Bithania Andemariam it’s not that hard, you just have to be more thorough to make sure you get all of the hair grease out. You also would definitely need to use shampoo as just water won’t clean it out.
Blue magic is a hair grease, I use it as a sealant after my leave in conditioner. It leaves your hair moisturized and less tangles. Some people use blue magic and water only, but that has made my hair break because of how thick the consistency of the grease was when applied to my semi transitioning hair. Your braid out ended up really nice btw!

Darcel Bishop ivy I have used the kinky curly knot today leave in, Shea moisture’s leave in just to name a couple and really just any natural good leave in conditioner from any of your favorite brand will work but I typically go for a moisturizing leave in conditioner just because blue magic tends to have a little protein in it (anti-breakage). You probably needed to also use a leavein underneath...you also should use scurl activator gel after and either the blue magic OR the pink oil moisturiser as they are just sealants
Your hair is beautiful 😍 I use Softee mango butter grease from Dollar Tree or the original Blue Magic grease with my Cantu Leave In Conditioning Repair Cream. I like Cantu Coconut Curling Cream as well.
Yes I just went back to using blue magic hair grease and I’ve noticed less breakage and tangles and wash day is a breeze

You used the wrong pink, that's the new lite version that's why it smelt different. You need to get the original pink moisturizer. 😊
