Dude, the whole band is legit. Riley wails without (apparently) any throat issues. The drummer does his thing effortlessly and yes, the guitarists are shredders. Awesome band.
Plus i'm a drummer and I love the fact that riley had a rule. No double kick!!! When I said that you didn't think about it did you? If your music and the riff is good , you don't need it!!!😊😊
This is their best recorded live show by far, camera shots are perfect, crowd is insane. Plus they played all of my favorite songs in one set! RIP Riley, the god ❤️
Some metal shows have a way of dragging on. They seem to last forever. Some shows you look at the frontman thinking "is this guy just playing up the whole 'metal' thing and being a badass or is he actually an asshole"... With Riley he had a great way of keeping the energy up, keeping it fun, but not seeming like an asshole at all. He also seemed really grateful and humble while keeping up insane spirit and intensity. RIP.
I had never listened to them until I heard he died. I’m not a big fan of thrash. More of a black metal fan and used to be a big fan of hardcore. When I hear this it sounds like a mix of old school hardcore and thrash. I love it. RIP
PowerTrip deserves to continue. They need to pull an ACDC and find a new lead singer/frontman. No one would be able to fit into Rileys shoes but the band needs to go on.

I was in a very bad construction accident and almost lost all my right leg. Had to be flown to a differnet hosptial where my leg was saved from amputation. Leg was operated on and was saved but was in excruciating pain, was given a drug called demoral. This drug man, it killed the pain and made you feel like ur flying literally. I was given this drug don't remember for how long, but once it was taken away in low dosage, i felt like shit, ur body is crashing, and craving for it. Man, I'm glad I survived all these different pain killers I was on. I'm not saying Riley was experiencing this, but i sure was. He will be missed, thanks for posting.

Ive always been a big fan of Texas Metal! I just watched this for the 1st time and not only did I love the power of the show.
