I love this build. I put a Oldsmobile rocket 350 out of a 1978 Oldsmobile 98 into a 1982 Cadillac 54" stretched limo. It went really well except I had to weld the 98' engine mounts to the frame of the limo. The 350 bolted right up to the limo transmission & the wiring was fairly straight forward. The 350 - Quadrajet was more than enough power for the limo, in fact it smoked the tires.

That Hearse is Gonna be BadA** to me it’s a very Mad Max esque build can’t wait to see the payoff I actually had the same idea a few years ago to stuff a diesel in one but I was gonna use a mid 50’s caddy Hearse
Steve Porter its probably a combination car these were referred to as a Limo style hearse because they had a far rear side window to quote an old movie “the only difference between an ambulance and a hearse is a paint job”
We actually got it from a funeral home in Lubbock! It was in service sometime up until the 80s. It’s designed to carry caskets, we could always show off the inside of it, it has rollers designed aswell to roll it.
Maybe your “deadline “ wouldn’t seem so close if you didn’t waste time filming two separate shots of you throwing every removed part on the ground. Super cheesy guys.

Turnin Rust yea that’s the thing when you “produce” the show it detaches the feeling of being “in” the garage with you guys. Plenty of fake drama filled cheesy produced shows on the discovery channel. I think your unique projects could make you guys stand out.
To each their own my friend, it has been working since we started. Which drama are you referring to? We build the vehicles and talk about what we are doing to them. The deadline is real, we literally filmed every thing up to the car show, to the judging and leaving the show. You’ll see all of this in 2-3 weeks once I wrap up editing. It’s as real as it can be with putting a camera on people and planning out shots and what to talk about. You can’t film a half decent show without producing it.
I had to laugh at your safety glasses on the top of your head. I get more dirt in my eyes when they are on too. I really enjoy seeing you and your Dad working together. Mine has been in heaven since feb. of 2000. God has blessed you !!!
Just came across y'alls video. Nice to see what happened to the hearse. I travel through y'alls town all the time going to Oklahoma. I always wondered who owned all these cool rides. Great to know now.
Damn the deadlines and drama (and unneeded cutting on nice rides)! Yes,this is a nice, unique build. If that was only goal, you nailed it.Time to take time to do an even nicer, more beautiful build, not as much hacking, eliminating, would have created a true showstopper. The A/C bypass makes for a near unbearably hot,not too comfy ride to bake in during cruising.Id tried to keep it,rather that just toss it out a the way to save time.A custom, although timely, oil pan keeps the steering AND original firewall intact for less of a hacked, thrown together look. That hood lower brace trim made the good fit,but that exhaust piece so close under hood will certainly melt the paint, and maybe even warp the original, straight sheet metal of the outer hood skin. All that said,I give you a 20 on 10 scale for different, never give up,one of a kind, drivable build. High fives to both of you!I give you a 5 of 10 on creature comforts (I wouldn't drive that car x a small town in 90+ temps).3 for quick willingness to hack things out of the way with little to no time to try to do fitment better, not fast.If you ever intend to sell the car, what will you tell buyer if they ask for some of those original parts to redo your quick job slower and put some things back stock WITH Cummins eng too? Y'all did an ok to good job.Time helps all situations, true, but not an excuse for remove this, cut that attitude on such a good, rare starter project.Pick a vehicle anyone can find and buy easily to cut on,or take time and spend money to do justice on rare classics.Just my own opinion.
If any of the parts we removed could have been left with proper fitment of the new engine we wouldn’t have touched them. Sometimes there’s only one way or so many options to make something work, that’s how Kustom was created. Everything that you’ve named off has already been or will be placed back in the appropriate area that allows it to clear and function properly. It’s like putting pants on for a shirt, sometimes you just gotta cut some holes and change some things to make it work lol. Thanks for following and sharing your thoughts on the build!
Much love to our Australia friends!! We plan to make our way over there eventually. Would love to visit some of the custom shops over there!! Thanks for tuning in, means the world to us!

Too bad the front frame on the truck was crashed because it probably would have been better to cut the front frame off the dodge and just use it as a front stub, that cummins is heavy and needs a good suspension and brakes to drive good, factory parts are already engineered for it

As always, great content Lance. Great to see a fella who love cars, but loves Jesus more! Keep going!
Thank you for the kind words!! We put Him before everything, just a father/son pursuing a passion together!
Man y'all have some awesome shows. By chance I have a Cummins swap going on myself... going in a cat eye Chevy like your red one. Also has a solid axel swap too lol .keep up the good work and always keep Jesus first!
I know the name says sarah but my name is kevin. Sarah is my beautiful wife. Anyway I love what you guys are doing within the car. It's definitely something different. I bet it would be a blast to drive
Too bad the front frame on the truck was crashed because it probably would have been better to cut the front frame off the dodge and just use it as a front stub, that cummins is heavy and needs a good suspension and brakes to drive good, factory parts are already engineered for it
You've still got the Mighty Metro? I thought it was done
Not quite! We are actually filming the remainder work on it! You’ll see her soon :). The gentleman bought two vehicles.
I enjoy watchin you guys and your projects. Keep recycling that old iron.
Ah, c'mon with the cliffhanger. Can't wait for part 2. 👍👍👍
Sorry man!!! We just got home from the car show in Houston last night, part 2 out in 3 weeks!!!
good taste in music
I really dig the soundtrack on this one :D
