Youth hoppers these days got Pro level coaching tips online for free... it's honestly amazing how much the coaching/training space has expanded in the past 20 years
Bro you know NOW. And what do you do with the new accumulated knowledge? You pity the past with feelings of regret, guilt and hopeful/wishful thinking, not living in the present.
Nobody will understand how much this took my game to the next level. I would go on the court trying to develop my left hand and have no control at all but as soon as I started doing daily tasks with my left, when I got to the court practicing with my left got so much easier. I still brush my teeth with my left till this day. I even started juggling with my left hand to take it a step further 💯. Preciate the advice, bruh.
dudw ik this sounds childish asf but i would like the comment but i dont wanna mess up the 69 likes😭😭 but i fw wat ur saying sounds mad cool fr. RESPECT
Exactly right. I used to practice an hour at a time completely left handed and arm would be sore afterward. Ended up able to shoot mid-range left handed (still not as good as right).
@@JaidenBrown-do7bq yea I'm kinda getting the hang of it after using my left hand more frequently, brushing my teeth? I use my left hand. Mopping the floor? I use my left hand? washing the dishes? I use my left hand to scrub and my right to hold the plate. I still need more practice, but I can shoot with my left hand and my accuracy increased. I say all is not lost for me.
@@TotallyInnocentBrocolliit took years to get your right hand to where it is so it would take years to get comfortable with your left to the level you want
This is so facts the more you do with the left the more it becomes developed. When you take out the trash pull the green can with your left hand and the blue with your right. It gets that hand stronger
i’m literally “multi handed” so not ambidextrous but left hand for precise stuff like EVERYTHING YOU MENTIONED but right for sports and stuff and I still can’t finish with my left hand 😢
Was looking for other videos on the subject of improving weak hand usage in general, and this was the only one that brought up anything other than writing or throwing, so that's nice.
Bought the vert code, haven’t been very consistent working out due to in season basketball draining me and taking a lot of time but my explosiveness has improved so much already
He isn’t lying, all the stuff that he is saying is going to improve your left hand, if you feel like a soreness, then that means it is working, you just have to keep doing it constantly until it feels comfortable.
You know, the weird thing is that I actually write and brush my teeth with my left hand, cause my right hand can't hold a toothbrush or pencil for shit. However, with damn near everything else, I'm right handed... What's with that!?
Off topic but you should make a video comparing training and health between Jordan and Bron. The critique I hear often is Jordan didn’t take care of his body which is why he retired twice. But these people don’t acknowledge that he regularly played all 82 games. Squids would love to hear a break down on training methods, diets, rest, technology, etc.
I developed my weak hand (left) back in grade school. I injured my right hand week before a school tournament and I forced myself and practiced to shoot with my left hand.
One of my good friends growing up and probably the greatest potential for an athlete I’ve ever known was ambidextrous. Could legit write fluid naturally with both hands but I think he preferred his right
I eat & write with my left but shoot & dribble with my right; personally I think the best way to improve your off-hand is to skip daily routine (writing & brushing teeth) and go straight into doing basketball drill with off-hand. That is how I improve my left but that is just me...
@@tommyprogress Well you ain't wrong. I am just saying we can skip the off-court stuff & just focus on off-hand ball drill if the goal is to get better at Basketball.
@@jaylenharrison8593 I’m kinda an odd case since I can’t write with my right hand but is a right hand dominant player when hooping so I’m just sharing my thought. :-)
Yes, but I’d add, alternate. Do something naturally with your right, then mimic. Keep alternating until the form and natural feel of it happens without you thinking about how to do it.
i dont know if this will work i am a lefty in terms of writing and eating but i played basketball with my right and my left hand sucks so i have the motor skills already in my left though it takes basketball practice as well
Coach I’m right handed right, but I shoot a basketball with my left. So I already do those things with my right hand, but I can’t finish with my right what should I do?
I’m right handed, i write righty, i hold a fork righty, i shoot righty… i am WAY more comfortable going left off the dribble than going right. Anyone else with me on this ?
I did everything on my left. Now I like driving to the left side and I can make layups with my left hand without practicing it. But give some time on your right because you might lose your touch.
I always feel bad for the right handed people even though growing up they forced me to do everything right hand to fit everyone else. I always made sure to remain Left Hand dominant now my right looks like my left😂
What’s crazy about me is I write left handed, brush left handed, throw a football left handed, hit a soccer ball left footed, but in basketball I shoot right handed and drive better right😂😂
OK if you want to write better with your left hand hold a pen or a pencil in the position that you write with your right hand and but do it with you left don't write but hold it there to make it more comfortable for holding the writing utensil
i naturally use my left hand for all athletic related things and naturally use my right for writing, brushing teeth/hair, drinking etc so this vid is not going to help me whatsoever💔💔😪
I wish someone told me this when I was 8.
Youth hoppers these days got Pro level coaching tips online for free... it's honestly amazing how much the coaching/training space has expanded in the past 20 years
You might not have listened or put it into practice when you were eight, but it would still have been nice to know
Train your opposite for 4 months. Youre good
Bro you know NOW. And what do you do with the new accumulated knowledge? You pity the past with feelings of regret, guilt and hopeful/wishful thinking, not living in the present.
@@SuperGGLOL UA-cam is something else.
Doing this is way more effective than you think instead of doing left hand drills just do more stuff with your left hand outside of the court
i think it's good to do both
Bet
None of this will work I’m sorry and this is coming from a person who started left and switched over

