Just looking at your decor a suggestion maybe go and get Rustolium spray paint in antique gold you can spray paint the legs of your dining room chairs(pink) that will match the gold table in the lounge. Use the spray paint (gold) to spray your toilet roll holder. For a decor piece in your bathroom measure the diameter of your toilet paper and look for a cylinder glass vase put your toilet paper. My vase hold 3 additional toilet paper and it is next to my toilet. This will help with making the space look cluttered . Hope this helps you.
I would put the mirror where the poster is and vise versa and frame the poster! I would move the vine from the bedroom area divider to on top of the bookshelf by your desk. Maybe try finding a cool wardrobe or older cabinet of some sort to replace the open shelving in the kitchen. It will add some character as well as hiding things. Great idea for the hanging bar in the kitchen! But all in all looking great!
Great idea about the mirror switch - especially as it will be over the shelf unit where you can take a quick look at your make-up and hair before grabbing your keys and leaving the appartment! I agree about the vine plant too! Such a great idea about the old cabinet!
I watched your videos before I moved to Paris (over a year ago!) and I've always loved them. Recently I've been having a super hard time in Paris, just general depression etc. and suddenly this morning I remembered your videos... I watched your apartment makeover videos and idk how to explain it but you literally brought me sooo much motivation, excitement, and happiness. You make living in Paris seem so colorful and lively, and I want to live out my life in this gorgeous city with as much appreciation as you have. xx thank you and please never stop your videos!!
Personally, I love the personality the picture of the lady brings to your apartment...a frame can make a big difference. You are doing a great job and making wonderful choices!
Well done! Don’t worry so much about getting ALL of the artwork - that’s a process for you to enjoy over the coming months, gradually adding pieces and building your “collection.” The apartment looks so beautiful! Enjoy each day; enjoy shopping; enjoy testing out inspiration!
I just came across your videos because I love Paris. You've done an amazing job. I don't know many women who could have done all the building you have plus everything else that needed to be done, moving, lifting, drilling etc. It was a tremendous amount of work! Kudos to you.
You've probably finished drilling walls by now but it would be good to invest in a DIY gadget you put on the wall and it will detect any electrical wires or water pipes in the wall so you can avoid drilling into them and giving yourself a shock or having a water leak which would be disastrous after all your hard work
Definitely need get rid of that poster😂. Also, I suggest you use Sweeper to clean the floor instead of the mop and bucket. It’s cleaner and save a lot of space
i would definitely get a oblong or horizontal rug it will pull the hallway together , get something with strong colours it will go well with the white walls
I think from stressing over finding your apartment and all the work , building and pulling things together, you have run yourself down a bit. Time to start relaxing. Before your sick.
great job!! add a mirror above your couch!! Or on the wall by your bed! Also maybe think about adding colorful framed art leaning against the wall on the shelf in your bathroom? Possibly add a grouping of small pics above your tall bookshelf or one medium to large pic with the plant to the side of in front. The vertical rug in the entrance.
Great job! I’d replace the bookcase on top of the washing machine with wall shelving, leaving a 90-100 cm space underneath. Then, i’d top the washing machine with a piece of countertop you get cut to size at the store. That would double your prep area and free valuable horizontal space.
I like the pink colour for the chairs. I'd suggest a perpendicular rug for the entrance hall and a different poster/picture for there. The colour is all wrong for your apartment's colour scheme. It's really coming along so nicely. I love all the plants and the way you've separated the bedroom nook from the lounge.
thank you for the lovely / helpful comment ! yes i agree.... the poster just doesn't fit the vibe... I feel like its too dark for a hallway that needs brightening instead.... I'll see what i can find haha
You’ve done a beautiful job. Thank you for sharing with us. My little recommendation (and I know sockets are often few and far between) would be to add accent lamps. It would be warmer and then you don’t always have to use the spotlight in the ceiling. Love the little lights. Did you mention your arrondissement?
