Try looking at a quiz show called 'The 1% Club' with Lee Mack hosting. Its not about knowledge its about what your brain can see, or not see. That will test your brain.
of course, keep doing it. It is a nice, more interactive change from a plain reaction. Because the show itself provides the base for both comedy reaction and quiz. It's such a brilliant concept. And keep jumping series's.
Love you both doing these shows in parts. Just out of curiosity you should go on you tube to watch the latest final of countdown where the eventual 16 YEAR OLD WINNER! And his opposition regularly get all the maths right and mostly 8 or 9 letter words!! I think he name was Arthur on the regular show averaged over 110 over 8 games! A bit more than John and Sean!
I think it's a winning combination of watching countdown and at the same time seeing you two interact together completing the questions..........and, getting better at it. It's very entertaining so please keep doing them.
I did that first numbers game in about 5 seconds (like Jon) and I'm usually really bad at them. How did you NOT immediately do 9 x 50? It does the rest for you from there
A trick with the numbers is use the 50 or 10 to get close then see what's left. So obviously 9*50 is 450. And you have a 10 and 3 left to get you to 437. EASY.
Jodi was so close in the numbers game. She got 50 x 10 = 500 and 9 x 9 = 81, but 500 - 81 is 419, not 418. All you would have needed to do afterwards was 6 x 3 = 18, and 419 + 18 = 437.
Show goes quickly in installments, like this panel. I am having a binge watch. Feel smug when I do better on words against you, didn't realise I was competitive use to play with my mum, now 93 years old with paper and pen like you. Stubborn thing beat me every time. 👵🇬🇧😅. However, occasionally you and Jodie amaze me with your maths skills. Thank you for sharing this ❤
Please keep doing these , I always enjoy them. Joe's ' clone ' got funnier as it went on . I don't think anyone actually worries about the score but it's always fun watching you both try every round .
I posted a link for you yesterday, for a full episode of ‘Grand Designs’ in the comment section of your Part: 2 Post. About 10 minutes later, my post with the link had totally disappeared. Did you extract it for your future viewing, or it is possible that I might have infringed some form of UA-cam algorithm that deleted my comment ?
@@simonrobbins8357 I’ve posted links before in comment sections without any problems, but, your suggestion to add the link later in an edit, is a good one, which I will try in future. However, in the meantime I’m hopeful that one of our delightful hosts might helpfully confirm if they were instrumental in moving the link elsewhere. Just so we know if we are wasting our time attaching them or not!
I really enjoy these reactions to Cats Down. Please carry on with them. The episodes get better and better with each series too.
I'm surprised how many people didn't multiply 50 by 9 first of all, making it more difficult for themselves thereafter. Great channel by the way. 😊👍👍
Funny I was thinking the same . I think once you've seen a few Countdowns you start looking past the obvious .
That was the easiest maths round ever
@@andywatts8654 Nawww, the easiest one ever was Catherine Tate trying to make 101 with the numbers 100, 75, 5, 9, 5, 4. She didn't manage it. lol :D

I agree.
This is a great shout

I think Nick's the winner... if you know what I mean 👸😉

These "cats" reactions are very enjoyable, if you mix them in with your other content it's a win win
Yes, I'm enjoying your "cats" reaction/play along vids. More please.
50-6x10-3 job done in about 10 seconds.
Wrong,! 437, not 287. Sorry for being a dick
trevorbeaven
Yeah great, the answer to your equation is, 308.🤡
@@xaj1543 50-6=44
44*10=440
440-3=437...

Obviously, but that is not how he wrote the equation.
BIDMAS my guy. 50-6*10-3 = -13. Still a few brackets in there next time

Couldn't agree more. Love that the competitive banter between them
I'm really enjoying this type of content. Please keep going!
In 10 seconds -- 9x50 =450 - 10 - 3 =437 ..... you needed extra time 😵💫
I really wish you'd interact with the comment section a bit more.😢.
Love you guys. Would love to know what you think about some of the comments

I hope you two aren’t maths teachers because I got that in about 3 seconds.
I did 50-6 then x10 then - 3. All within the time he said feeling smug!

I thought it was amusing that he called him a showoff for doing it the objectively easier way.
Keep doing exactly what you're doing. It's excellent.
Yes I am enjoying this please continue your "catsdown" reactions, that is what the cool kids are calling it. 🤣😎
My numbers: 437 = 50 * 9 - 10 - 3 = (50 - 6) * 10 - 3. The first 2 methods that I spotted.
Please continue ❤❤
I got Launder for 7 in the last word game. 😅
Love your reactions guys..perfect as it is 👌 murder in successville a BBC show I think you may enjoy too
The face on the toast is probably etched with a laser engraver, so the image is really burned on the toast

I got the first number round in 3 seconds. How did you not get 9 times 50 minus 10 minus 3?
lol
you paint on the bread with water then toast it

Hint when Sean said his silly word at Conundrum, immediately got answer, so say word out loud and the word kicks in? Imo.
Sean enjoys buzzing at the last and playing for time , I think John might have got it and given him a clue .
50 - 6 = 44 × 10 = 440 - 3 = 437. The toasters that actually make shapes/faces do use an extra metal piece that heats up.
That’s the way I did it
I got it 9 x 50 = 450 ,10+3=13,450 - 13= 437! and I got it with 25 seconds to spare, I got F in maths. typos bah
Nick and Jodi check out Countdown’s ‘The most extraordinary numbers game ever?’ by countdowgoofs

Love this
9*50=450
10+3=13
450-13=437 easy peasy
Edit: Looks like Jon did it the same way
This maths one is easy 9×50=450 _10+3=437
In the numbers round you were looking for 7*9, but you have that because you have 6*9 and an extra 9 which is 7*9.
Go Jodie !,❤
9 * 50 = 450, - 10 -3 = 437 way easier 😊
Please keep doing these , I always enjoy them. Joe's ' clone ' got funnier as it went on . I don't think anyone actually worries about the score but it's always fun watching you both try every round .
PLEASE react to the Janice Dickinson interview on the Jonathan Ross show, with Andrew Lloyd Webber and John Barrowman. 🙏🤘
I did 50 * 9 - 10 - 3.
To everyone watching who got the math answer by using 50x9-10+3, in about 5 seconds, bear in mind that this pair of knuckleheads are both teachers!

Joe Wilkinson always ruins this show for me. Just not my type of comedy. I find him just annoying.
Baffling why you would watch it, then.

Skid it then

50 - 6 = 44
44 x 10 = 440

9x50 = 450 - 437 = 13
10+3 = 13
