Also they have vastly different personalities that have an effect on their facial structure and features. One is more extraverted with more smile lines and wrinkles, and the other one more solemn and a more reserved face. Maybe when they were younger they were more carbon copies, but as twins age, everything about them starts to divert.
I love that Eve has also had several faces over the years (not even just including her rework). As an Eve main, I also apprciate the mention that she should look different to everyone! It's nice to see that you considered that aspect of her lore too! 😁

I hardly ever comment on UA-cam videos but I have to say that as a long time Shyvana player, I think you absolutely nailed her look. This series is such a good example of how to make characters look interesting and appealing without just making all of them anime girls. Keep it up!!
Ooh Noxus or the Freljord could both be very fun! Noxus’s real world influences including the Roman and Byzantine empire could make more Mediterranean features a nice pull, but the Freljord could also be interesting… While Ashe’s VGU definitely helped her in a lot of places, I miss her strong eye tilt and tanner skin, it helped her not only stand out among other female champions but also having slightly darker skin made her hair pop a lot more!

i disagree, perhaps the depth of her eye sockets or bulbousness of her cheeks casting shadows is creating an illusion of age, but to me she looks like a very real, chipper young mage it’s just very different from that cartoony, ultra-clean eurocentric look of league, which is the point of the redesigns
There are many ways male Evelynn could go. I personally think a caucasian complexion would be more in line with her female version, but even then there are a lot of things to be decided. Buff? Thin? Young? Viril? Protective? Vulnerable? Shy? Dominant? Can't wait to see what you come up with (yes I am into that)
I think you could fill a book with different Evelynn's maybe I make a video one day just about that topic. :D its not my usual style to go for the hot stuff but it could be a useful experiment to check out different ways of hot :D!! Ty for the thoughts!

I kind of wish you had went more with how Morganna looks from legends of Runeterra with the gray tint to her skin and the glowing purple eyes but I do like this take on her. She looks more human which makes sense given how she's rejected her mothers side if I remember correctly. The others look amazing, Quinn and Vayne especially looks more distinct from the others. I love the eyes you gave Vayne and Quinns face shape. Quinn looks like someone who would know her way around the woods and Vayne really does look straight out of an action film.

Yeah, Morg is a bit difficult I made an additional drawing on my twitter/x account where she has the dark makeup - i’m a big fan of the level one lor design and especially the concept where she actually wears the veils - it’s so good. Gray skin is a big? Question mark I could image her to powder her whole posy in ash - as a reaction to the people her sister burned. This would make for a good lore reason.
I'm barely alive from train travel, but omg how much I love the way you modified Lux face! All of them are great, but wanna focus on her since she's kinda my first child from League. I love that you made her face fuller, a bit chubbier, because I always thought that since Lux is more of a brain to contrast Garen's brawl, I believed that even tho she's a Crownguard and probably has some physical trainings, I always imagined she'd be a bit more of a chubbier face and body since you know... They're upper class, food is not a problem for them. With mage rebellion, I feel like she could become more muscular or maybe toned, but her face would probably stay round and you just made my dreams into reality ❤ Thank you again for great work for community and hope you'll grow even further

Honestly amazing work. I wish we could see more of Shyvana's facial features. I do love the wildness of the hair, and I imagine this is what she could have looked like before meeting Jarvan. Maybe if you explore the possibility of taming her hair a bit more to reflect her induction into Demacia. I liked the images of the dragonborn looking characters with their hair tied/braided back that you showed as reference. With every new character that you showed it felt like it just got better and better. Looking at them all at the end, you definitely nailed it so well. I think Vayne was my absolute favorite, but the others are so good it feels bad to say that haha. The detail of doing a ring of color around the pupil of Kayle/Morg was so gorgeous and a really nice touch. Can't wait to see more of these!

