Surprised to see how many have similar problems. I’ve got the severe angle thing. Can get it to make contact for a little while by duct taping the cable down. I must have a great cable since I’ve been abusing it this way and it still works. One layer made it much easier to make contact. I am going to try another and see if I can make it somewhat normal. I bought a refurb for the cost of a repair and that one quit charging after 6 wks, I’m waiting to get its replacement . Same problem I bet. Thanks for the video!

Lightning charging ports are junk apple needs to rework and rethink there shitty lightning charging junk im tired as hell of them coming loose . They make lots of money because they know its a shitty system they created. They know 90% of the people that bring them in to get fixed will just upgrade to a brand new device before putting there phone or ipad in the shop so to speak

Don’t do it! Becomes a mess with the glue residue. Better trick, get one of those thin plastic strips that come out of a toy or electronic item that keeps the batteries from contracting. duck tape might be too thick unless you have a thin one. does not hurt to try. some people also did like 3 or 4 layers of scotch tape. good luck
