Rest in peace Riley Gale. I guess this is as close to seeing Powertrip live.
So fucking sad.
Was so crushed when I heard that. God this year fucking sucks
Same. Truly a sad day. Was really looking forward to a chance to see them live after this shitty pandemic.
That sucks man. I always look forward to seeing Power Trip where they come back to the city where it all began..
Such a shame, he always seemed like a really great guy
"And for the next ten to fifteen minutes, I'm really glad this isn't my house".
I was actually thinking how weak the crowd was.
DubpornMS shit venue for power trip to play at
😄😄😄😄😄😄
aere you kidding me? this must of been awesome!
DubpornMS it's a house, a bunch a friend's having fun, are you 12?
You were expecting Mosh pits in a living room ?
Rest in Power Riley
Whoever did the sound for this show is a fucking god. Truly a gift to the people who won’t get to see them live.
Possibly the best live recording ever, 2nd only to their live album 🙃
Saw em thrice alll three times amaze
Fuckin sounds GREAT. CRANK THAT SHIDDDDD
Couldn't agree more.
Yeah. This mix is freaking great. These fockers are/were :( tight as fuck.
Rockstars die all the time, but Riley's death actually makes me so mad. They made arguably one of the best metal albums of the modern times, his charisma and stage presence was insane. And for him to die so young when Power Trip was just getting some good amount of attention. Rest In Peace Riley, it's a helluva show wherever you are now.
RIP Riley. Way too young.
No. It's approximately the correct age to depart, for these turkeys 🦃
R.I.P. Riley Gale he brought his heart to his vocals and stage presence. A legend in metal. 😪
So bummed. An incredible voice and talent.
Well said
He's dead?
@@Chad_Fuckhammer Afraid so
Dr. Perun - ur comment is only valid in a perfect world. I know alot of professional musicians and u are dead wrong. I don't condone drug use but it is often part of their path. Encourage others to make better choices don't judge.
"Thank you everybody, everywhere, who may be watching this at a later time". Thank YOU, Riley.. you will be missed.
That opening riff gave me a combo of chills and sadness at the same time. Powerful. RIP Riley.
50 Y/O old school thrash head here. My faith has been restored by this band. I honestly thought we lost music forever.
Nuclear Assault meets Sepultura with Discharge thrown in, and Pantera grooves.
THANK YOU YOUNGSTERS!
This is the most accurate description of PT. Rock on fellow meathead 🤘🤘🤘
38 and I fully agree with you! Getting ready to see them here in a week at full Terror assault for the second time
I think they have some heavy oldschool slayer vibe going on as well as the other obvious influences!
They have a authenticity that music lost back in the late eighties. Such a breathe of fresh air to a man suffocating on garbage music. Thank you power trip
@irishmetalfan I saw them last december when they were touring with cannibal corpse and they really are fucking amazing live
Came to watch again after I heard the news. Rip Riley!
same its damn sad R.I.P
Yep. Me too. Too damn good to go so soon.
Same, he was a great frontman. Taken away way too early.
I saw them in a small bar in Australia, was amazing. I offered him a joint and we talk for like 15 minutes, he was the nicest guy 🙏 RIP
Thats a good memories!
that's fucking sick, whereabouts in Australia if you don't mind me asking
when he was in malaysian i gave him joint and we had hotbox inside my car :(
Wish I'd heard of these guys sooner rest in peace Riley.
Same here man. I'm more into hardcore punk/punk but these fucking guys... Makes me wanna be in a thrash band.

What a fucking great band.
So bummed that I'll never get to see this live, RIP Riley.
Ye man, so fuckin sad. I still have tickets for Powertrip, Kreator and Lamb of god concert.
The concert was postponed from Summertime to December... Now I'm not sure about anything... fuck. RIP Riley Gale man.
Same
Me too man
You missed out my man, they put on some of the best shows I've been to. Especially when they went to their home town

Facts
Hahahahahahahahaha I would Mosh with anyone that would have me.........................
Fuck me. This is the most amazing thing I’ve heard in 25 years. And the only reason I found this video is because I read about the singer’s death. Heartbreaking. Such raw talent.
I'm 52. Have been a thrash fan since early 80's. These guys could hang with anyone from the early days of the genre. So bummed about Riley.
@@mattynutrition9353 so true, these guys are a top tier thrash metal band
@@mattynutrition9353 55 here totally agree.
That's exactly what I thought when saw this! INCREDIBLE!! Fuck anyone who says the pandemic & every shitty thing that goes with it doesn't exist!