I have to admit I was a little skeptical at first, but your designes absolutely blew my mind! Shyvana and Quinn were perfect redesigns, they were beautiful! Your versions of champs make them so much more interesting and different that I hope this is what they go for when they make the artistic part of the MMO. I think that's exactly why she shouldn't really be androgynous? If she needs to be hot lady - she is hot lady. Needs to be buff guy - the same. So she really only needs to be androgynous when she wants to torture someone who is really into androgynous looking people (?). So in my opinion, when you depict Eve you should choose something close to her most common form, which would probably land somewhere close to the beaty standard/ideal with two forms (male/female form). So my argument against androgynous looking is that it's like trying to depict everything, but getting nothing instead. Edit: And about her true form: she is the demon of agony, I don't want to the see the primordial horror that *can* hide under the pretty looks, and you probably too. Making her true form just some androgynous person is.... Very boring.

I am off the opinion that Evelin’s true form is probably formless or unfathomable (I hope I spelled that correctly) which condenses to an entity which you can’t grasp with your mind. The form she takes (like as an example a boggart in hp) as you’ve rightly stated would always be closer to a beauty standard. Thats why I am specifically agreeing on the true form being something that is beyond mortal physiology (damn it’s late and I can’t type anymore) but I think that we actually have a similar opinion we just have small differences in the details or the expression of them😃
I loved Vayne!! Somehow I find resemblance on her and Netflix' Blue eye samurai protagonist, the vengeance backstory and the glasses, so making a more sharp and long face fits for me. Great work!!
YES YES YES NOW THAT’S SONA! I’ve been drawing her like such too ever since Wild Rift actually give her the unique melancholy slant to her eyes If anything I referenced Cai Wenji’s face from Dynasty Warriors many times. It’s just so uniquely pretty with the sad eyes and the worries in her eyebrows but you add a smile on top of it and she looks like the kindest person Been trying to get rid of the big piece of weird hair clip that she got too
Damn, again such awesome redesigns! Especially Quinn makes me happy to see in a more characteristic look. I imagine her at night in an inn and just from her look I can see she saw some brutal things in the past. Or she just can't sleep well xD Would love to know the background stor of this new Quinn. Interesting to see would have been Morgana with her make-up tho. I really love her look in LoR (version 1) when she looks calm, but even there she has the make-up so I was wondering if there is a nice redesign idea for her make-up You have. But besides that I love how Kayle looks! About Shyvanna it's nice to see that you got inspired by the VGU designs, they are so cool, tho they feel a bit like darkin-like, as well as your face design for her, maybe that's intentional because she will face a darkin in the future? I think if she had a more bluish tint in her hair this would probably help to distinguish her, but I the main problem is the red armor. It really doesn’t feel like Demacia😃 but she could definitely interact with Joraal the darkin shield in the future 😁

Love your ideas, especially for Quinn! You activated my adhd hyperfixation, so here's "some" additional feedback: I loved your more ferocious take on Shyv, especially her eyes. Although I think you could have gone harder with the dragon theme. She looks like a human lady with blue bodypaint and dragon cosplay accessories, also her scales look more like freckles. Maybe try adding way more scales, add a nose resembling that of a reptile (fe larger nostrils and flatten the tip). Reduce the fullness of her lips, give them a rough, leather-like texture. Imo a dragon's face has little room for soft, exposed flesh - I mean, she breathes fire! So her face and lips probably need some sort of protection :D Maybe add tiny spikes above her eyes to resemble eyebrows, imitate human face shapes using animal/dragon features (if that makes sense). To make sure she's still being read as feminine (in case you care about that) you could darken her eyelids to resemble make-up. You could also add red scales around her lips, both to imitate lipstick and to indicate her fire-breathing abilities and visually connect to her horns/armor as well! Some additional storytelling tips for Sona's design: You defaulted to red, full lips in your design. But since she's mute, I think taking the viewer's attention *away* from her lips instead could work so well! She could have especially thin lips, making her instantly recognizable among League's women - most of them share the default of luscious, beautiful lips, perfectly youthful without any scars or signs of aging etc. I understand this is partly due to readabilty, but surely some variety is possible! Anyway, back to Sona: Since she can't communicate verbally and not everybody knows her sign language, a lot of communication she would likely express using her eyes, perhaps more than the average person does. Sona's eyes don't need to be severe like what I suggested for Shyv tho. Maybe give her longer, dark lashes or an unusual eye colour that contrasts with her hair or clothes, perhaps she would add tiny sparkles of make-up onto her eyelids in her free time, maybe some soft, layered bangs that slightly curve inward could frame her upper face, subtle stuff like that. Also (this is just nitpicking tbh) imo Sona looks almost too kind in your design. In her short backstory it's mentioned how she feels torn: on one hand, she loves her Demacian family, on the other she can't possibly agree with their political values and Demacias discrimination against mages. So I think there'd be a tension in her face, some kind of hidden struggle or something. Maybe heterochromia would be a fun take as well? The more I think about it, the more I'd like to see your rework of the champ! I admire your Shyvana rework and new champion concepts and I would love to see what kind of ideas you'd come up with for Sona - she seems kind of underrated to me for having such an interesting story dynamic :( I'm sorry if any of this came off as harsh/hyper critical. Creative artistic choices like yours scratch my brain, that's all. Don't know how well any of my ideas would work in practice, but they sound fun in theory. Either way, keep up the amazing art, I'm looking forward to whatever else you'll come up with :)