Hey man. So how long did it take for you to develop it completely.
I studied Japanese for 4 semester and used my left hand 90% of the time to write Kanji, and that's it
did it help?

Exactly right. I used to practice an hour at a time completely left handed and arm would be sore afterward. Ended up able to shoot mid-range left handed (still not as good as right).
So you can improve your left hand but not make it as strong as your right, wow and here I thought it was possible
@@TotallyInnocentBrocolli you definitely can just depends on the way you train

Me being left handed: Alr that’s easy.
Not only left hand but left leg too
I do everything with my left but shoot with my right. Explains my broke jumper
Use your phone left handed
The thing is, I am left handed (writing, eating, drinking etc) but I can't dribble as good with my right

I can do everything with both hands except writing for right hand
Left handed people left the chat
Just don't drink with your left hand continue drinking with your right hand.

What if you use you left hand for writing but use your right hand for sports

I tried this and now my left hand is my right hand and my right hand is my left hand.
I have a left hand on the court but I don't use it at all in my daily routines.
Pj pls give the squids long form vid😩
Also the most important one is to fap left handed.

Luckily I brush my teeth with left hand from childhood. I have difficulty to brush with right hand😅
Im left handed but I can't dribble with my left hand which is strange
Now what do if I do if I do everything with my right hand expect play basketball that seems to be the case

Fun fact - Manny Pacquiao's trainer (Freddy Roach) would have him do this (eating) to develop his left hand

I'm left handed but Im right handed when it comes to bball

Is it the opposite if you are left handed?
What’s crazy about me is I write left handed, brush left handed, throw a football left handed, hit a soccer ball left footed, but in basketball I shoot right handed and drive better right😂😂
Left handed but right footed
OK if you want to write better with your left hand hold a pen or a pencil in the position that you write with your right hand and but do it with you left don't write but hold it there to make it more comfortable for holding the writing utensil
What if your right handed in basketball but you write and eat left handed
I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous
I have been telling players this for years!! thank you now someone with much higher credibility than me is saying it😂
I remember Kagami from kurokonobasket from this haha
I was ambidextrous but then i became right
Fuck i am left handed in life and right handed on the court (like kyrie/bron/messi) i alredy do this 😂
Bro is it the same for steps for the right hand
I thought I was the only one that did this 😭
I’m left handed do I just reverse the hand
Im already a lefty ( not in basketball tho )
i naturally use my left hand for all athletic related things and naturally use my right for writing, brushing teeth/hair, drinking etc so this vid is not going to help me whatsoever💔💔😪
