As always I enjoy the items you have ,now what get my juices flowing is the slammed jeep in the garage, just picked up a free jeep in a tree row 4x4 frame body is there needs someone like you to put the spin on it ,but slowly getting my wife to warm up on the vision? And the vision is sitting in your garage! Thank God for my wife you live in TEXAS, and as you know ! My hope that if that happens my pocket has some change ! And a roll of the dice, things might happen , And to say 1 other thing your suspension work are spot on just to pick one thing ,as usual we who support you and your family keep TURNIN RUST ! And I pray that of us will put this MESS behind us and cruise down the road with windows down and smell the fresh air !

Guys, we have a local "garage" who *HAD* a collection like this. There was a barn full to the neck with cool, rare, some unique, projects. They never got round to most of them, wouldn't sell them either, and the barn crumbled away over the years. Every single one of the cars went for scrap - an absolute tragedy and a valuable lesson. You guys seem to be good at what you do so: *stop buying and get building* or the same will happen to most of these. None of them are getting any better sitting there. Good Luck with every one of them.👍
    Cheers for now,
    Dougie.

I've been watching your videos which takes me to remember when I hade my father a live; we also work to gather on much of the models that are playing on the program Turning Rust. What of blessing you have to have your father a live and to work together in Christ. I wish you the best in the future of Turning Rust. God bless you all.

I really enjoyed this! Some really cool projects to look forward to. I've always wanted to have a '76 Gremlin project since that's my birth year and I love those things! My first car was a '79 AMC Concord that I bought with paper route money out of my neighbors yard. My great grandmother had a '71 AMC Matador that was a tank. AMC's were built solid, and their inline sixes run great.

The VW Thing is priority #1 for me and worth spending time on, due to its rarity. VW sold millions of type 1 Beetles so only good for parts unless they are ‘67 or earlier because you’ll never make your money back. I like the commercials too, panel vans particularly or pick ups; much more interesting than vans/busses with windows in them. Good hoarding, keep it up 👍🏻

Loved the video. I did notice a few discrepancies in your description of the vehicles, regarding their model years. I don't know if you just didn't recall the years, or if you were not sure, but this is what I noticed:
What you called a 1954 GMC short bus is actually no newer than 1953. The 1954-early 55 GMCs had a slightly different grill where the parking lights were integrated with the grill, albeit in the same relative location as the earlier ones.
The short bus Ford that you said was around a 1952 is either a 1949 or 1950 with that grill.
The Ranchero you said was probably around the mid-60s is actually a 1960 model year.
Lastly, what you said was a 1969 Ford pickup, is more than likely a 1968. In 1969 there was more black in the grill and the headlight frames had black surrounding the headlight.
I really enjoy your videos, but when they get to be around an hour long, I just don't have the time to sit and watch the whole thing. Keep up the GREAT work!

    @ccpanel 4 роки тому

your '54' shortbus has 50-53 front fender group on it. 54/5 front group should have dents around park light and surrounds on tails of the grill surround.
your green '52' is not-it can only be 1950 or older. 51 and up lost the side vent and 52 lost the turndown handles
your "patina shop truck '51' has 52-55 doors
    love it!

Hey guys, just heard from the young man filming " Turnin Rust all this time, and he said not to expect the program to be the same.
I'm guessing that this means your still in business, but I'm really not sure.
Could you please go on UA-cam to help clarify your position a little, for those of us that were serious about wanting to do business with you in the near future?
Thank you for all that you have shared, and for your warm acceptance of the youtube intrusion.
I personally looked forward to seeing your new shows, but I do understand how the whole thing can become a pain, when your trying to run a business.
    I will miss you.

Great collection of vehicles! Loved that Ranchero, reminded me of grandfather's early 60's one; manual choke, the longhorn heads embossed on the vinyl seat, and the "3 on the tree" shifter. that I learned on. It also was painted white.
You may want to consider how much over all time it will take to get them right vs how much time you have to devote. In other words is there more material than you can get through, as you add more later on?
