the yt world) .. or is there something more laboures causing problems 😅. @Nightravenspeaks the bolt shank bottoms out. Then give it a lil uummph with one hand and u are done. Dont go crazy with the TQ
