This was a really useful video. I'm researching my first build. I was thinking of getting this for convenience. But I feel like the integrated mount and in-frame tank probably aren't worth the extra cash plus shipping - which is $175. Plus the mags aren't my gig. I can get a cruiser with rear rack and front basket for carrying stuff at Walmart for $230 plus the Zeda 80 kit for $200 more without all of the shipping charges. Feel free to set me straight. I lke the looks of the bike and the video is great. But $450 vs $800+. The seat looks comfortable. I'll take any input. Thanks
I've bought my 2nd set of those rims,for another build,and I have looked back too often to see if my tire's going flat.I didn't know it's "the flex".I attributed it to 30lbs of baskets and it even seems more stable with about 50Lbs groceries.I know that sounds weird but the load seems to stabilizes them.That's 300+lbs and I ate a "super-duty" spoked rim in less than 3 months without a load.Thanks Alex.Been enjoying and learning from your vids for almost 4 Years now.Dueces.
Full fenders please. 1gal tank please. Rear rack for milk crate please. Cantilever brakes please. Upside down fork please, or a cover for the regular fork to prevent water rusting the insides. Large size for men over 6ft please. Wheels that don't break please, 29ers.
You’re right about the rim flex on most mag wheels but there is one that remains rigid it has twice the amount of spokes (from 5 to10 ) and they alternate from side to side of the hub and rim. They now go for 150. Used to be 125. and worth it. Never a problem with ten arm(spoke )wheels)
Love the front end, and the mag wheels. I wish they made a frame like that with a 2 or 21/2 gal tank. I'm using a Predator 212, non hemi, with a stage#1 upgrade, a 30 series torque convertor with an upgraded Juggernaut centrifugal clutch, which is like having a 3 speed transmission, and, when the spokes started breaking, despite using a hub adaptor, I swapped out the spoked wheel with a 6 spoked, mag wheel, the same as yours. I'm using a 1 imp gal gas tank that doesn't quite go the distance, so, I'll probably have to build one. I've also set the throttle stop screw to keep me under 80 km/h, otherwise, I'd end up in a high speed police chase, and they won't let me ride my bike. Can't have that. Very nice ride, put on some rear views, cage drivers do strange things, when being passed by a bicycle, that my be hazardous to your health, especially if you go down with them on your ass, They WILL save your life, or, at least give you a fighting chance. Ride safer. You don't have eyes in the back of your head. Trust them to do something stupid, they won't disappoint you. EVERY INTERSECTION IS A DEATHTRAP.
Can you change your title into more appropriate like ScReaming Monster instead or speed of an Angel ? not really a fan of darkside cause I choose to be in bright side cause the one we ride is a blessing from him above the sky
Your muffler is wrong . Just Paul the tube out of botom cap leave cop on . And stop slamming the clutch ease into the clutch or you have drive train problem chain ' drive gear Key shear or crank key even stresses a rag mount rear gear . Got the 3.4 liter fram from CDH. You might want to get fuel tank sealer and vent the gas cap. And I would pass on one with the motor mount on fram as they tend to brake off.Same with mags , go with heavy gauge spoke wheels , but she do'se look the bomb !👍👍👍👍
I just bought me a zeda firestorm 80 engine a month ago runs good got it on a pos bike thinking about getting this bike not a good mechanic but is it hard to assemble and what kind of sprocket will I need? Thanks been watching few of your vidioes there awesome
It's a very nice blue bike! They only thing I would change is that I would add ape hangers. Do you have any bikes with ape hangers? What's your take on them?
@@BuildBreakFix yes I know I've seen plenty but I was asking if the felts are stronger. The felts were its own bike frame but then China made their own version with the tank and everything.
I like them because their stance is much lower and longer. There is a pretty dramatic different when they are side by side! I used this frame for years tho! Thanks for watching!
@@keeganhache6667 felt faker is normally 3mm thick tubing. And has bigger diameter tubing on front down tube and chain stays. Gas bike frame is 2mm tubing more shaped like beach cruiser. Gas bike frame holds more gas then faker .2 Liters. I got a video where sawzalled a few into sections in a comparison video some place. I have 10 styles side by all companies but phatmotos frame someplace to on the channel.

That front jumpers look dangerous while riding.

So I see a lot of racers using the felt faker frame. Is it stronger or something because imo I like this frame better for looks
not a felt faker frame. that is a gas bike frame. completely different rear end on the frame.
