Watching from Pakistan, brilliant talent you are!
Hi , I am Preekunj from Lucknow , India 😁
Always great explanations! Cheers & thanks! from Paris!
Speed is not a variable in the squirt angle / tip deflection. I thought this was the case for years, but many tests have proven that it's not so. It seems so because the CB doesn't swerve back as much. Play soft verses hard against the nap, with a flat cue, and this will become apparent.
Hey man can you please make a video on how to learn angles on the table? That would be great. Keep up the awesome videos :)

watching from Nepal. cheers
You have set up a great channel for Snooker. I have just started to add spins to my cue ball and your videos have proved the most useful. Also, it would be great if you could mention in one of your upcoming videis about wheather it would help your game play by taking breaks or is it all about practising as much as you can? (or practise routine and such) Keep them videos coming. Love from Solukhumbu (home of Mt. Everest), Nepal.
My theory on this is sometimes when you haven’t played in awhile you can come back and just by chance start doing the right thing. I think it’s about 1/4 by what I’ve experienced.
@@Breakfromlife Thanks for your opinion. 😀
Oussama from Zarzis , Tunisia
Great work man , keep it up 👌
Really enjoyed this making me better. From Cork, Ireland!
Loved the video just a quick question what about cutting the ball do you still do that or just apply spin
Thanks for your work, watched all of your video's. Little worried about some mold on your walls, maybe a dehumidifier is in order. Love my heat pumps, sucks the water out and heats and cools. Love them from Musquodoboit Valley Nova Scotia Canada.
Like always helpful and fun videos. Keep it up! Greetings from Poznan, Poland.
Hi thia is Klaus from Brazil, I play snooker end the big question is: when u play with effect the cue ball, the cue ball transfers effect to the colored ball? Yes or not?
watching from india..big fan of you 😊❤️
I love your channel! Just a question: @5:30 you hit the cue ball on the right side and the yellow ball goes more toward the right in comparison to the previous straight shot. But in the following explanation, you say that hitting the cue on one side (i.e. on the right) provokes the target ball going much more toward the other side (i.e. the left). What am I missing? Thank you!
Was watching the snooker yesterday and seen two mis-cue's (John Higgins and Mark Selby). It's the first time I've ever seen two mis-cue's in one day in my whole life of watching Snooker. I noticed they were both using that new white chalk too, which is supposed to reduce the chances of things like this. Are we better to just stick with the green stuff? Barry Howard Dunoon, Scotland. Cheers mate.
white chalk is supposed to reduce kicks, not miscues. just an fyi
@@vincentvdw3990 not just kicks. You seen the price of it? I'd be expecting it to carry my cue for me too!!
@@randommadness1021 well the price is for the composition of it not sticking to the cueball/objectballs/cloth. Which is the cause for kicks
While it supposedly reduces kicks and it does last longer, many have speculated it actually has less grip making it worse at its primary job. I think this is why Ronnie doesn't nothing with the new stuff
@@dnbmania Ronnie doesn't believe that kicks are caused by chalk. Watch him today (Monday) and you'll see he almost doesn't get the cue ball cleaned. He beat Ding yesterday with an average shot time around 12/13 seconds per shot and that was on a 25 frame game.
I reckon that he'll win the tournament and the cue ball will be cleaned less than 5 times with the green chalk.
I seen (I think) Mark Selby using the BLUE chalk!!
(Edit): I don't think Ronnie is playing today (Monday 10th August 2020).
I'm curious as to what you think about the amount of difference with tournament grade tables for producing greater spin. For example, your attempt to recreate Judd's 2019 world championship shot, screwing back right down the table. I often wonder if you'd be able to get much closer to recreating that level of spin on shots if you had a tournament grade table to do it on? I also wonder if you think there must be some good strength training exercises for building cue power. Obviously technique is far more important, but having the raw power in delivering the cue must also increase how much spin you can hold on the cueball. You could even do a video series where you do some strength/power training exercises and see over a few months how much it increases your raw cue power. Would be fascinating.
Judd just simply has more power than anyone else on the tour so his shots would be very hard to recreate. With regards to your cue power it would be more advisable to lengthen your cue backswing and learn to control that extra length instead of doing weights for example. I can guarantee that the your professionals won't be lifting big weights because it will harm the finely grooved muscle memory.
Hey! I am from Coventry in the West Midlands, UK.
