Thank you! It was so interesting to see how you accommodate living in such small places. But! It’s Paris! You are Young! And with some screens, like wall fabric, or bookcase to separate you from your kitchen and living room it can be very lovely. I love huge mirrors. They cause light to play off of them and gives the impression of largeness 🎉❤
seems to me that you could put that mopping bucket in the corner of the big bathroom by the door (future video), with a storage dresser next to it to box it in a bit and hide it.

Hi!!! New here. Congratulations 🎈🎉🍾!!! I love your apartment!!! The toilet room right next to the entrance door 🚪 is so perfect!!! The tile is so cute. Love everything about this place!!! Enjoy!!!
Love the apartment! Quite spacious for the price and the bathroom is amazing! I lived and studied in Paris many years ago and I know how hard it is to find a non- depressing, well-lit space with its own bathroom! As an au-pair (prior to my Sciences Po experience), I lived in a chambre de bonne, 6th floor room with only a sink in a 12 square meters room. Toilet was in a hallway and consisted of a hole in the floor 😳 (wonder if they still have those in Paris). Needless to say, it was traumatic. But the neighborhood was excellent, rue de Verneuil, 7th arrondissement ( as far as I remember). A few years later my husband and I returned with our little daughter to study and rented a tiny, dingy house in the 19th arr. Still, Paris is Paris 👌 👍 😍 Best year of our lives ❤️.
As an au pair, I showered at work 🤪. I also found a real sit down toilet on the 6th floor of my building but every time I closed the door and turned on the light, an elderly resident of the 6th floor would start pounding at it, screaming in Spanish that I'm using "her" toilet and electricity 😅. So I went with a candle 🕯 for ambiance and peace of mind 😇. When you're young and in Paris, you can handle anything. 🤫
{t took time but finally you got what you were looking for..I think it is wonderful...Very specious....Thats what we call a studio here in America..Congratulations
Love your new apartment! Finally, a nice space after your long journey. I’m considering a job there and it helps a lot to see the reality of living there. Looking forward to see how you decorate it. 🙂
I’m so happy you made it back to France. I was watching your Visa issues video and everything was so predictably terrible. I was sad for your experience. I’m in France too since 4 days and I agree the long process is bizarre!

Congratulations! It’s a beautiful apartment! So much storage and wonderful light! Would it work to put your bed in the corner diagonal to the kitchen? I hope you have a lot of fun decorating and can’t wait to see it when it’s done😊. BTW what arrondissement? Is it inside the périphérique?
ahhhh thank you so much ! yes, i thought of putting the bed there at first BUT then my desk was in the dark corner and that didn't make me feel so good while i was working from home..... but i should try it out to see :) I won't say exactly what arrondissement its in, but central thankfully ! :D

So cool! I feel like that’s a really great price. I remember years ago having a studio apt with no balcony in the Midwest (definitely not Paris) for a similar amount. Is this farther out, or near the center?(:
The space is nice for a studio. To bad u didnt get the kitchen u want. Im from usa but live in the UK for 7yrs and a year in France. Im a tailor and did some bespoke tailoring training in the UK and spent a year in Paris. I liked Paris, but didnt want to be in it 24/7. I spent my year living in Chantilly about 18k outside of Paris. I had a lovely 67m 2 bedroom apt with a galley kitchen and a lovely balcony on the 2nd fl facing south/west with a cellar storage space for just about the price your paying, but that was 2010.😉Im a lot older then you. UK has always been my choice, but the chance to hang in France for a year came up so I took it. I still have fabrics I bought in Paris I have yet to use.🤭