I like the way you separated the bed area from the rest of the apt. Separate, but light with the open shelves at the foot of the bed. Loved the mirror and also the poster print in the hallway--the women deserve a nice big matted frame to fill that wall
Absolutely agree with you that the Jewel Lady art needs a large mat (with frame)to create a more dramatic statement, and will also create a more sophisticated and museum quality vibe. Personally...I like the entry art with the mirror...I also think two rugs...one immediately inside the entry door...and one in front of the cabinet (below your poster). A small rug to put your bed slippers on would also further define you bed space, as well as, add a bit of an intimate feel. Agree with another post re art and gallery wall...it will come... you'll discover pieces while you're out and about... maybe even gifted art...then as your gallery walls begin to take shape... you will have more of a connection with them. One last thought...a vintage style bar cart would be a wonderful statement piece and would give you a great reason to go "thrifting"...🤩 Thrifting in Paris...can anything be better !! Enjoy... love the process...keep creating !! 💖
Oooh, I love! What a wonderful transformation! Sorry you were sick, but the “voice” was actually cute and quirky. Love this space for you! Job well accomplished!
Lovely vibes. I like the colors. What a huge space from what you had before. I vote for a vertical rug to invite you into to your well decorated space.
Gold solution the bar for hanging in the kitchen. Like I suggested before frame in a large mural peel and stick reposition wallpaper. Use molding to finish it off. Some are likely think it is a painting. I thought flamingo with tropical plants like palm fronds tying in chairs with couch. You are doing a great job and guest will what you done.
You could also add a massive horizontal or round mirror on the desk/table wall. With proper anchoring (the plastic plugs), it’d be safe. That would optimize the lighting. Plants hung on the ceiling would be a great idea to fill up the white walls, different from hanging art. Check out the Command hooks if you’re not keen on drilling everywhere, they hold a fair amount of weight 😊
I just came across your vlog. I am your parents age and likely have little in common other than our love of Paris. I do want to share that I find you truly delightful to watch and love your ‘single girl’ spirit! Now I am hooked 😊 Stay 😎. An American in Minnesota
Just recently discovered your videos and really enjoying them. I think you should get two more pink chairs honestly, they look great and wouldnt look too crowded around the table. Also how about a small table under the pretty mirror to hold your keys or a wicker basket to hold shoes?
this is why Athens is on my radar....half the price of Paris & twice the space for apartments + the beaches!! BTW: "command Strips" work great......have your back home friends mail them to you
Girl! You need mirrors in your small apartment. A large window at the kitchen counter will open up the space. A gallery wall might looked cluttered. A large circular mirror would be great!
I have always had a hard time with ivy. It does not need light though. Maybe try a pothus. They are very easy to grow. I would try a darker rug, maybe something with red and green. Rich tones. I mean, you’re in Paris! Go to a flea market and find an older rug! Darker colors are more forgiving. Also, I would do a gallery wall.
You've done a great job. Perhaps you could build an island with cabinets or shelves below and wood plank on top as a chopping block for the kitchen space. You could put wheels on it so it's moveable, also it could function as a divider separating the kitchen from the sleeping and living area. You would have extra storage and additional counter space for food preparation if you decide to do that. Finally, you could put a grow light in the toilet area for the plant if you have your heart set on keeping it in there...?
I have similar vine plant, it doesn't like direct sunlight so I put it away from the window, I was afraid to overwater it, but actually after I bought the selfwatering bulb to use for when on vacation it started thriving and I noticed how much water it actually drank and now I just refill the bulb instead of watering it, and it grows like crazy so I was also thinking about somehow making it crawl the wall, so I'm curious which wall hooks did you use?
Since the color scheme in your apartment would be pink and green, maybe a big wall art in pink would work, much bigger than the piece hanging in there right now, to have an impact. It is a foyer, so logically, it is the place to introduce the color and vibe of the space that follows. The frame for the wall art could be in gold, to echo your lovely mirror, creating more continuity in your design scheme. Center that frame on that great wall. If a print in pink is hard to find, one nice trick is to find a fabric or wallpaper with pink as a dominant color and encase that in a gold frame that you might find in a flea market. As for the floor, a round rug in the center will give the space some balance which makes for some good feeling as they enter your apartment. Flowers are always a welcoming sight in any foyer. Love your excitement and enthusiasm!!
The chairs are great color. Regal yes. Table in front of window so European especially in France. Move closer when you can open up the windows and now you feel you are sitting outside a cafe but you can be in your pajamas and slippers. No fuss no muss. Add in some plants by the window or put ones you have on the table while enjoying the Sun drinking your espresso and eating your crepes you have learned to make. Invite couple girlfriends around. Also around sunset sipping some wine and cheese.
Why don’t you shop for more eclectic pieces at the marche aux puces? Flea market in Paris!! It looks cute so far but all brand new, maybe mix it up with older more antique-looking pictures and small or larger objets d’art here or there?
