Freefix that works, if you have a Mac with magcharge, connect iPad to Mac using usb c as usual.and charge Mac in the usual way , the charge should pass though to the iPad. btw you could also use toothpick to clean the charge port. This worked for me and it works the way it is supposed to,

The older generation iPads and iPad Pro connect to the keyboard via the 3-dot connector, but those keyboards actually draw power from the iPad itself. They don’t have a charging port, so unfortunately, this solution won’t work for the 7th generation iPad. No, this won’t work.
