Thank you for the very useful information and thank you for sharing!
Very intetesting thank you.
So many tricks and tools in Davinci Resolve... Love it more and more as days pass. Thanks Jay for showing us!
Bro thanks for this amazing tutorial! I was actually using my blade and cutting black space on the actual clips. Your way is the best and right way. Love your work bro!
Thanks man!
Really Great tip, it will definitely add value to my editing tool box, Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Always excellent, Jason, and this one in particular was great as it felt as if you were creating with us in the room; terrific. Thanks much for the work.
Always love a quick-tip Tuesday - cheers, Jason 😁🤘🙏
Nice follow-up to your Sound Design video on 4/22. This effect tutorial pulled from that video made a super Quick Tip Tuesday. Thank you.
Absolutely incredible. I used to chop my footage. This makes it so much easier and if I could attach the sound it would seal the deal.
YES! a tip to remember ! 👏👏💪
Man Mr. J, I am green as can be with editing and creating videos, I am glad I found your channel. I am really getting a lot from your videos!! THANK YOU and keep up the good work!
Awesome, thank you!
I was wondering how to do this yesterday and I look today and you have this video. Thanks.
Awesome!!!!
Thanks!!
no iremos ir a trabajar manana 😁
Very nice.
Jason, always helpful tips to allow us to move forward! Once you have your "Compound Clip", can you reverse the process and undo the compound clip as well as copy the clip into either a bin, super bin or otherwise to use in the future (with audio)? Thanks for your expertise!
Thx ya 🙏🏽 this video. Quick question do you have a video showing how to do a fast zoom over multiple clips? What I'm going is something like a movie trailer zooming thru the clips but fast. While I'm talking over it.
You could use an adjustment clip on the top video layer, then use keyframes to create the zooms you want.
Or… You could just use Flicker, which I believe is a plug-in in da Vinci resolve? Or… You could use film damage and shut everything off but flicker.
So many ways to do everything in Resolve. 😁👍
Hi Jay top tip as always,... I was wondering.. what it is the short command to move the image around as you are tying to look to a clip in detail, rather than just zoom in, but Zoom in and move around inside the clip...? cheers
Thanks! You can use Ctrl (cmd on mac) and the - or + keys to zoom in.....Is that what you were looking for?
@@JasonYadlovski comand plus you zoom in.. but how do you hold and move around the image, if I want to look in a corner?... as Zoom in .. is just zoom. Do you know what I mean?.. Thank you
Middle mouse wheel is like a grab and then you can move it.....
@@JasonYadlovski hehe cool im on a wacom tablet...
Got you, I have a Wacom as well, I use the bottom button on my pen as the middle mouse wheel button.
How to sync it with music. One can't be as precise as the beat in the music.
You can use the transient detection to help align with the beat....
@@JasonYadlovski Hey thanks for the reply. I will check that feature out. Just wanted to let you know that this tutorial was immensely helpful for me. I used this effect in multiple places in my recent video(Of course by manual effort only as I wasn't aware of transient detection until now). Sharing the link to it(starting at the time I first used it in the video): ua-cam.com/video/Ho4xqd55HPM/v-deo.html&ab_channel=ChintalapatiVenkataRamaRahul. Thanks a lot for your tutorial.
Other editing software is available with no hustle and hard work to create it?!!!!!!
Could you give a demo of it working with DR?
A demo of what, this effect?
@@JasonYadlovski yeah. I have the studio version of DR and I use 3 TVs in my windows ( but only 2 downstairs ) so I'd might be interested in using it on the 2 downstairs TV's. So I'd be curious to see how it works on just monitors using DR instead of projecting it on a house.
I'm sorry, I don't understand what you want to see. I'm don't see what the flicker effect has to do with the TV's you have. I think I missed something, lol. 😜
@@JasonYadlovski I'm sorry, I somehow posted my comment on the wrong video
