The move you do at 12 secs of this video is exactly the move I’ve just implemented into my game this last week. It’s really improved my ability to play the cue ball where I’m aiming. Was always missing thick on long pots. The feeling of having my cue running under my chest instead of to the side.
this is one of your best teaching videos and these are EXACTLY the changes i did recently. i'm a total amature, something like 30 break is my record, but it made me much better and also much more consistent in my game.
Great tips there, thank you 😊 This is a long shot.. would you fancie a game against me and my snooker rival Mark..? We are also arranging to play two other snooker UA-cam channels 💪🏻
two further adjustments that I find helpful are: 1) when I stand behind the subject ball to see the contact point I use my dominant eye this I feel I can see more precisely where to hit; 2) previously I found it difficult for me to pause at the back of feathering especially for power shots - my balance is not right; now I swift my weight a bit to the heels and there is less urge to hit immediately
This is exactly the same solution I have employed to the same group of problems I have encountered, my game has improved notably Another great video, thank you. Keep them coming 😊
Hello sir, long time lurker(no comments so far), but I thoroughly enjoy your content and you have gotten seriously good in the past 1 year! My question is simple. Is there a chance that you go through Q school and get on the pro tour?
I've recently got back into snooker and your tips are really helping, the only problem I have is I get to rigid when thinking about all the technical parts eg. Foot position grip body position etc etc. So I try to find a balance between playing in a flow kind of way and just concentrate on straight cueing simple stance and simple cue action. Uts working so far and I'll keep trying to incorporate the technical stuff slowly. Thanks Sean from rockhampton australia🇦🇺
You have amazing talent and I think your channel is great. I find my bridge hand is rather low/ flat, I've just noticed in this video your bridge hand is rather low also but your consistency is amazingly spot on every shot. Do you raise your bridge hand for follow through shots or lower your back arm a little. I'm an average club player and have played for some 32 years starting playing when I was about 12 in the local snooker halls. Just curious, I'm happy with game would just like to be more consistent with cue delivery and aiming particularly. Amazing channel and you are super talented.
Hello from Plovdiv Bulgaria! Do you participate in any tournaments or do you just practice alone? Have you won any rewards, because you are as good as a professional player.
I've found in power shots that i end up with sore ribs from my cue hand punching my chest. I wonder if that's because i hold my cue too close to my body, or if I'm arcing my hand from the elbow too far and lifting the butt of the cue with it. Have you experienced this and can you advise?
When your level increases in snooker you can absolutely get away with this. Just take a look at some of the pros, they also do this in certain situations, especially cueing off the rail.
@@exhainca its not so much the distance of the bridge when your after spin! It's how well you go through the white ball! I have around an 8-10inch bridge gap and can generate massive backspin. There are many factors like cue weight, cue action, cloth etc etc.
@@taff6987 Wow dude, you sound like you won the Masters eight times. I wipe the floor with theoreticians like you. What are you even arguing about? Sit down.
thanks this video really helped me! greetings from Basel, Switzerland
Saying hello from Edwardsville,Illinois. Yet another amazing video allowing me to take a breakfromlife 😁😁

CENTRE STRIKING>The question is: How to determine the part of the cue ball that is going to strike the object ball in angle shots??
Hi
How much do you make a month from UA-cam

Missing after every X number of shots could be a momentary loss of concentration.
Split, not Splint. 😂
Sounds like something I do, but where was it?
Getting more difficult to find more aspects now.....but good stuff Quint 🎱✔
Your bridge is a bit far on some of the shots as well.

@@taff6987 In certain situations when they need crazy spin. Most of them keep it close - it's the easiest way to control your speed..