Yes I see this comment a lot 😂 for a few reasons.... The puces can actually be quite expensive and I am on a tight budget :/ I went looking a few weeks ago and almost every deco piece was over 100€. I actually hate buying things brand new, I just prefer to buy second hand but because I don't have a car, I have to buy my furniture at stores that can supply delivery :/ hopefully with time I can continue hunting for the perfect unique pieces for my place at the right price !
Your place looks great! I think you should check out some of the local flea markets for artwork. It would add the perfect finishing touch to your space. Good luck!!
ahhh thank you !! Yes I will ! The problem up until this point had been that transporting big pieces of furniture back to my apartment would have been complicated without a car or license.... but art should be doable !! haha
I'm curious to know if your landlord will charge you upon leaving for the holes you drilled. I was doing stuff while watching your video so I apologize if I missed anything.
The apartment looks so good! You might watch Alexandra Gator, a young Canadian designer and Vlogger on UA-cam. She specializes in small spaces and you can get more ideas and resource information for artwork etc. You have done a fantastic job in only five months!
Your apartment is looking great! The only thing it's hard to understand is the big decorative water jar in the small countertop close to the stove. I think it will be covered with fat and it will be in the way while cooking. I would sell this water jar in any Market place.
I just saw you and started watching when you were apartment looking. You are so much fun. I may have missed it but what is your story? When did you move to Paris and why? What do you do as far a job wish. I don't mean to sound like a stalker I am old enough to be your Grandmother. I am a retired Travel Agent and love to hear what makes a young girl like you venture into a different country and different city not to mention to a city as big as Paris. Did you know anyone before moving there? That's enough for this time. Keep posting you are so entertaining and fun. I hope at some point you show us parts of Paris you love. My husband went to Paris and we went on the Eifel Tower and we stopped at the first place it stopped and the elevator opened we all piled out and my husband was hugging the main part of the structure. He doesn't like heights. We stood at the fencing and was looking over the city and it was amazing. I know why you love it
I feel the hall needs two rugs in the same color. One perpendicular from the door across then one butting the rug out towards the living space? Not a round one.
Hi! New subscriber, I have an idea for the wall space by your dining table….. an oversized clock would look amazing there. Just a thought. And the proper frame will make your Jewelled Lady amazing!
So cute. Watching your apt journey motivates me to keep refreshing my space. Definitely a vertical rug since you want to lead into the living area not the restroom. Maybe a frame around the poster in your bedroom area will work better? I wish I found your channel before my 1st visit to Paris. Can't wait for more arrondessmont content. I wish I had your courage to live in another country in my 20s.
You are doing a nice job! You might want to check out the Paris flea markets or brocants. Check out "Parisian Farm girl" on you tube. She recently took a tour group to Paris and they did a lot of flea markets. Also Alexandra Gator may inspire you. You might try wicker flat style baskets, more mirrors and shelves, collections of random things, depending on location, purses, hats, framed posters, architectural pieces, copper cooking utensils, china plates on your walls. Have you tried turning your dining table the other direction? For inexpensive hidden storage, you might experiment with covering cardboard boxes with fabric, contact paper or anaglyta paper. (you'll need to invest in a hot glue gun) Look for used decorating books or search the internet. Keep up the good work!🙂
yes absolutely ! I used a universal Bosch drill :) I would just make sure you look for a drill that has both the "hammer drill" and "normal drill" options !
Cute apartment, in regard to a rug in hall way a round one , it will cover more space . I have a question in regard to rent if its not rude to ask is that 864 euros for a week or is that monthly here in Australian dollars its $1,337.94 cents. This weird this the amount a family member is paying a month here in Melbourne ,the apartment is really cute has a little court yard ,hence saying this have fun in Paris the magic city xo
Have you thought about a shelf or 2 above the sink in kitchen? Maybe to ease the look by washing machine (from looking clutter).. looking great!..ok came back to say mow that I'm almost done watching, I see you talking about selves in the kitchen..🙄😂
I was wondering if you have permission to drill in those old walls? As a renter it is often not allowed....as someone mentioned below, you should check out Alexandra Gator's you tube channel! She has great info for renters and has many renter friendly ideas! Like peelable wallpaper for your toilet room for example! Good luck! It looks so cute !!
Add a large mirror on the wall by your dinning table. It will reflect more light into your apartment.
Wall hanging above the bed. Can be a bedspread from ikea. ❤❤
Just looking at your decor a suggestion maybe go and get Rustolium spray paint in antique gold you can spray paint the legs of your dining room chairs(pink) that will match the gold table in the lounge. My vase hold 3 additional toilet paper and it is next to my toilet. This will help with making the space look cluttered . Hope this helps you.
