Having multiple streams of income is a game-changer for financial stability. Relying solely on a job may not provide enough financial security due to high rates of tax It is important to explore additional investment opportunities to surpass one's expectations. @@letmebakeit in my opinion there's two aspects here: completing the project, and selling it. I'm am very pleased for finally getting it done, and I learned a lot in the process, as I decided to create it myself instead of using a ready made solution. As for the second aspect, it has not sold any copy after a week; it may be a bad choice of tags, the lack of reviews, myself not being famous, or who knows, but making money out of it was not my priority. There's a massive amount of choice in that area, so in the end it's all about getting the right product noticed by the right audience.

Fun fact 😂… I’m the creator of the planner at 1:18 - very fun to see you cover it in a video!
It’s not a typical dated planner, it’s actually a Food Diary designed for those who want to track their food intake, etc. Our dated covers are some of our most popular ones! 🤣 of course though, they need to be updated annually.

    • @Eventide215

That's an interesting idea. A yearly food diary for people that just don't realize *everything* they're eating or even not eating. Dated covers can be nice, but much like he said, and you as well, they need to be updated annually. That can be good and bad in various ways. At least you have people rebuying every year.

@@froggyjosh I actually have, I did a book a few years ago. What I found, is without a social media audience to drive organic traffic it's very difficult to market or appear in searches. I did some sales. However, I had some issues with it. It is very easy to make a book, so easy such that it doesn't generate maximum value. So, you need to cast a very large net and do a lot of marketing to make decent sales. I am sure there are some people who have hustled to do well in the ebook industry, but it's really competitive and the only real winner is the publisher. Still hope Mark gets back to my question. Would love to hear from those who have done will with ebooks.
I have found other business models that have yielded me better results and provide greater magnitude of value, so I have pivoted to those.

this not only looks super helpful but also fun to do. i've been trying to find a job for more than a year but i keep failing at getting one. rejection after rejection i start to grow desperate in trying to find a job. all i want is to just earn a bit more money so i (NL) can go see my boyfriend from a different country (UK) more often and build a future with him over time. there's lots i want to do aswell. so i've started looking into things that might offer me a bit of extra pocket money each month so i can treat my bf more often. and no i'm not planning to completely depend on this tactic to earn more money, that's a bit foolish. i still want to have a proper job with a higher main income

He has an upfront time investment. Daily/Monthly upkeep in this case are essentially the Amazon fees for printing the book and their cut.
So if had spent an hour on creating this, and made $149.99 in revenue. He got to keep $26.91 of it- assuming he didn't do any more work- he made $26.91 for the hour of effort. However, the book income many not be steady- and to scale the sales he will need to invest either more time, money, or both into marketing.
