Executioner's Tax is easily one of my favorite tracks of the year. excited to see them live, but also kinda scared. some big dude's gonna land on my head.
@@brandongale3149 My condolences for the loss of your son. I live halfway across the planet and have never met him or had a chance to see him perform but his music touched my life. His compassion and care for others is inspirational. I will remember him always.
Many people call that Hardcore. But i only listen Thrash Metal with some Hardcore influence. For me that is Thrash Metal! But the crowd in their shows every time consists of young hardcore-kiddies, only few "real" metalheads, little bit strange for me. ;)
Andy Koch haha I know what you mean. it must be weird for metalheads and hardcore kids to coincide especially with the hardcore dancing and all that lol.
Yes it is so. Sad but true, but it seems that "classic" metal of the 70's or 80's and "modern" metal are two components, that are hard to handle as one. I grew up with Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Metallica, Slayer, Sepultura, Kreator, Exodus or Death Metal like Dismember, Obituary, Death and i sure have another feeling to the music than younger people, that grew up with "modern" stuff. I even like some good newer bands, but i feel closed to the earlier metal and it's expression. It is always hard for me, when younger people kick & beat around them while "enjoying " the music. I enjoy the music by moving my body, banging my head or showing my fists. I do not want to harm anybody close to me. This aggressive "dancing" is not mine and if this starts i usually go more back in the crowd, where the "normal" people are... ;) I prefer to stay in the olde, calmer fraction... :)
They have claimed in plenty of interviews to be more punk / thrash metal than anything. This is not hardcore. Fuck hardcore. This kicks hardcores ass. Listen to bolt thrower. You'll see where they get some of their influences.
R.I.P. Riley you gave us so much awesome music 😢😢😢