Get plaster sinkers versus drywall sinkers. Everything looks adorable.
A gold frame would look good to match mirror, a round rug i would choose good luck
Your friend is very good, had a good eye 👁🏺

Oh wow thank you so much for such a lovely comment I cannot stop smiling ! So happy you enjoy my videos !!! ☺️🤗
Drill hooks into the ceiling to hang pictures and plants. Grab a plant light bulb 🖼️🧚🏽♀️🥑🧿
Personally, I love the personality the picture of the lady brings to your apartment...a frame can make a big difference. You are doing a great job and making wonderful choices!
Me, too.. it is hung a little high, maybe.
Well done! Don’t worry so much about getting ALL of the artwork - that’s a process for you to enjoy over the coming months, gradually adding pieces and building your “collection.” The apartment looks so beautiful! Enjoy each day; enjoy shopping; enjoy testing out inspiration!
Watching Arielle videos while having broken legs is the best medication !
omg from BAE himself
It's Beautiful!!!!!
You have a lovely space and I absolutely love your choice of colors and use of the live plants!
You need decorative pillows for your couch. You could pull in colors of your chairs and other beautiful colors.
You should try grow lights to give your plants more uv- there are clip on kind to use during the day and can be put away when you have company.
I just came across your videos because I love Paris. You've done an amazing job. I don't know many women who could have done all the building you have plus everything else that needed to be done, moving, lifting, drilling etc. It was a tremendous amount of work! Kudos to you.

In the US we call them a ‘stud finder’ (ha!).
@@VolcanoGroupie A stud finder just finds studs though. The wires and pipes, not so much?
I love the pink chairs! 💗
I love your place.Your doing a great job.The rug in your hallway.Keep the poster and get a rug with rust color init.
Wow! Love those chairs! I’ve got several IKEA pieces myself and I’ve loved them all. Your instincts are worth trusting; spot on!
Definitely need get rid of that poster😂. Also, I suggest you use Sweeper to clean the floor instead of the mop and bucket. It’s cleaner and save a lot of space
Thank you for the tip ! 😂 Can you use the Sweeper on hardwood flooring ?!
You can exchange the places of the mirror and the poster.
i would definitely get a oblong or horizontal rug it will pull the hallway together , get something with strong colours it will go well with the white walls
I think from stressing over finding your apartment and all the work , building and pulling things together, you have run yourself down a bit. Time to start relaxing. Before your sick.
I’m probably your Mom’s age but I can tell you your friend was giving you excellent design advice!
Have you thought of peel and stick wallpaper?
The mirror looks perfect. Great placement for it!
great job!! add a mirror above your couch!! Or on the wall by your bed! Also maybe think about adding colorful framed art leaning against the wall on the shelf in your bathroom? Possibly add a grouping of small pics above your tall bookshelf or one medium to large pic with the plant to the side of in front. The vertical rug in the entrance.
Love your couch and dining chairs. Your apartment is beautiful. 👍🥰
Wow, looks really nice! Maybe some baskets in the kitchen open shelf cupboard, to hide all the little jars etc. to make it look more organized?
Gold spray paint does the trick on the toilet paper holder! It’s looking cute
I would’ve put cabinets over the sink for cups & plates but your apartment is looking great. Love the addition of plants!
Love your ideas and enthusiasm, but one question, where is the shower to,
Really looks good. Love it.
Great job! I’d replace the bookcase on top of the washing machine with wall shelving, leaving a 90-100 cm space underneath. Then, i’d top the washing machine with a piece of countertop you get cut to size at the store. That would double your prep area and free valuable horizontal space.

thank you for the lovely / helpful comment ! yes i agree.... the poster just doesn't fit the vibe... I feel like its too dark for a hallway that needs brightening instead.... I'll see what i can find haha
Have you tried to get a pretty looking grow light for your trailing plant? Also loooove what you did with the place
Gold pray paint for your toilet paper holder :)
ahhhhh how did i not think of that before I drilled it in 😂 thank you for the tip !
Oh no. Hope you feel better. Love ur place. You seem to have such great taste and very creative.
thank you so much for the lovely comment ! made my day :)
You should put the mirror on the wall with your jewelry display. It would be pretty to see the mirror when you first walk in.
Enjoy... love the process...keep creating !!