Amazing art, I haven’t really thought about how the same faces are on every female champion. It’s kind of refreshing and an eye-opener. I’m still hoping to see a rag doll void yordle at some point 👌😉.

I'm barely alive from train travel, but omg how much I love the way you modified Lux face! All of them are great, but wanna focus on her since she's kinda my first child from League. I love that you made her face fuller, a bit chubbier, because I always thought that since Lux is more of a brain to contrast Garen's brawl, I believed that even tho she's a Crownguard and probably has some physical trainings, I always imagined she'd be a bit more of a chubbier face and body since you know... They're upper class, food is not a problem for them. With mage rebellion, I feel like she could become more muscular or maybe toned, but her face would probably stay round and you just made my dreams into reality ❤ Thank you again for great work for community and hope you'll grow even further

She was always the intellectual person. Really happy she works for you 🥳 Funfact coming to Finland I realize that there are a lot of rounder faced people here, and they really aren’t overweight. Some of them certainly reminded me a bit of the design I had made for Lux 😃

Same. I think it's just that we're so used to media on how they convey typical asian-eyes that when we see something out of ordinar, it feels off at first.
Honestly amazing work. I wish we could see more of Shyvana's facial features. I do love the wildness of the hair, and I imagine this is what she could have looked like before meeting Jarvan. Maybe if you explore the possibility of taming her hair a bit more to reflect her induction into Demacia. I liked the images of the dragonborn looking characters with their hair tied/braided back that you showed as reference.
With every new character that you showed it felt like it just got better and better. Looking at them all at the end, you definitely nailed it so well.
I think Vayne was my absolute favorite, but the others are so good it feels bad to say that haha.
The detail of doing a ring of color around the pupil of Kayle/Morg was so gorgeous and a really nice touch. Can't wait to see more of these!

Thank you so much! Yes I should probably start doing some variations on the characters faces. It’s always hard to deviate from the original because a lot of people got used to them. On the other hand if I make one simple overhaul and one with bigger changes this would make everyone happy and be very interesting 😃 Ty for the feedback!
i personally think evelynn should have way more androngyny because her form as you said is whatever the victim wants the most.

If she needs to be hot lady - she is hot lady. Needs to be buff guy - the same. So she really only needs to be androgynous when she wants to torture someone who is really into androgynous looking people (?).
So in my opinion, when you depict Eve you should choose something close to her most common form, which would probably land somewhere close to the beaty standard/ideal with two forms (male/female form).
So my argument against androgynous looking is that it's like trying to depict everything, but getting nothing instead.
Edit: And about her true form: she is the demon of agony, I don't want to the see the primordial horror that *can* hide under the pretty looks, and you probably too. Making her true form just some androgynous person is.... Very boring.