No auto tune, no electronics, just grab you by the balls ROCK and Roll!
I saw them just before Riley passed. If you’re one of those that never saw this band and think you missed out, yeah, you fuckin missed out.
Stripped down...heavy riff...single pedal ...metal thrashing mad...and fuck yeah...from TEXAS!!!!
Lol...I just liked my own comment
Riley's legacy shall live up to this of Chuck Schuldiner, Dimebag and all those we lost too soon :( I can't believe it ...
2:28
I like the interaction between the fan and Riley ....
Look, how Riley grabs the guys shirt to pull him to the microphone....
😁😁😁
I think I've watched this video more than 20 times in one year
I have a friend from Arkansas that set up their equipment and he sent me a text about them!Ha said it sounded like they were chopping heads live!!!RIP. Riley We miss the hell out of ya!
RIP Riley. Not a fan of metal tbh and here because of a friend who told me about his demise. His exuberant presence while performing yet a friendly touch to him is what got me engaged till the last. Started to appreciate thrash metal now. Riley will be remembered.
You don’t even care about Riley gale you poser
@@stromboliman8132 easy there deli meat lad
You know, there was another great guy like Riley, who passed away too soon: Paul Baloff.
R.I.P the real frontman thrash metal! You are real friendly and cool guy! See you in heaven.
RIP
THEY PLAY FKN TIGHT!!
I come back to this video almost daily. RIP Riley
I saw Power Trip open for Exodus and Obituary in 2017 and was floored by them. I loved them from that very moment and I knew they were going places. After their set, I went to the merch stand where they were hanging out. I bought a CD and a patch (would've bought more if I had more cash.) I shook all of their hands and said they were incredible. Then I said to Riley, "You guys are going to be selling out stadiums, and I'm gonna be there." Riley shook my hand and said, "We'll see you there."
Then I saw them open for High on Fire in 2019 and everyone I spoke to was there for Power Trip, not Matt Pike and company. It filled my heart to see them rising in popularity. Got the shit kicked out of my nose which wasn't fun lol
Rest in peace to one of the best frontmen and humble performers I've ever seen.
Wow
thats sounds like a bad as fuck show…! exodus lost paul to meth and power lost riley to fetty..… i do both those drugs evwryday…they must of had a better connect than me

RIP RILEY GALE I AM HEARTBROKEN. Power Trip has gotten me through so much...
3:54 this moment right here 🤘
16 minutes you'll never regret
"The executioner's here and he's sharpening his ax!"
Best live version of "Executioner's Tax".
Rest peacefully, Riley.
Riley "Thank you everybody , everywhere who might be watching this at a later time". When things go wrong. RIP Bro

I'm 58 old school metal and Power Trip gets it! \m/!!!
I'm 59 and you are so right bro.
+Rim Shot
56 years old and these fuckers are tough. OLD SCHOOL!
80's Metalhead and I'm liking these guys.
Me 51 sounds gd to me
I'm 105 and these guys suck.
Riley had great vocal talent and as a tremendous frontman, he was an important part of the spirit of Power Trip, it will be difficult to replace him… RIP Riley
Deepest condolences 🌹
I’ve watched this 2M times
We are Power Trip from Dallas Texas and for the next 10-15 minutes I'm really glad this isn't my house. Rest in Power Riley Gale
This reminds me of early slayer, Metallica, Pantera and Sepultura. The riffs are amazing and I am head-banging alone.
My thoughts exactly!! Early Sepultura big time!
🥰
I was thinking more along the line of Sacred Reich
Def old Metallica, some ride the lightning vibe in there
These guys were really starting to make a name for them selves.
Sure wish i coulda seen em live in person. RIP Brother🤘🇺🇲
It's April 2021, and Riley's passing still doesn't seem real. It took me 4-5 months even to listen to PT again or watch videos of them, for it made me too sad. I never had the pleasure of seeing PT live, but I feel like Riley was a person who everyone would want as a friend. Rest well and powerfully, good sir. And thank you.
Still doesn’t seem real, there for sure is a void to be filled
Rest in a Power trip brother.
Rest in power riley 💗💗💗
I LOVE YOU RILEY .YOU ARE THROING DOWN WITH THE LEGENDS NOW WE MISS YOU BROTHER BUT YOUR ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS .DALLAS THRASH METAL LOVE BROTHER
Riley was one hell of a frontman, I never got to see them live but I always loved this video...
Same, come back to this one often. This band helped to restore my faith in newer thrash metal, and for that I will always be grateful to Riley and the boys.
Riley really had a powerful stage presence.
Texas will always be proud of you Riley, R.I.P. 🤘
R.I.P And Thank you Riley Gale
RIP Riley. Can't believe you're gone.
Rest in peace, Riley. A new generation that gone too early...

