I’ve found a relief from vibration , take a short piece of heavy metal like rebar 3 to 4 inches that fits loosely within the handlebars, then add multiple O-rings on re-bar or metal rod to take up the gap sliding it into handlebar until slightly tight. It absorbs the worst of the tingles, also helps with longer Rod within seat tube to deaden vibration. You’re welcome.
Another great review of the set-up.It wasn't too loud, and 'closed-captions'read "Music" when you rode at 4+mins.It looked good and sounded strong.40 tooth may be your sweet rpm and speed. Thanks for doing these for us,and sharing the fun.BMX bikes are a great source of handlebars.
To get more stability and performance at low rpm you can make the rear sprocket bigger and with more teeth. If yours is an 8 in changing to a 10 inch will give you more torque and more rpm at slower speeds.
Thanks to you I no much more than yesterday 😋bought a eBay kit for my bicycle did not no what i was getting into it just look like fun .then I found your you tube videos and I’m more informed thanks keep doing it ps I’m building my second Motorized bicycle 😁😆 maybe it’s all those bicycle you have under the tarp .🤣😂
Maybe put a set of moutain bike bars on it, with a higher rise, put fatter tires on with lower pressure or replace with spoke rims (I think they look awesome on this frame) and see what's what. I'm looking forward to you hacking a head off a YD100 like Johnny did or something crazy like that. Keep us posted. Maty out
I took a handlebar from a 20"BMX so I could sit upright on my my.bike, and have used it 4 years now.My back was broken and I can't lean over like that either.People throw away bikes and I find parts.2 rims wrecked with a 'Hub-adapter'so went with the alloys like LA's.26'2,25" tires.Pneumatic seat post too.Doing a 100 for Bro soon.Let y'all know.
Sounded, and looked pretty good LA.Sorry to see your rim's bent.Allot of comments of 'broken alloy rims too'.Bought my 2nd set of 'CDH Power's Mag Wheels' that look like your's.I look them over Carefully when un-boxing.Smallest tire used was a 2.1x26",and ride 2.25x26" at about 35Lb pressure. You've seen the crappy roads I have to ride daily. No breaks yet.I've heard of the 10-spoke splitting at the tire bead, but not who made them so I avoided them. There's probably a few who've never had trouble.
Awesome bikes Hover. Btw the silencer that's on your mz has a restriction inside on the end that's where your supposed bolt it to the pipe. I'm not sure but it looks like yours is in backwards so it would be one the female end on your build. I spend a few hours yesterday removing that darn thing, it's a short little piece of pipe that's welded to the mounting bracket and it has a fairly small diameter that needs to be cut out. Peace brother!
The screaming demon is a great motorbike frame once you set it up right I modified my frame by removing the motor mounts so I could slip a predator 212 onto it, in all honest the demon is kinda like a moper for motorbikes a little expensive for what it is but I’ll give it to zeda Motorsports on the welds some very beautiful work. Edit: you should experiment with a jack shaft kit those are always fun
@@BikeCarpenter it’s really sketch and shaky I managed to fit the go kart racing model the ghost into the frame it’s fast but I don’t think I’ll purposely full throttle it ever again
Be carefully where you ride on the demon mine snapped a dropout and the down tube has a massive crack. Probably from the crap roads in Wichita. Safe riding broski allways enjoy your content
Those damn rims are dangerous on the last ride we did the dragonfly bike made a hard curve and I caught on cam it flexed so bad and he said he felt it.
Add some gussets on the frame and will stiffen it up I re did most of my bike during repaint n keep an eye on the steering n bearings that came with the bike I ended up upgrading them to even steers way better now
That frame would be really good if it had some gussets welded in... the best frame by far is the phatmoto frame I bought one in March of 2020 and been running a 212 on it those frames are built so well they have gussets welded everywhere that has a right angle ..I'm sure my Cranbrook wouldn't hold up to the power of the 212 but I'm going to build or buy one of those engines like you have... which one would you recommend the southern comfort or dlh....by the way that bike is so sweet brother it looks awesome.... thanks for another great video..
I noticed with my Demon/Hybrid build that when I got rid of the mags and put my Geminis on it... it stiffened the whole ride up which made for a much smoother ride
I just recently gave my bike a paint job and did some maintenance (trued my bike spokes, repaired some gaskets, replaced some cables and cleaned some parts.) I used to have a piece of leather on the engine mount that connects to the seat stem. I removed it however since it was a tight fit and figured that it didn't add much. When I start my bike however I noticed alot more shaking and my handlebars feel like there is tension keeping me from turning when I accelerate at higher speeds. Would removing the leather cushion on my engine mount have anything to do about this?
The amount of flex on that frame is downright terrifying and unsettling to watch, ride safe my friend. Sucks that your mags aren't true, I think I got lucky with mine. Love the video though, and really appreciate the info on the frame, I'll stick to my earlier thoughts and invest in an FZero at some point in the future. As for your engine being so unbalanced, it almost seems like when your crank was squished together, that maybe it's off by a few mm from being true with either side. You may want to try sticking it in a vice and tapping it with a soft mallet to correct it if that's the case. There's a man who built a I-6 Kawasaki 2 stroke that went into depth on how that can be done. I wish you luck in your endeavors and hope things go well! Can't wait for the next video!
Random thought but have you ever tried the centrifugal clutch kits they sell on ebay for like 50$? They are great i got a 300 lb+ man going 40 mph on that setup with a 36t rear.
