Thank you. Could you explain why we use p32 in dna sequencing? What's the purpose?
P32 is a radioactive isotope of phosphorus that emits beta particles. It is commonly used in DNA sequencing as a way to label the nucleotides in a DNA strand. The P32 isotope can be incorporated into the phosphate group of the nucleotides, which makes it possible to detect the labeled nucleotides during the sequencing process.
