Hondata is doing great things with the new type r. I'm curious to see 0-60 times with this new program.
This is amazing, wheel spin is essentially gone even in cold temperatures
Are you using the traction control tune?
You guys ROCK! Keep up the great work!!
Thank you!
I’m really thinking of getting a type R. Can’t go wrong with a Honda and all this amazing tuning software
Wow, no more wheel spin or wheel hop in 1-3rd gear! Just uploaded it and on 30% Ethanol improved throttle response, 1st 2nd full power, FF shifting partial and full throttle, disabled rev hang.
Were glad it is working well for you
Hondata I’m spreading the word, I’m glad I chose Hondata but in all honesty it was a no brainer for me. You’ve been doing this decades before the competition. I also see how focused Hondata is with the FK8 platform constantly putting out updates and videos, thank you and I am definitely staying tuned for new features.
What's your 0-60mph? I'm a fk8 owner too.
killerracernos Not sure I don’t have Draggy device or gone to the track.
@@calisti555 So the 1st gear is not full of hops and needless spinning? I don't even give it full throttle in 1st and rarely in 2nd because of it.
The 4 people that disliked this video have KTuner
When is hondata gonna update flashpro with TRACTION CONTROL !!!???
Why were you displaying the gas mileage on the dash and not the boost gauge....???
Think it’s time for us to trade in for a Type R!
And you did just that right?
Please make more updates for the Accord platform leaving us stranded. Our money is good as the type r.
Would you like a Type R turbo upgrade calibration?
No just would like to see something for the Accord 2.0t with bolt on upgrades. Theres not to much for the Accord that's all I'm saying just a stage 2 and that's it
we would like to see Type R turbo calibration!
Will this feature be added to the 10 gen si platform?
For the 8gen Si, is this traction control comes with the Flashpro? I thought it sold separetly...
Yes and It should be able for the european Fn2 also with the k20z4 engine
you had to buy the traction control box for $600
Which throttle response setting is optimal with this new traction control? Right now I have 91 octane, improved throttle response activated.
I have a 2020 Honda type r with 400 horse power and the car jerks bad at about 4500 rpms and I did have the hondata flash pro but I don't know if my guy tuned the traction control like in this video the rev match system keeps failing too
Pleeeease bring this feature over to the fk2 platform it sorely needs it
Is there a Hondata tune available for the Acura RDX SH-AWD?
Yes, we have tunes in our FlashPro software.
Should I put my traction control launch slip value to what you put it at? Mine says for % 550/350/75/10 where yours is 10/5/4/3... I don't intend on going to the drag strip but I do like a good launch sometimes. I'm not really sure what this launch slip value means or the numbers to be honest
What is the point of this if you have stickier tires and just turn off VSA in R+ mode
The gauge cluster should have been on the Boost setting for this video, not the fuel economy setting.
Does it work in R mode too? I had it on before and it cut power still.....
Mine is enabled but whenever I do WOT on 2nd gear, power cuts off at 5.5k rpms and brings my car to complete halt until I release the gas and step on it again. I was able to fix the issue by going into +R mode and holding the VSA button for 10 seconds to completely turn VSA off. Its kind of a hassle to do this all the time. tried re-flashing multiple times with my both the options of traction control on the mod box and also the the traction control enabled on the calibration.
the oem vsa on my 8thgen does the same as how the type r did it, how come on these Civic si is not possible to have this feature without having to buy a hondata standalone traction control system?
Technically, it should be available. They're already able to log all wheel speeds in the software...
@@DerekRobinson that's exactly what i thought lets hope we get some love on this i will love to hook 1-3 gear on street tires
@@DerekRobinson you can see it on this video of me running an isf ua-cam.com/video/m4KByEco3DE/v-deo.html
Will this work on my crx?
It doesn't work for me. I'm using the tune that comes with FlashPro for 93 octane, (PRL) Intercooler, with no rev hang, reduced power in 1st and 2nd gear and traction control with no wheel-spin selected, so the traction control should be fully implemented in first gear (I do not drag race from a stop) controlling reduced torque in the lowest two gears. Yet, even rolling on the throttle from a slow roll, I get wild wheel-spin in first gear and some, far less, in second gear. It's eating up my Pilot Sports (4S).
Do you turn off vsa for this? Or it automatically turns it off?
How do you enable hondata traction control within the vehicle?
Tried it out my self in my type r and it seems like I lost a lot of torque when I enable it. So i just took it off car a whole lot faster without it
OK. We need data. Can you send to support@hondata.com a second gear 20-50 MPH pull with traction control off, then with it it on. Same piece of road same direction same day both runs. Send the calibration you are using as well.
Just because you spin doesnt make u go faster😘
Hi, hondata works for fit SPORT'18 and how much is the increase, thanks
Stay TUNED!
I miss my type R
Love Hondata
Any CR-V L15b7 Flex Fuel Support yet 😉?
Will this work on 2.0t accord
When do you expect the next update? I already wore out the insides of my front tires in 3 months with your ots E30 tune 😢
Try it out and give us your feedback!

Well, you'll have virtually no wheelspin with this software update, you will accelerate faster and you'll save on tires. Let us know how it works for you!
Thanks for the update and just uploaded it. Did you speed up the upload time because it uploaded really fast not the normal 6 min upload time. I’m running stock wheels and tires, do the parameters stay the same? What’s the PID? Also does it disable factory traction control? After I drive it I’ll respond here with my impressions.
Factory traction control is not disabled. It is still there if needed. It's just that Hondata software traction control responds faster (in milliseconds) than VSA and targets a programmable slip ratio for maximum acceleration. PID is for the ultimate in fine tuning.@@calisti555
Hondata Is it better to disable the factory VSA? The traction control supersedes the VSA since boost isn’t affected by it causing oscillating and boost reduction.
The si will get this update as well right?
We are working on it!
can this work for.the fk2 as well
How come your website hasn’t been updated with the new software download for V3-2-7?
3.2.8 now available.
Hondata I am unable to see that reflected on your website. It still shows V3.2.6 as of the 6th of March 2019 on your software page?
Go to the help menu on FlashPro manager and check for updates.@@mytevoIII
Hondata cheers that’s working now 👍
Who drives that hard with traction on.
Will this feature be available for the fk2?