If you want to try to save the 110 i found a bottom end replacement. Im not so sure how good it is but it might be about like the first one DONSP1986 CDH110cc Motor Replaement of Top End Cylinder Set and Bottom End Crank Set with Iron Sleeve Cylinder for 2 Stroke kit 84CC/85CC Just copy paste that into amazon and it should be the first one
I wish I had another"builder" that lives close to so I could try out someone else's builds. Just to see the difference in the power of other builders port work or just bike in general to compare notes.
@Steve Sweedy the butt Dyno never lies, cause I don't know if you know it but you butt Dyno is directly connected to your face muscles. That's how you can tell by how big the smile or frown is. Lol
Don't know if it's because of improper setup or what, but more than a few people have had issues with those 'Mag' Wheels breaking... I won't use them for that reason, although they DO look kool...just either what I described, or they just ain't up to the task...careful now on those rough roads...
It’s not the roads it’s stunt riding and hard trails, leaping and slamming. I’ve had mags for decades of non X-game riding without fail and those sealed high speed bearings are damn near bulletproof. Just don’t jump curbs you don’t have to baby them just ride safely
Hey LA you probably Don't remember me but I just have a really weird set up and I wanted some real suggestions for speed and more. I have a 1990's gt frame with a zeda 80 dio reed with an f2 pipe and f2 silencer and was wanting to know if you could tell me how to get it up to its capability I'm not into boring and porting so none of that. lol it kinda scares me ngl but since your my go to man and one of the best on the platform on the topic and I know other will agree I just wanted some help or if you could pick up a zeda 80 dio reed and make a couple videos over it. love your vids you help me a lot!!
Without even some easy DIY porting (a hand file) you have only one option, the 100 dollar Nitrous Oxide kit. No fuss no muss , gain another horsepower or more. Easy install no engine disassembly. But learn the basics of port matching and you’ll end up becoming enthusiastic about modification because much of it is just removing manufacturers flaws.
The only problem I've had with aluminum mag rims is if you use caliper style brakes the sides of the rims where the bead stays becomes worn from brake pads causing the side of the rim to snap half the bead groove off the rim causing catastrophic failure. Take tire off and rode home 10 miles on broken aluminum rear mag. This happened around 40mph in close traffic. SO ALWAYS USE DISC BRAKES WITH THE MAG WHEELS
Again with the mag wheels I almost was not ever going to use them again until I went back to spot where the bead, side of rim broke and found the broken piece and saw how thin caliper style brake pads made the side of the surface. I have had these on my predator 212 bike for 2 years no problems. Caliper brake ruined rear rim. So I built another bike, used the same mags and maybe lasted a few hundred miles before breaking. But I'm willing to bet with the 212 engine and all its weight didn't cause problems with the mags, Why not. I ordered 29 inch mags for my 29 inch beach cruiser and a 26 inch set for my tank frame bike. I like this channel because everything that he shows and proves to yall is 100 percent true take my word because almost every issues he's shown you and repaired I've done maybe 5 or 6 years ago. So I don't really watch any others unless I hear him say where he purchased any performance stuff from. KEEP MAKING THE GOOD VIDEOS
Hey, I have a racing motorized bike build with a 21 pwk carb (stock Jets) and no matter what I do it won’t idle. I’ve already played with the idle screw. For example if I stop at a stop sign and pull in the clutch, the engine dies if I don’t give I a little gas
For just a bolt on motor that you don't have to do anything to other than maybe some tuning and fine adjustments (and assuming you have a decent pipe). This Hybrid for southern custom CC looks like it will be the fastest kit on the market. I know DLH, RDM, and Smolik have much faster motors. But I have never tested their bolt on kits. I will be testing a DLH ported minarelli cylinder in the near future that looks like it might kill me lol...
The Screaming Demon on Bicycle Engines is on sale right right now for $469, which is a great price. I've looked all over for these frames and that's easily the best price.
This is just my opinion. For stock China doll motors I find that you can safely cruise at medium speeds for 20 mins. If tuned probably you can probably cruise untill it runs out of gas, but look into a larger head for really hot days. For these hybrid motors, they run hotter and I'm still testing their limits.
I really wish they come out with a cruiser style frame with disc brake and motor mounta but without the damn built in gas tank. These motor ready frames simplify a lot and make instalition cleaner but the built in tank just makes them look like shit.
Mechanically, not being able to balance the crank perfectly doesn't make sense. it sounds more like the vibration is coming only partially from the crank, thus balancing it causes it to resonate with a different source of vibration.
The reason the 65 pipe is not smooth at low speed is because you are running it on the rich side you said that yourself just a minute or two before you told the difference....you can tune the engine to run smoothly with any pipe....
@@LAHover oh ok cool...uv thought about trying the jog pipe....do you recommend it on a already pretty strong China doll ...I'm sure I can get more power out of this old girl...I got the 65 clone and the WC-80 ...

Why don't u take the scramen to work every day to work everyday
The mag wheels and thin frame do not inspire confidence on my bad roads.
ooh
remember too much vibrations ain't good for the frame
Oh yeah and the stem is made of some extremely weak material and will break if you accidently over tighten the bolts
Thanks for the heads up, I'll keep a good eye on this one and will probably just turn it into a low speed cruiser for safety reasons.
Mag rims aint that bad just avoid turning fast
I've noticed that your bikes keep going faster and faster but please stop using the crappy bike breaks you need to upgrade to disk brakes..........!
Plus the pinch style calipers on the back rim will eat through rim very fast causing the whole rim and tire to fail on you