"Mosh in your living room, throw your tv out the window" Throwing it back to Mental live on WERS. Cassic.
Sick I threw my wife out the window \m/
Before that you're wife are huge Disturbed fan?
" worth it"- your wife
Haha😂💪
I saw them open for obituary and exedos, and they blew the old guys out of the water!
Ok Boomer...
Fuck man. I keep coming back to every show online. Keep it alive.
RIP Riley one of the best to do it.
Damn straight
RIP Riley thank you for everything man
So fuckin tight. Shit sounds so fuckin Texas and it's all good.
Everytime we listen to it, it gets better and better.
About those moongels on the snare: Glenn Fricker from SMG let out a trick from Nashville to eliminate snare ring without those things. All you have to do is detune the three nearest tuners by 3-5 half turns or just enough to ripple the skin. It’s totally free and works exactly as advertised. No more t-shirts on the skin or any other bs to buy. It’s like firgin magic
Gone too early...
RIP Riley... You will always be remembered for your energy & what PT has done for all of us..
I wish that was my house.
Get insurance on all your stuff if you havent already
Xaxaxa
Damn! Me too.
Rip Riley.
RIP...one year later and we still mourn your power!
Never had the privilege to see this band or Riley stage those crazy stage performances that everyone tells me about.. rest in ultimate power..
I've always wanted to grow up in the 80s or 90s as a teen. Born in '95 and I live for the old school!
Heathen, Attacker, Randy,Manilla Road, Jaguar, Nasty Savage, Cirith Ungol, Exorcist, Hallows Eve, Sepultura, Rigor Mortis, Re-Animator, Mercyful Fate, Sacred Reich, Overkill, Vio-lence, Dayglo Abortions... List keeps on going
It was fun brother! I definitely feel blessed to have experienced that era. Seeing Slayer, Possessed, Megadeth, Overkill, Voi Vod, Celtic Frost, Dark Angel, Dr Know, DRI and countless punk shows in the 80s was really special. Lots of great bands today, but that era was particularly unique.
And I can’t forget Metal Church! They crushed it.
RIP, the last frontier dude. Love from France
Sorry you left us so young Riley.
PT won't be the same without your presence.
RIP Riley.
These guys are ABSOLUTELY the most METAL band around since about 1990.
havok joined the chat
Kratos Uchiha Power Trip>Havok
iommic they equal
Not at all
YEAHHHHH RIP Riley
They just got back together with a new lead singer. I know it's not Riley so it won't be the same but I think Riley would have wanted to show to go on.
People die all the time, but legends are forever. Riley's legend will continue and hopefully the remaining members do right by him.
Rewatch again. RIP Riley, we miss u❤🤘🏼🤘🏼
I always knew the name Power Trip but the day I sat down and gave the band a true listen (and loved it) was the day he died, I shit you not. I took it as a sign to become a huge fan and help preserve his legacy so people will always know his name and music!
Rest In POWER Riley...
ONE YEAR TODAY. LOVE YOU, BROTHER.
Gone to soon... RIP Riley Gale! One of the best metal frontman in the las decade
I wish I had a chance to see Riley live somewhere. So much life,so much love, so much energy. Rock on brother!!!
This video was the reason Powertrip was at the top of my list to see live and now that he’s gone I’m so sad I never will.
Strombo got some platnum ear bro..chooses just the best of the best
yah, strombo used to piss me off on his shows, but this is uber cool
AWESOME BAND
Wherever you are Riley, you will always be remembered. REST IN POWER!
I met a guy yesterday who was friends with Riley Gale. I was only familiar with “Crossbreaker” on liquid metal. Thank you James Walton for turning me on to Power Trip and Riley Gale. What a beast. The American Max Cavalera in my opinion. R.I.P.
No disrespect to Riley at all, but Max cavalera has written about 1 million songs
@@Airfarts_ yea because Max and Sepultura have been recording since the mid 80s, if Riley and Power Trip had the opportunity to be around for nearly 40s in the industry they would have written a lot more songs. Riley wasn't even born yet when Sepultura released their first album
i will rewatch this video forever. rest in power riley so sad i never got to see you live
I had the pleasure of seeing these guys twice in Houston Tx most memorable is at WALTER'S IN downtown. Small place the only way to experience it. RIP way to soon brother
Che tristezza. Great band, great singer. R.I.P. man ❤️
For the next 10 to 15 minutes, I’m really glad this isn’t my house either.
RIP Riley
The universe is chaotic and random. Our existence is but a blip. And we are not relevant. It's the only way to explain how a bright star such as this can blink out without good reason. We miss you, dude.