Your apartment looks great.
thank you so much for the lovely comment ! :)
You might want to get a stud finder so that you can detect metal.
Ahhhhhh very good tip thank you !!
You did a nice job placing everything on the bookcase!
What a nice space . Keep decorating. Show us a before and after! ❤
Zara home has a lot of great rug options!
I just came across your vlog. I am your parents age and likely have little in common other than our love of Paris.
I do want to share that I find you truly delightful to watch and love your ‘single girl’ spirit! Now I am hooked 😊
Stay 😎. An American in Minnesota
Ahhhh thank you so much for the lovely comment ! ☺️🤗
Looking good!
i'm 22 and i have a goal of moving to paris one day, watching your videos is so fun and i love your apartment! bonne chance pour ton voyage
Just recently discovered your videos and really enjoying them. I think you should get two more pink chairs honestly, they look great and wouldnt look too crowded around the table. Also how about a small table under the pretty mirror to hold your keys or a wicker basket to hold shoes?
It looks great!! I would recommend a full length body mirror in that empty space beside your bed :)
Wow love the mirror 👏👏
Wow great find the mirror was. Frame items mentioned before is molding the French are great at using that.
this is why Athens is on my radar....half the price of Paris & twice the space for apartments + the beaches!!
BTW: "command Strips" work great......have your back home friends mail them to you
Girl! You need mirrors in your small apartment. A large window at the kitchen counter will open up the space. A gallery wall might looked cluttered. A large circular mirror would be great!
Thank you for the tips ! You're right 😂 I think I just feel weird adding so many mirrors !
LOVE the poster!!!
I like the painting and the colors of it--U know everyone is going to have an opinion--so choose Urs!
I have always had a hard time with ivy. It does not need light though. Maybe try a pothus. They are very easy to grow. I would try a darker rug, maybe something with red and green. Rich tones. Ah ok thank you for the tip ! ☺️ I used the clear hooks that stock on to the wall and come off just as easy ! The brand is 3M
Since the color scheme in your apartment would be pink and green, maybe a big wall art in pink would work, much bigger than the piece hanging in there right now, to have an impact. Ikea has some super cool pendant lights.... instead of the florescent you mentioned.... have a fabulous house warming !!!
It’s beautiful piece.🌹💋🥰👍🏻❤️
It's obvious that you really like decorating. And putting things together to your style of things.
Beautiful apartment transformation. How many IKEAs are there in Paris? Located in which arrondissement and what are the closest Metro stations?
There is just 1 located at the Madelaine metro station ! ☺️
You're doing a great job!
Hi Margarita greetings from Venezuela. Your flat looks cool
hi ! :) thank you so much !

I'd move the hall mirror to over the table and move the print to inside the bathroom door
I'm curious to know if your landlord will charge you upon leaving for the holes you drilled. I was doing stuff while watching your video so I apologize if I missed anything.
As long as I fill them and paint over it should absolutely be fine ! ☺️

So funny … I was about to suggest the same designer to her! Great minds think alike!😊👍🏻
I agree with @LElman. She can give you a lot of ideas about small apartments. She is from Toronto in Canada.
Horizontal rug defines the entry way.
Vertical and a bench in the alcove.
Your apartment is looking great!
The only thing it's hard to understand is the big decorative water jar in the small countertop close to the stove. I think it will be covered with fat and it will be in the way while cooking. I would sell this water jar in any Market place.

Hi! New subscriber, I have an idea for the wall space by your dining table….. an oversized clock would look amazing there. Just a thought. And the proper frame will make your Jewelled Lady amazing!
Great colour choices!
Where did you get the name of your channel from? About get the Margaritas " from?
If you hang some mirrors on the wall where your computer is it will disperse sunlight throughout your space!
Doing a fabulous job! It takes time….
That plastic thing is called an anchor. If the anchor is to long simply cut it to fit . You will have to get a shorter nail.
Ahhhh thank you so much for the tips and for leaving such a lovely comment ☺️🤗
Beautiful
Keep up the good work!🙂
can I have the details of your drill ? I need one here.
yes absolutely ! I used a universal Bosch drill :) I would just make sure you look for a drill that has both the "hammer drill" and "normal drill" options !
Spray paint your toilet paper holder, gold! 😉
Love 💕 it….
ahhhh thank you so much ! It's definitely finally coming together haha
Beautiful apartment
Tres jolie
Hahahaha yes I will get shelves soon ! 😂
