Believe it or not there is a Bricklin SV1 right here in New Zealand imported and restored by a friend of mine, it's rumored to have been purchased originally by John Lennon for his son Julian.

We had a all black one when I was a kid ! Man I had some crazy memories in it lol ripped up my aunt and uncles front yard trying to drive it when I was 9 lol
years ago I was living in Vegas around 1976 i worked on a used car lot on 13th and Fremont st. and every week we would take cars to the LA auto auction and my boss bought a Bricklin and when we got back he let me drive it around town for a couple days It was fun but I thought the gull wing doors were a pain. but it was fun to drive got alot of looks.
Pretty cool cars. Love both the back to the future and the ghost buster. But the hot tub is awesome. The ford motor sounds great. Must have duals

I always enjoy seeing a new video. I really wanted to see the engine and interior but I am sure we will be seeing more of this car in the future.
Bricklin is nice but the 1963 Cadillac Ecto -1 is a beast

This is why traveling back in time is a bad idea. Step on an ant in the past and your driving a Bricklin in the future your delorean is rotting away in a barn. Watching this was like waking in an alternate reality

It looks the part. That's for sure. Put some time circuits in it, get some hoses connected on the sides of the vents, and add a bit more detailed components in the rear trunk and you've got the makings of an alternate reality BTTF time machine.
When I was a high school freshman, there was a senior that had a brand new Bricklin. It was orange. Only one I ever saw in person.

They built only 3000 Bricklin cars and only about half are known to exist today. It's collectable but not when it's disguised as a DeLorean. I shook my head in disgust when I saw it.
A lot of Bricklins are in sad shape, but at least this one is on the road.
Having owned one myself I am a huge Bricklin fan, and when I saw this I kept saying to myself why would you do that to a Bricklin??

7k even 4 years ago is a pretty good steal for this car regardless of stock or not they sell regular on bring a trailer from 18-25k
you guys are doing great work, and have inspired me to want to restore old cars. My uncle in I started on a car when I was 10, but he moved on and we never finished it. I don't know much about restoring cars, but really want to get into it.

Motor's in the front, better weight distribution than the BTTF Delorean which has the engine and Mr Fusion in the rear, can't be good for the handling lol

#2897 was the last numbered Bricklin made at the factory, the rest where Bankruptcy Bricklins, great car none the less (I own #2882)

What's the vin number (just the last four digits)as I sold my 1975 white bricklin to someone in Texas long ago...wondering if it might just be mine from a long time ago...FYI...mine was 1136...thanks...
I bought two from Texas in Houston. 170 and 1432. 170 is in Texas, and 1432 is in New Jersey.

I would just like to own a car that I dont have to work on I got a caviler a week ago and put a new motor in it me and my wife was driving it and the frame broke on it so im out a car and a 1000 dollar I will never get back and I had to get my dodge back on the road and it needs a new font end put under it and that's costing more money I dont have I had to let a lot of my bills go to get the car I cant drive on the road......grate vid keep them coming sorry about the rant
@John Chrysostom sir the frame is so eat out it cant be fixed the subframe is gone it would cost me more to fix it the gas lines and brake lines r the same way its scrap but it has a brand new motor in it with less then 200 mils on it
