@@ratnarahim7256 once you've completed your journal the kdp will ask if you want to publish or you can get a proof. Don't hit publish because once you have the proof , you can still make changes to your journal.once you're happy with it then click publish .I hope this help.
@ratnarahim7256 I'm also a 'noob' but I read that you can request an authors edition when submitting to Amazon KDP. I have not published my book (yet) but I'll be getting mine for sure.
@@ratnarahim7256you can either request for an author copy which you pay for, or you can get a free proof instead.If you choose the free proof, they will not publish your book until after you get your proof.The proof you can’t sell and it’ll say that on there, but the author copy you can sell and it’ll look just like what a customer would order.The proof is basically to make sure that the quality is good and everything is correct

Sean, Thank You for posting this video. I try to learn something to help advance my skills every day. Today, you showed me a few things I could do in Canva that I was not aware of. This video has fantastic step by step details, thank you. I will say it's a little too fast paced though, I had to keep going back a few seconds, pause, and listen again, etc. And some of the things you have set up already (like the ruler showing), is something not everyone has set up, so I had to pause the video and google how to get it to show. When I went to go back each time in spots that were too fast, it showed a pop up that said something to the effect of a lot of people rewatch this part, so it may be something to take a look at. If it wasn't so detailed, the pace would have made me click off and find another video, but I stuck with it because you do have every step included. Just wanted to share some feedback :)

People REALLY need to stop uploading low-content and no-content books and journals to Amazon. 296 comments here, as of 09/04, and EVERY one of them is someone uploading what is, essentially, a blank book to Amazon and thinking they're going to make money from it.

Here is the message from KDP for 3 differents Journals that are BLOCKED.
Based on our review, we won’t be accepting your submission for publication because the book(s) might result in a disappointing customer experience.

hello, I have followed your ways of doing this whole amazing thing but I have just got this one question. Can I order a copy for myself as well? and does amazon make u pay for the cost of printing?
hi, I just saw your comment and I asked myself the same question, you can order a print proof and up to 5 copies, however they are not for resale and will have a watermark as such. There are shipping costs according to the number of books you order, but they are different from the book price.

I'm confused about deleting the template before we download the final artwork. When you say delete the template, what are we clicking on to delete the template?
Position on the top will show you all the layers he is referring to the instructions he added on the 1st layer. You can delete previous layers by going to position at the top of the page.

If I download images from various free websites and then edit them, would this be considered AI-generated content? Also, if I create cover images using images from different image generation sites, would that also be considered AI-generated content?

One more question if you don't mind. If i write a book that has alot of my own writing and some journal areas. is it still considered low content?
You didn't say anything about the actual text. How do you generate the text for the journal?
I loved this tuturioral. I finally made my own inside journal pages. I was mostly finding crap on Creative Fabrica. Mine look great now. I made some possibly funny journals. Going to sign up for Pubby this week. I would love more tutorials on making great content, whether it be low, medium, or books!

So I am sure that you have covered this before. What is the truth about using Canva for KDP I am in a group where the host says out right that you cannot use any Canva elements and upload to KDP. I get so many different people saying different things I am stuck
You have to have a minimum of 3 canva elements per page in order to use them for kdp
@@mommyscribbles so why is that hard? if you use shapes and things right. I was about to pull all of my books because I used Canva elements. so if on my journal pages I add little images on the corners of each page that is ok or do i have to use the 3 elements together to make a 4th (new)element.

Hi there. I'm not seeing what you are showing at 11:02 (moving the margins) when I'm looking at my canva screen. It's just showing a blank page with no ruler at the top or sides. What am I missing?
To turn on the ruler in Canva, follow these steps:
1. Open Canva: Go to Canva and open the design you are working on.
2. Access the File Menu: On the top-left corner of the Canva interface, click on the “File” menu.
3. Show Rulers and Guides: In the dropdown menu, find and click on the option that says “Show rulers and guides.”

It's a good tutorial, but you completely skipped over the categories. What categories are best for independently published notebooks and journals??

could you do a video on how to use fiverr and go through the whole process. that would be very interesting. The whole process probably take a few days but you could tape a bit each day and then put it together. I think many would be interested in this. Thanks again for all your amazing videos.

@@ilikeduck-suntzu7349 I have gotten a few, but Amazon has my account on hold since July 5th and they haven’t done anything to fix the issue. I am not able to sign in to see my account to give you a clear amount of sales at this time. I do not expect miracles on high volume sales this early in. All my journal covers are original and from my personal photo collection.

@@Bewusstmitherz I have only made a few sales thus far. It’s definitely not a make instant money. I suppose if I was to pay big money for ads my sales would increase, but I am not doing that.

It appears that English is his second language and I think he's doing a great job. How fluent are you in your second language that you never make mistakes? Are you able to create content and put yourself out to the world in your second language? If not, you should sit down