I am off the opinion that Evelin’s true form is probably formless or unfathomable (I hope I spelled that correctly) which condenses to an entity which you can’t grasp with your mind. The form she takes (like as an example a boggart in hp) as you’ve rightly stated would always be closer to a beauty standard. Thats why I am specifically agreeing on the true form being something that is beyond mortal physiology (damn it’s late and I can’t type anymore) but I think that we actually have a similar opinion we just have small differences in the details or the expression of them😃

If anything I referenced Cai Wenji’s face from Dynasty Warriors many times. It’s just so uniquely pretty with the sad eyes and the worries in her eyebrows but you add a smile on top of it and she looks like the kindest person

Damn, again such awesome redesigns! Especially Quinn makes me happy to see in a more characteristic look. I imagine her at night in an inn and just from her look I can see she saw some brutal things in the past. Or she just can't sleep well xD Would love to know the background stor of this new Quinn.
Interesting to see would have been Morgana with her make-up tho. I really love her look in LoR (version 1) when she looks calm, but even there she has the make-up so I was wondering if there is a nice redesign idea for her make-up You have. But besides that I love how Kayle looks!
About Shyvanna it's nice to see that you got inspired by the VGU designs, they are so cool, tho they feel a bit like darkin-like, as well as your face design for her, maybe that's intentional because she will face a darkin in the future? O_O

I think if she had a more bluish tint in her hair this would probably help to distinguish her, but I the main problem is the red armor. It really doesn’t feel like Demacia😃 but she could definitely interact with Joraal the darkin shield in the future 😁

Love your ideas, especially for Quinn! You activated my adhd hyperfixation, so here's "some" additional feedback: I loved your more ferocious take on Shyv, especially her eyes. Although I think you could have gone harder with the dragon theme. She looks like a human lady with blue bodypaint and dragon cosplay accessories, also her scales look more like freckles. Maybe try adding way more scales, add a nose resembling that of a reptile (fe larger nostrils and flatten the tip). Reduce the fullness of her lips, give them a rough, leather-like texture. Imo a dragon's face has little room for soft, exposed flesh - I mean, she breathes fire! So her face and lips probably need some sort of protection :D
Maybe add tiny spikes above her eyes to resemble eyebrows, imitate human face shapes using animal/dragon features (if that makes sense). To make sure she's still being read as feminine (in case you care about that) you could darken her eyelids to resemble make-up. You could also add red scales around her lips, both to imitate lipstick and to indicate her fire-breathing abilities and visually connect to her horns/armor as well!
Some additional storytelling tips for Sona's design: You defaulted to red, full lips in your design. But since she's mute, I think taking the viewer's attention *away* from her lips instead could work so well! She could have especially thin lips, making her instantly recognizable among League's women - most of them share the default of luscious, beautiful lips, perfectly youthful without any scars or signs of aging etc. I understand this is partly due to readabilty, but surely some variety is possible!
Anyway, back to Sona: Since she can't communicate verbally and not everybody knows her sign language, a lot of communication she would likely express using her eyes, perhaps more than the average person does. Sona's eyes don't need to be severe like what I suggested for Shyv tho.
Maybe give her longer, dark lashes or an unusual eye colour that contrasts with her hair or clothes, perhaps she would add tiny sparkles of make-up onto her eyelids in her free time, maybe some soft, layered bangs that slightly curve inward could frame her upper face, subtle stuff like that. Also (this is just nitpicking tbh) imo Sona looks almost too kind in your design. In her short backstory it's mentioned how she feels torn: on one hand, she loves her Demacian family, on the other she can't possibly agree with their political values and Demacias discrimination against mages. So I think there'd be a tension in her face, some kind of hidden struggle or something. Maybe heterochromia would be a fun take as well?
The more I think about it, the more I'd like to see your rework of the champ! I admire your Shyvana rework and new champion concepts and I would love to see what kind of ideas you'd come up with for Sona - she seems kind of underrated to me for having such an interesting story dynamic :(
I'm sorry if any of this came off as harsh/hyper critical. Creative artistic choices like yours scratch my brain, that's all. Don't know how well any of my ideas would work in practice, but they sound fun in theory. Either way, keep up the amazing art, I'm looking forward to whatever else you'll come up with :)
