You can literally pull out the transfer toners, plug in the sublimation toners and click print - cause its that fast! Make beautiful bright colored designs and pictures for polyester garments and items.
White provides the most versatility since all colors will show on white but any light colored garment with a dark design will do.
With this system you just print your mirrored design on regular printer paper and take it to the heat press with your garment and press it in place.

There is no texture to the transfer, in fact, if you close your eyes and feel the garment you won’t be able to tell where it is by touch.

Awesome. So based on your last segment in this video I conclude that the feel of the printed fabric is as the fabric itself. What is the feel when you use it as Heat Transfer printer for printing on black fabric?

When uploaded to pro rip do your have to choose sublimation? Or what type of paper? For some reason my icolor550 won’t print on white paper. Only prints when I put in two step.
please print on cotton t-short..you have the same resultant like printing on polyester ??
So with sublimation I can use reglar paper and also transfer on dark tshirts ? Also cotton ? How about metal ?

I think this video misrepresents "regular" sublimation. The cost of entry with inkjet sublimation is much, much lower than laser ($500 vs $5000 for letter size printing; $2000 vs $14000 for 13x19). Transfers onto hard substrates is also going to be much better from inkjet sublimation because there's no "fog" from the toner (which usually has to be cleaned or else it looks dull). The vibrancy from Sawgrass ink is far superior than most toner-based systems, too.
So, yes, while being able to convert to sublimation on your toner system is nice, the results aren't nearly as good as going with an inkjet sublimation system.
So if I’m looking for a sublimation print which printer would you recommend, I don’t want the vinyl plastic look on my shirt but also don’t want to be limited to poly.

Not sure where you saw $10,000. Brand new the printer with RIP is $3995. The Sublimation cartridge kits is about $1,200 if you decide to get it. I just bought a 550 for $3,200 shipped from a guy a few states away with about 500 sheets of transfer material with 8 months left on the warranty. Plenty on the used market.
