Hans was honestly the worse part of Frozen. To this day, it still infuriates how they handled him. In an attempt to make him "special" aka the subversion of the typical heroic Disney prince, they made him fall into another generic trope: the scheming outsider who wants the throne for himself. Hans could have been a morally complex character, he didn''t have to be a full-blown psychopath. He knew what it felt like to be cast out and isolated and mistreated by his brothers. His sole purpose of coming to Arendale was to "find a home of his own" and marry to escape his abusive family.
Honestly the movie would have been more interesting if they showed us more about hans as a character and drew a parallel between the sibling and family dynamic and his motive this could have made him a lot more understandable and somewhat relatable...
And also familial love and stuff.

It's my head cannon that the trolls somehow messed with Hans' mind and made him evil. We only see Hans do something evil after Anna has met with the trolls again and they learn about her engagement and the trolls even freaking say that they plan on getting rid of or killing Hans lol.
I actually really liked Hans from the first moment and it infuriate me how dirty Disney did him, just so Anna could be matched up with Kristoff instead. No hate to Kristoff either, but they could left Hans out of the story or given him a kinder arc.
But anyway, cool that someone wrote a story to him. It gives him the depth his caracter deserves

No cause literally, he was the only one that wanted Elsa killed in the first place. Right at the beginning of the movie too! Sure, he probably didn't want to kill Anna, but Elsa absolutely. Hans didn't even wanna kill Elsa until he was sure she knew how to end the winter. And all to keep good face.
I wish that Disney had kept the original concept of making Hans at least more sympathetic. 🗣

I may be old fashioned but I wouldn't mind some predictability in Frozen 3. I want Prince Hans back as the good guy and he defeats the bad guy. I'd like to see a wedding and for people to acknowledge that the Frozen movies are based more strongly towards HC Andersen's the Ice Maiden. If you want a prediction worth looking at then read that story. ...It looks bad for Kristoff's character. ..just saying.

@@magivenderstudios I think Kristoff and Anna would have worked if it wasn't so forced. It was honestly super cringy when the trolls sang Fixer Upper and tried to get them to marry each other by the end of the song. And then, by the end of the movie, Kristoff and Anna kiss.....what. The narrative portrayed Anna and Hans' abrupt romance as ridiculous ("you can't marry a man you just met!") but oh, with Kristoff, its okay to kiss a dude you just met like two days ago.
@@magivenderstudios Kristoff and Anna do have some similarities with Eugene and Rapunzel. But technically speaking, those few and barely noticeable similarities are not enough to simply label Kristoff and Anna as “Bland copies of Eugene and Rapunzel”.

The narrative of the movie portrayed Anna's naive desire to marry Hans, a man who she just met a day ago as ridiculous.
@@ngda8305 Yeah, Kristoff and Anna's love story in the first flim could've been more fleshed-out. But to be honest, it doesn’t really matter. Their love story was like a semi-important subplot that semi-elevated the first flim's message of "Love is putting someone else's needs before yours".
They can only forgive each other but they are hypocrites because they refuse to acknowledge all the choices Hans had.

That'd be like calling Twilight Sparkle just Twilight of Canterlot.
They need to do a TV show that they did with tangled have season. One. Have them see Hans's also try to help him. That would be a good season one I think this should do 3 seasons if they do it.
Maybe they somehow use the story but want to change something
